"Oh, good." Maggie said. Darnit she was hearing voices agai-OH.
"Hiiiiiii," she said, trying to pretend that she had known the other woman was there all along. "Oh, I'm Maggie," she replied, then pointed at the little blond girl. "And that's Lilah." She circled around the racks of clothes, until she was standing in front of skirts. There was a big poofy brown one in the front.
Ew, brown. Behind it was a yellow one. Oh! Much better! She picked it up. "Yours not interested in clothes?"
Lilah grabbed the ball out of midair, her hands hitting against it with a 'smack!' This time she tossed it upwards, as high as she could...then cringed as it hit the ceiling. Whoops.

"Nah, his decided what he likes and as long as he has a good supply of it he isn't interested in trying anything new." She replied with a shrug, "It's what I get for having a boy I guess. Anyway, we have to head off now. It was nice to meet you." Giving Maggie a nod she made her way over to Pilot to tell him it was time to go.
Watching the ball bounce against the ceiling Pilot gave a wince and caught it, setting it down gently. "Maybe we should not throw it around, might knock over something." He suggested. He was about to ask if there was anything else she wanted to do when he spotted his Mom, this time without the new stuff. Sighing in relief he asked, "Time to go?". Receiving a nod he gave Lilah a final grin and said, "Nice to meet you, maybe we'll see each other again.". With that Ophelia and Pilot made their way over to the counter, paid for the shirts and headed off.

"Kay!" Lilah replied, saying goodbye to Pilot.
Maggie waved serenely, before collecting Lilah from the play area and they went up to pay for the shirt and skirt.
Only when they got home did it occur to Maggie to have Lilah try the clothes on. They were a little big, but that was ok. Lilah would just have to grow to fit them!
