So...
Someone to Watch Over Me, Memory, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again or, if I was to do it, The Wizard and I?

2 out of those four I think are good, however...
-Memory is WAY overdone at auditions.
-Wizard and I I see two things wrong with. One, belting... as someone mentioned and two, saying what I said before... I would stay away from Wicked and the Wiz becasue they are indirectly connected to "The Wizard of Oz."

Ah so many options!! Thank you so much for all your help! I'm thinking about going with Someone to Watch Over Me. Don't let that stop your suggestions though! Anything better would be greatly appreciated! biggrin

I actually think that "Someone to Watch Over Me" is a great idea. It would show your range and your ability to do a "dreamy, why can't the world be the way I want it to be" number. You could also try a few other Gershwin numbers, but I think that would be the strongest choice.

I don't have to pick a song period! stressed They're gonna teach us a song there! Grrness!

*screams and does a snoopy dance* I did it!!! It's over!! I dunno if i beasted or totally sucked, but I did it!!! I sang the song and I was so scared...I hope I did it ok. The dance was simple...I know I did great with that. The worst thing, I think, was my reading. When I did Dorothy, I over-did it. I always over-do it when I'm acting nice.

I don't care...it's over! Ugh, I hate auditions.

Anywho...the bad thing is...we don't have a place to perform it. The 122 year old theatre burned down Satruday. Another show, Peter Pan, was supposed to begin Thursday! Luckily, they're using the college audiotorium but...it just won't be the same. crying
