Both had heard it, both seemed to know what it was he stopped and looked at both. "You both know what they are...." He said in a weird... rationalization.
He looked curiously at both of them. Mel he could probably assume would've known because he saw her out like he was. However Aurora... he'd only guessed because of her hand, squeezing his wrist no less.
"I wasn't out chasing anything." He added with an air of I hope you really don't believe I was that stupid. "I was leaving kickboxing practice heading home avoiding them."
He motioned to Mel to continue walking, people stopped tended to cause attention. Something he didn't need more of, "A pretty lady was out alone and I was just going to walk her home." He added. Chivalry it wasn't dead, he was just stupid enough not to carry anything to protect himself with.

-Unlike Melody, Aurora played the information rather coy, neither confirming nor denying the realization that Azzo had come to. She simply listened, letting herself be lead along when they started to move again. Her eyes darted back and forth to make sure noone else had caught wind of their conversation. Cautiously she was trying to take note if anyone seemed to be walking too close to them.
Azzo's explaination seemed good enough, and after a moment she finally spoke, her voice deliberately low.- "It's why I was so upset when we first met." -It wasn't as if she'd really needed to answer.. but perhaps it was smart to throw suspicion off herself. And besides, perhaps it'd give insight to her friend, a verification that she didn't just sit around and cry on park benches on a regular basis.-

She felt a bit better knowing he hadn't purposely gone looking around when it happened. But the point remains he shouldn't have been out at night like that in the first place. With a sigh she moved to catch up to them.
"Sorry, I guess I was just shocked by the news was all," was her apology. "I wish you would have told me before." Wasn't it her right to know what happened to friends and crushes? Suddenly her cheeks stained color and a surge of embarrassment filled her stomach, which made her backtrack just a little.
"I-I mean, so I wouldn't have had such an outburst like that..."

Azzo looked at Melody head tilted sideways. "It wasn't that long ago..." He muttered watching those around him. He was still kind of iffy on the possibility of the Negaverse lurking waiting to get him.
His head pulled back over to Aurora, this seemed to be leading towards Azzo watching a Tennis match, "So that's why..." He said softly, at least he wasn't the only one that knew it hurt like a b***h. However, he frowned at the fact it'd happened to Aurora.
"I was saved by a queen dressed in black." He said softly, "Though... I halfway think laying low would probably be a good idea." He cleared his throat, "I don't really want her throwing me back into a girls restroom." He said softy, it'd been hell getting out of it without being noticed. That was going to be fun to explain as well... He still wasn't sure HOW he got thrown through the Mirror but that seemed the only possible explanation.

-A queen in black? That was different...
Obviously Azzo had seen sailor scouts and the negaverse before, so he hadn't likely mistaken something for a queen, it had to be something completely different. Too bad this conversation wasn't happening under the guise of Sailor Polaris, because she would have loved to ask him more and more. Her queen didn't seem the sort to wear black, but one never knew.
Maybe she would have to find some way to talk to Azzo about it some other time.. It was too valuable information to just walk away from.
Realizing how quiet she'd been and for how long, Aurora brushed at her braids at an attempt to look nonchalant, her eyes glancing at the stores they passed.- "Don't be upset Azzo, it just means people worry about you. There are quite a few of us that would be devastated if something bad happened."

Melody didn't know much about the senshi or negaverse, didn't even know much about a queen either. Or the pain of losing her starseed. All of this was really new to her so she just let him talk.
"Exactly what Aurora said. I'd be very sad if something were to happen to you."

He blinked curiously. Both girls seemed relativity more sedated than when this conversation first started. Also something was catching his attention. "Ohh.... do you guys smell that?" He asked looking for the culprit.
He paused, "Yeah well... if I go out again... I um... invested in pepper spray. At least they'll be blind maybe long enough for me to get away." He chuckled slightly with a shrug, still looking for the source of the food smell. It had to be a shop close by, they couldn't've already passed it could they've?

