[Rain watched her run off. StarClan! she thought angrily. They've abandoned me. I could care less. She jumped out of the water after she was sure Leopardpaw was gone. At least she knows I'm not coming back. She crawled over to the tree and climbed it again. She kicked down branches so there was a pile of twigs. I'll need a leader's den for me. And maybe a warrior's den for anyone who wants to join me." [She kicked down some more dead branches and jumped down, landing on top of them.]

[Rain jumped down from the enormous pile of twigs. She organized the pile into two smaller piles and sighed. This was too much work. Even if she was going to be the leader. She looked at the holly bush where Leopardpaw hid and growled. I can't do this on my own! she thought. I need Blackflame or someone- Her thoughts broke off as a cold drop of rain plopped on her nose. She sneezed. She grabbed some twigs in her jaws and walked over to the holly bush. It was sprinkling now. She twisted the twigs into the top and finished quickly. She ran over to the tree again and pulled down some more moss. Rain grabbed it in her jaws and ran to the holly bush. She crept inside and laid out the moss.] "I'll make a leader's den later." she vowed and laid dwon to rest.

[Rain woke up. It had stopped raining again, and it seemed peaceful. She slipped out of the holly bush. She walked over to the piles and took some more twigs. She walked over to the holly bush again and twisted the sticks in with the branches. That'll keep the water out! she thought happily.]

[Rain sat down to admire her work. It didn't look too bad. This can be the others' den. she thought. And I know the perfect place for my den. She jumped into the river. It seemed higher than before, up to her neck. She pushed a paw into the side and it went in easily. Perfect. she thought as she began digging a hole.]

[It was dusk by the time Rain had scraped out a long tunnel in the stream wall. She padded in, sopping wet. It was dark. She could only feel the walls with her whiskers. She came to a sudden halt before she hit the back of the tunnel. She started to dig a large cavern where she would put her nest and room for meetings.]

[It was completely dark by the time Rain had dug out a small cavern. Her belly growled. She turned around and ran out the tunnel. She jumped at the ledge and swam. She climbed up the side of the stream and didn't smell any prey. She saw a flash of silver in the water and jumped in. Rain watched as the fish swam away and she pursued. She ducked in the water and popped up a moment later with a fish in her mouth.]

[Rain scrambled up the shore. She quickly ate it and started to walk over to the holly bush for some rest. She let out a yowl.] "Ouch! What did I step on!" she growled and lifted her paw. Her paw was bleeding and under it was a a small metal thing. It was straight and ended at a point on one end, and it was flat on the other. What is that? she thought.]

Wavepelt looked at the stairs and started padding towards them. "I really don't know, let's have a look. There might be tons of mice there that I haven't even found".

Wavepelt took a peek up there and grinned, the looked back at Serpent. "Stay here and close your eyes" he jumped up the rest of the way. He smirked and pulled the cloth off the window and smiled at the dazzling colos of lights around the room. He looked at where the stairs are "you can come up here now!"
(it's a stained glass window, with a rose in the center)

__________________[she dashed up stairs when she heard the ok. her jaw dropped at the dazzling lights that danced around the room. never before had she seen such beauty. it was like a dream!! it was like a whole new world! She felt at peace here.] This is now Serpent's favorite place in the whole world!!

Wavepelt smiled as he watched Serpent and laughed. "This place is amazing isn't it? I spent so much time up here, just looking at the lights". He padded next to her and sat down, his eyes drifting around, trying to look at all of the colors.
