I think it's good that they took a precaution to identify fakes from the "real" rare items.

I like the sparkles, but I'd like it more if my avatar could sparkle like theirs do, and not limit it to my items page.

I think it's kind of...snobby. Like, LOOK AT ME, MY ITEMS SPARKLE, THEY'RE SPECIAL, I'M SPECIAL! Having such a sparkly inventory is getting annoying.

On the one hand...sparkles.
On the other, it does make it easier for me to pick out the rarer items from my inventory, since I have so much junk in there.

When I hover my mouse over the item, I can't read the name. >.< I need that function-- who would possibly expect me to actually REMEMBER the full names of each and every item? Like, when I need to buy a duplicate, or tell a friend what I have equipped, stuff like that.

Well I love the sparkley. I wish that they were on my outfit though. That'd be so cool. I have ADOS (Attention Deficit OOh Shiny).

With a large inventory it is very hard to remember all the names. I am getting tired of going into TekTek just to hunt for an item I already own. sad

Part of me finds them a little annoying, but part of me likes them.
I don't know. I feel kind of flattered that my inventory sparkles so much. Then again, I also feel like Edward Cullen. D:

On my mains I have pretty much my entire inventory glowing. Its kinda... well, glad they're going to work on giving us an option to turn it off.

Go to the Gaia blog and it explains why certain items sparkle. It could be part of some more grand, but as for right now it is so differentiate between real and fake items.
