Stasia chuckle a little before leaning down to kiss Zee's cheek. "Of course. I'll buy you a milkshake, and even fries if you want some." she said, amused. "So, when do you want to go?" she asked, perching on the arm of the chair.
Aesica thought a moment before grinning. "It's stealing and laying waste in your path, creating a burning road of destruction....." the little fae said, giggling at the thought. Ah, how she couldn't wait to grow older so she could try that out herself!

"Fries sound good too," Zee mused. "I suppose we can go now, if you really want to. Howl'll watch the the kids or something." He supposed he could be content with going--as long as Stasia was there, and he got that milkshake.
Devin looked at his pirate figure before frowning slightly. "But that'th mean," he said. "Why would pirateth do that?" He clearly didn't have a proper understanding of pirates. Pirates were supposed to be cool and find treasure and share it with all their mates!

Stasia smiled, standing back up. "Well then, let's go. The sooner you go, the sooner you'll feel better." she said, smiling as she offered Zee her hand to help him up. Poor Zee.....she was so going to throttle those Azoulais next time she saw them!
Aesica shot her brother an incredulous look. "Cause. That's what they do. How they get treasure." she explained. She'd almost forgotten that this pet was special. Poor boy.

Zee took Stasia's hand, returning the smile; rather reluctantly, it's true. "Only if I get that milkshake, remember," he reminded her. "And no needles. Absolutely none." Not even a milkshake was worth being poked with needles.
Devi blinked, once, twice, no three times. "But Daddy thaid pirateth plunder and get loot and thword fight and all thortth of thtuff!" he explained.

Stasia smiled, helping him up. "If needles have to be used, I'll buy you milkshakes for a month, okay?" she said, trying to bargain with him. He reminder of her kids right now, and it wall all she could do not to laugh at him.
"They do." Ae said, nodding. "They also pillage. How do you think they keep the....keep the ships stocked up?" The small girl smiled, reaching forward to pat her older step-sibling.

Milkshakes for a month? Zee considered it; surely milkshakes for an entire month was worth being poked with a needle. Standing up, Zee gave another smile. "Deal," he agreed. It was lucky that the dark elf had a certain craving for chocolate milkshakes at that point, or Stasia may never have been able to get him out of the house.
"Oh, I thee!" Devin said, allowing Aesica to pat him. "Pirateth pillage cuz they wanna keep their boatth thtocked! And for treathure," he added. "Pirateth luv treathure!"

Stasia smiled at him, nodding. "So, should we go let Howl know before we leave?" she asked, smiling. She couldn't rely on it being like at her house; as soon as anyone said the word "leave", the oldest kids were making sure who was going where and who'd have to babysit.
Aesica smiled; she was so glad she had a well trained pet. "That's right." she said, nodding. Oh, if she had a cookie, she'd so give it to him. Such a smart little pet she'd snared! Special, but smart.

"He probably already knows," Zee said with a shrug. "Howl! You're babysitting!" There was a distant groan in the background, as if Zee had just confirmed Howl's worst fears.
"I figured," the wizard sighed, poking his head out of his bedroom. "They'll be fine with me." He then proceeded to go back into his bedroom.
Devin returned her smile, obviously pleased that he'd gotten something right. "We keep playing?" he asked, hopefully. "Our pirateth can pillage and ev'rything!"