"It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to pick up some of that myself." -She agreed with a nod. You know.. incase flying trash can lids didn't cut it. Or for the less magical holligans of the world. It was bad news to beat up on civilians even if they were thieves or other sorts of trouble makers.
His question brought her attention to their surroundings, smelling the air tentatively. A mixture of bitter and sweet touched her senses. Something definately smelled like baked goods.. but there were other scents too.- "It might be a coffee shop? Or even one of those candle shops"
-She glanced around lightly for a sign or a shop that matched her guesses.-

"Pepper spray is a good idea," she nodded sagely. Shame she didn't have any, but at the moment she didn't really go any where late at night. Once curfew hit, unless she really needed time to think, she stayed inside.
Then again she didn't know about Aurora's secret life.
"Might also be the Bath House," she chimed in, pointing towards the nearby store filled with all your good-smelling bathroom items. From soaps to shampoos and everything in between, this was a store Melody's mother frequented often.
Playfully she pulled on Azzo's hand, moving towards the store. "Come on, let's see what they got~"

Azzo grinned, "Heh takes a black queen to realize something huh?" He tilted his head softly as Aurora couldn't find it either.
"It makes me hungry." Well that was until Melody said it was a bath house, he blinked, "A bath house? You can't eat that!" He protested as he was pulled along.
He looked towards it and sighed, "Alright, maybe but anything you two talk me into buying is for grams." He said with a chuckle.

"Oooo" -Worries or tension that might have been on her face or mind before were washed away the moment her eyes settled on the bath house. It seemed they'd inadvertantly stumbled upon one of Aurora's favorite hobbies.
Relaxing in a warm bubble bath, getting all pretty and clean and nice smelling.. it was something she could do even with all the things she had piled on her plate. Cleanliness was next to godliness after all, and there was no reason not to go all out with the luxury when it came time for the little indulgence.
Even from the distance her eyes were traveling over the items in the window display as they drew near, trying to recall what she needed and what she had. They could worry about food later, just a few minutes in here.. and maybe a few dollars.-

Melody rolled her eyes, letting Azzo's hand go. "Oh I'm sure we can find something manly for you," she teased. What was it with guys and their aversion to good smelling things?
Reaching the shop door, she held it open to let the other two in first. It was the polite thing to do, really. That and she was debating if there was anything she might want from here. After all this was the place where momma got most of her nice smelling things.

Azzo chuckled, "As long as it's not flowery." He said with a shake of his head following Aurora. "I wouldn't want to get beat up at school."
The place looked pretty nice, and smelled that way too. Just flower smells didn't work for him. He'd follow the girls for now.

-She slipped through the door that Melody was holding, making her way towards the nearest counter. As she browsed she listened, nodding sagely after Azzo's request.
She wasn't exactly what she thought men should smell like.. but flowers was not it. Not to mention how often floral scents were poorly done. Fruits were so much nicer.-
"They probably have something that'd work. If not atleast you'll get a few tips on how to shop for a girlfriend when you have one." -As soon as she'd said it a twinge of curiousity hit her. He didn't have a girlfriend.. did he? Surely he'd have mentioned it by now. But then why didn't he have one...?
Shrugging off the thought Aurora lifted a beautifully decorated jar of honeydew melon scented bath salts, smelling it briefly. Her eyes closed, a sigh escaping her. Heaven.
Aurora most definately wanted it, but she lifted it to the others to smell as well out of politeness.-

Azzo watched and listened as Aurora spoke and walked into the shop. He blinked when she mentioned girlfriend. He hadn't even though about something like that. Eh oh well... the tips in time might end up being lost to the poor boy as it was.
She tilted his head as she sniffed a jar of honeydew melon. He followed suit, just to be a good sport. "Huh.... it almost smells like real honeydew." He said softly, his stomach seemed to agree as it gave a soft rumble.
He chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "Obviously my stomach agrees."
He followed the girls around, sometimes zoning out, and mimicking what they did when asked to smell test. His thoughts however had passed to food.
Thought out the day they seemed to have a rather enjoyable afternoon, it wasn't that bad considering. They finally managed to get food and sedate Azzo's stomach which had been complaining about the lack of food in a store that had a lot of fruity smells.
When the day ended he bid the girls a goodbye and headed off towards his house while they, he supposed, both walked back to Crystal. While it wasn't his normal thing, and he apparently knew way too many girls and not enough guys, it was at least a fun outing. He couldn't get fussed at for not 'chillaxing'.
