Landry thought his quickness would be enough to keep Tyson off balance, but it was he who was caught off gaurd as he was picked up like a sand bag and dominated down to the ground.

After squashing Landry between himself and the canvas, Tyson would spin around on the mat, keeping his chest against Landry's back. Then after getting his head next to Landry's Tyson would go to lock in a sleeper hold.

The maneuver was sound as Tyson, the larger competitor, essentially enveloped Landry underneath him, and at the same time controlling the head and neck as he cuts off oxygen and blood to the brain. Landry had very little time to correct this positioning or it would be lights out.
His first move was to get his knees under him, granting him space to move from there. Next he hand to clutch onto Tyson's arms and try to pry them away as much as he could to reduce the restriction of his blood and air flow.
From there it was anybodys guess how he would actually escape the hold.

Tyson was obviously the stronger and bigger of the two competitors, but Landry's know how was perfect in the grounded situation. Landry was able to pry Tyson's arms just far enough so the air would and blood flow would return, weaker but still there. Then after realizing that this was not the best way to go at Landry Tyson decided that using his strength and size would be is best bet. So Tyson released the hold and went to stand up and go to swing a heavy forearm into the side of Landry's skull.

Landry was definately caught off guard by Tyson's sudden change in stratagy, he was focusing all his attention on getting out of the sleeper that he had no defence ready when the forearm came swinging for his head. And it landed hard.

after landing a solid forearm upside Landry's head Tyson stepped off from over Mike and went to grab two hand fulls of hair, looking to pull Landry to his feet. If successful Tyson would go for chop across Landry's chest into an Irish whip into the ropes.

Landry was dissoriented and on speghetti legs. The chop would have knocked him over if it wasn't for the immediate irish whip into the corner afterwards.

Just as Landry came back from the Irish whip, Tyson went to scoop The Heartbreaker up and spin around looking to power him down with a solid powerslam.

Landry was picked up and slammed down once again by the powerhouse. He had to think of a way to turn this back in his favor, which he could now do thanks to the stinging pain up his back snapping him out of his earlier stuppor from the forarm shots.
