A grudge. This was a relatively strange thing to Chronos; she had always preferred to like people and overlook their faults. This was the girl who loved Zue, the grumpy guardian cat whom sometimes got into conflicts with other Zodiacs, the girl who was one of the senshi who liked Astraea, even when she hadn't been revealed as Luna. She had always been a firm believer that people should get along, until being awakened as a senshi meant you had to be pitted against the Negaverse. Until she saw what evil a human being could do, and the pain he had caused her.
Being a Royal gave one a lot of pressure. Sometimes, Chronos wondered if Princess Serenity had this problem when she was reborn earlier a few decades ago on this planet. "Thank you." Was all she could say to the Guardian Cat, accompanied with a grateful smile, returning the licks by stroking ********* gray fur.
"Wiseman had a cloak and blue eyes that glowed like glowsticks." She said, dredging up her memory from when they invaded her. "And Black Lady Serenity, um... looked like a pink-haired Princess Serenity," and then realizing that ********* probably did not really know what Princess Serenity looked like, racked her brains as she went on with her description. "She had long pink hair, with buns." If she hadn't been holding the cat, Chronos would have put her hands on her head to mimic the Serenity's hairstyle. "And wore a dark dress. They're both dangerous and unpredictable." Unpredictable because the adversaries the senshi knew were the Negaverse, and those two did not work as the Negaverse did.

Oh yes, Chronos was much better at spoiling ********* than Iris was. Oh heck, everyone and their mother was better at spoiling ********* than Iris. She listened to the descriptions, eyes upon the cerise ones, but before she could say anything, another voice chimed in.
"Here's yer f*ckin' corndog, cat!" There was Iris, standing there with a corndog at hand, a less than pleased expression on her face. Without any warning, she just walked straight up in front of Chronos, standing up at her full height, crossing her arms and literally glaring down at the cat. If anything it was a bit intimidating.
Despite her attempts to try and make ********* feel sorry, the manx simply offered "Thank you. I will eat it later!"
Iris literally had to turn herself around so she wasn't sputtering in the shorter girl's face. The cat made her go get a corndog, and now she wasn't even going to eat it right away?! There were several bitter swear words escaping her lips at the moment.
"I apologize for my girl's potty mouth, Chronos. Hopefully you can forgive her."

It was admittedly pretty intimidating to have a taller figure towering over her, but Iris could never beat the most intimidating figure in Chronos' mind; the purple haired man that would forever be the one she had a grudge towards, and only Wiseman came close to that. Having seen much more intimidating things made Chronos only blink up at Sailor Iris, offering her a small smile.
"It's alright." Chronos said demurely, then returned to the subject they were discussing, albeit vaguely. "We've got allies, and are about to discuss a way to deal with the recent threat. I don't think we need to alert the others and cause massive waves of panic, but perhaps they should be told to run away in case they ever meet one of those two."

"Yer such an a*****e, cat!" If it had just been the cat, she would have spat. However, the other girl was seemingly innocent, and even Sailor Iris had a slight sense of manners. No big loogies were going to be spat in cat's direction anytime soon.
Yet, Iris knew. Iris knew that they had been talking about something big while she was away. And this only seemed to get confirmed as Chronos spoke of a recent threat.
So rather suddenly, they had to deal with the senshi of rainbows butting into the conversation. "Ya know, cat, ya ever hear that sayin'... 'secrets don't make friends'...? Ya should try payin' some attention ta it sometime."
********* nose crinkled slightly as her girl scolded her. It was never all that fun getting scolded. However, her nose soon enough unwrinkled itself.
"Well, Chronos. I know it might not mean much, but you have an ally in me and my small team of girls." Small was an understatement. Two senshi hardly could be considered a team if one really thought of it. "Should you accept, I will be debriefing my girls at my own leisure." The manx paused and pointedly looked at the blonde senshi, silently asking is that satisfactory for you?
An indignant sniff was all the cat got from the tallest of the group.

To tell the truth, Chronos and the Zodiacs were pretty much hiding a pretty big secret from the Moon Senshi in hopes that, as she had mentioned earlier, they wouldn't start panicking knowing that a Princess' Great Crystal was missing. They had enough to worry about with youma and the Negaverse and looking for the Moon Princess and all. Still, it wasn't as if Chronos was truly close friends with any of the Moon Senshi to tell them about the threat. At least she had told ********* you." The Princess said with a bow of her head. "I suppose you two have to get going." The green haired girl eyed Iris with a quirked eyebrow as she held out the guardian cat to her asteroid senshi.

For a moment, the cat was just held there in Chronos' hands, pale green eyes looking curiously at Iris. The yellow suited senshi was not very receptive and almost seemed to ignore the obvious.
"Iris, if you could please...?"
Nobody could really accuse Iris of being extra kind. She just looked for a moment longer before moving the corndog from one hand to the other and then picking up the cat as best as she could. It was still a rather awkward motion, and in all honesty, it didn't look very comfortable for the cat. Yet the moment ********* was once again in Iris' arms, the corndog was pushed right into the manx's face.
"Yer holdin' that since it's yers..."
"Fine, fine..."
The cat used her one good forepaw to drag the now lukewarm corndog up against her cast-covered leg. Nodding her head towards the Princess, she said her fond farewells.
"It has been a pleasure speaking with you, Chronos. Please remember my words, and as always, be careful."
Shrugging a bit, the blonde offered "Uh, yeah, see ya 'round, kiddo." She just called the Princess of the Zodiacs "kiddo." Figuring that was all that needed to be said, the girl ran out of the alleyway, back into the crowd. Though ********* began to tear off pieces of the breaded portion of the corndog, there would be no breaks for Iris.
Sooner she finished the patrol, sooner she could get home.
