kittycross I've never encountered such a problem. It sounds like you're just hanging around jerks. The reaction I get is more like "Oh cool! you like Pokemon and _________." Never played in the WOW scence but it sounds fun if you avoid all the sleaze balls and bulls#it. It is like Gaia sometimes in WoW, avoiding sleaze balls is pretty simple but to listen to them cause mayhem in trade chat is amusing to me.

The only reason I go on Smogon is to see potential ideas for a team.
I actually hate competitive battling on any game.
People with no life can just be aw'some and people with jobs have to suffer their arrogance for it.
But I did give Wi-Fi a shot and did win so it's not like I couldn't be aw'some.
I just don't wanna become a p***k because of it.
I hate how the Gaming Discussion on Gaia has basically become a "Rate my Pokemon Team" forum filled with people going "My [insert pokemon here]could wipe that entire team" or "That will never win in Competitive play"
Like seriously, what happen to just playing Pokemon and maybe trying to complete the Pokedex?

Dakcrometes I hate how the Gaming Discussion on Gaia has basically become a "Rate my Pokemon Team" forum filled with people going "My [insert pokemon here]could wipe that entire team" or "That will never win in Competitive play"
Like seriously, what happen to just playing Pokemon and maybe trying to complete the Pokedex? If you don't like competitive play, why would you want people to rate your team?

I had a team of lvl 100s that I wanted critiqued and instead of helping all they did was bash it.
It was obnoxious
