The only anime convention we have is in Nashville, and I haven't been there yet.
It'll probably suck, though. My city tried to through out a Sci-Fi convention because it attracted "rambunctious, undesirable people"....

I live in BC! Vernon... Uhm, I'm not on many maps, ehehh... There arn't any Loli's here... And unfortuently, because of my lack of funds, and resources, I have no Lolita clothing :'( I do have a few accesories and such that could pass for lolita.... *sighs sadly*
Soon though, I'm hoping to have something. I'm going to make a trip to value village, and see what I can find.
Also, I'm thinking about ordering some off the internet, but because they are heavy S&H almost kills me... and really good stuff is pretty pricey... sad

I'm going there this summer for a few weeks, I should check itt out or something.... Do you know if there are any shops around in that area that sell lolita clothing?

Orestria I'm from (northern) ontario (although I'm currently more in central ontario) and there's a very big chance I'll be at anime north this year. I... pretty much just wear pants when it's cold, and then I listen to the radio and if the day is warm enough, I'll wear a skirt and legwarmers
Anyways, I don't normally have the time to make or wear Loli outfits... I mean, once I have the money to make them, I'll wear them a lot. Especially once I open the Toronto based real store version of my online store. I'll wear the dresses every day. Always a different one. ^O^ And curl my hair in ringlets, and wear a cute little crown/tiara, ect.
I'm eccentric, I go literally the whole nine yards. So I'll probably have a cute winged scepter, too. XD
I really don't care what people think of the way I dress.
And when its cold out, I'll wear thick stockings, and leg warmers, and a somewhat Lolita faux-fur coat. ^_^
Because all my outfits will be either pure velvet, crushed rayon velvet, or cotton. And lined with soft Irish linen. ^____^ heart

Miwako's personality and looks are all around cute, in my opinion. She may not be so independent, strong and she may be air-headed, but they makes her all the more loveable. Besides, being strong and independent is over-rated, in my own humble opinion...
