The streets of Lunaria, were, as usual, quite busy, and filled with various patrons milling from store to store trying to find what they were looking for. At a small dining establishment tucked away between a large inn and a trinket shop, a young man sat at a table, quietly observing those around him. As usual, a sleek, mahogany wood bow with a sapphire blue trim and bright blue feathers sat in his lap. Qián Jianyu brought his cup of tea to his lips, taking a small sip as he took in the sights and scents of the world around him.
What will this night bring, I wonder?

Mmmm. The night air that flowed down the alleys and streets was fresh and crisp. Even through the mask that covered the lower half of her face, the scent struck Mayu deep in her chest. Spring was here and it was everything she had been looking forward to: warm nights and a comfortable breeze.
Walking down the main road, the blue eyed Lunarian peered at the different shops she passed, pondering on whether or not she should stop for a little window shopping or continue on her way home. Catching the scent of the local bakeries, her decision was made; a small meal after her hardcore study session back at the Academy was just what she needed to wind down. Hips swaying in a nonchalant manner, she made her way to the closest eatery to see what they had to offer her.

A cool breeze washed over the busy main street as the orange glow of the retiring sun was shining brightly to warm the dusk air. Cais truly enjoyed early evenings such as these, especially when the previous hours had been spent perfecting artwork and securing trade routes. Graciously when his father had offered him a night away he had accepted, seeking an area worth exploring.
Now casually strolling along, Cais held his hands together and rubbed them lightly. Constantly working near fire had left them calloused and sore. Muttering to himself, Cais glanced at the nearby shops. He had no use for trinkets or charms though an oil or lotion for his hands sounded promising. The squeaking of his stomach was another issue entirely; though now he was wishing he had remained for the family dinner before hustling his way out onto main street. "No good." He muttered, staring down at his hands. They would have to take precedence over his eeriely vocal hunger. He expedited his search and smiled wide. Only great evenings began with a quest and he was curious as to what events would spring forth from the journey.

Ah-Ra Hwang knew it was April. She knew not because she had a twelve-month calendar hung on a loose nail from her closet; but rather from common sense and knowledge gradually obtained from being a citizen of Lunaria. The evening musk was nostalgic, leaving trails of fireflies in jars and seeds of over-ripe watermelons. Spring fever had taken its' toll on the majority of the population, with it's fellow companion whom is frequently called 'wanderlust' followed closely behind. Ah-Ra was not an exception. Her heart was already beating at an abnormal pace, at the prospect of the freedom outside her bedroom window; she could taste the proximity on her tongue. Most of the members of the Hwang clan were dozing off, their dreams revealing concerns of finance, romance, or what have you.
Her decision had already been made when she first lay in bed, not snuggling in her transparent linen night-gown, but impatiently rolling in her day-to-day clothing. Grabbing her coin purse that had been purchased the other day for it had looked more appealing in the afternoon sun. Ah-Ra creaked open the rickety wooden window without a sound. (Not from sheer skill, but from years of experience.) She jumped from the windowsill to the grassy pavilion. Before she departed, Ah-Ra made sure the window was not fully locked, inserting a thin copper key in the corner. (This too, was from trial and error.) Feeling giddy at her audacity, Ah-Ra skipped towards the back door, coin purse in hand. Sultang had been left behind for once. The reason being, the pygmy hog was presently much too enraptured in her reveries of steaming pork and hair-brushing. She'd be back soon.

This was the reason she loved Lunarians so much, Legion or Noble; out of every pore of their being oozed life. Main Street was bumbling with activity, paper lanterns watching from above like wise ancestors. Grrrrrrrrrumble. Oh dear. This called for some soul food. Clutching her money-purse to her heart, she pranced off to the nearest restaurant, maroon eyes squinting for familiar faces. But first, orderrr up! OOC:: This was an old link posted by Koon, but I think it`s lovely, and it does perfectly suit Lunaria, and perhaps this role-play? Asian Dream Song.

Kotone's spirit was waxing and waning as though she was an erratic moon this evening. This day has been bittersweet for her. And one reason this was so was because the feelings of disappointment in herself, prodded at the night before when her mother confronted her, were still lingering. And this was mainly why she taking her stroll after academy classes let out today, to cheer up. Even though lessons went smoother today than usual, her blues returned to her after stepping out of academy grounds and thus she sought respite.
She'd walked these streets many a time, but after her recent transfer into the academy, each of her steps felt like they were into a whole new world. She could not help the smile that spread lightly on her features at the sight of the paper lanterns and ornaments adorning Main Street. Such sceneries were just the right medicine for her disquieted mind. But then again, she sighed because right now she was feeling too ashamed at the option of returning home. True, she did well in her lessons today, but she inwardly admonished herself for why she only seems to notice smoother results after rude awakenings. Effort can be reflected in performance, one should strive for consistency in both, she insisted to herself.
Letting her eyes wander, her tension softened when she took in other Lunarians and their enjoyment. And the cycle of tensing and relaxing repeated for her as she flowed along one of Main Street's currents.
But this too was soon interrupted by her realization of her own hunger, as enticing scents began to engage her curiosity and lure her gaze in the direction of their possible sources. She felt fairly sure there was a restaurant near here that she'd been to before and opted to eat something she's tasted before rather than something new for her next meal.
However, when she stepped inside one of the establishments, she realized she'd entered the wrong place. But when she turned to leave, she bumped into a man. "I'm sorry," she bowed with her apology and was relieved the mishap ended with her just receiving an angry glare rather than the situation turning into a fight.
She exited the restaurant, but then after a moment entered again, it having occurred to her that though this wasn't her original destination, it was still a restaurant as well and so she could have her meal here.
