Ebby laughed, glancing up and taking in his interesting physique through her thick lashes. "Are you going to help us, or will you be running off to abandon us to our building?" she teased.

Bovi gave a look of mock surprise. "Curses! You have found me out. Now there's no way I can escape, so I suppose I must aid you in your construction!"
Ballare giggled hard at Bovi's fake acting. For some odd reason he always found it hilarious. "Yay! Bovi's gonna help too!" he said with a clap of his hands before starting to fill his pail up again.
"How big we making it?" Bovi asked. Ballare stopped to think for a moment.
"I dunno. I guess until we're tired of building?" was the child's response.

"Sounds good to me." Ebby laughed and moved closer to Ballare a bit so Bovi had room to sit down.
The three managed to make a decently sized sandcastle before getting tired. "Now what should we do? Go for a swim?"

Ballare looked to the water and then back to Ebony. "That sounds like fun. I just wanna grab a quick drink first. I'm kinda thirsty..."
"The drinks are in the cooler Ballare, and remember..." Bovi started
"I know I know, I only get one soda. I know the rules," he said as he trotted off and grabbed a water bottle from cooler and began to drink. Once he got in a few gulps he trotted back and past them, heading straight for the water with a squeal of delight.
"Shall we?" Bovi offered, gesturing to Ebony to allow her to go first.

"Sure!" she laughed, grabbing Bovi's hand and dashing down towards the water. It was a sunny day and the water was cold and salty, splashing up on the beach and half chasing people away and half inviting them to come play.

Bovi laughed and ran along with Ebony towards the water where Ballare had already gotten to. He didn't go very deep though, because even with his water wings, his body made for awkward swimming and he didn't want to go any farther without someone else around.
"Bovi, can you and Ebony come with me? I wanna swim, but it's scary without someone there..." he said, kicking a hoof in embarrassment.
"Sure kiddo, come on," Bovi said, still holding onto Ebony's hand as he coaxed the deer taur a little bit deeper.

Ebby moved a bit around Ballare to take hold of his free hand with hers, making a little circle around the deertaur. "Come on, we'll keep you safe." she cooed, smiling at the boy and flicking her wings a bit.
About that point, a large wave splashed her and Bovi's backs, causing her to make an "oh!" of surprise and start giggling a little. "Come on Ballare!"

Bovi steadied himself as the wave caught him slightly off guard, but he managed to regain his balance with ease.
Ballare slowly moved himself deeper into the water. It wasn't the fact that he was scared, it was the fact that he was a taur and that made for buoyancy issues.

Ebby giggled a little, watching the taur float a bit above the water at points, leaving trails of sparkles and stars in the water. "Theeeere, now you're floating a bit better." she cooed. True, her and Bovi's legs were partly what was helping, plus his own natural magic, but it was working right?
As a joke, the girl extended a wing and surreptitiously splashed Bovi.

Bovi sputtered at the water being flung at him and laughed. Had they been in shallower water his anklewings would have retaliated, but he had the next best thing, his tail. With a quick sweep his tail dipped into the water and sent water in her direction.
Ballare was half entertained by this, and half entertained by the fact that his sparkles stayed in the water.

Ebony eeped and giggled, having to let go of Bovi's hand to throw up her arm and block the water. Her own wings splashed back, this time throwing some at Ballare too.
