Waking Lost

He wasn't sure exactly where he was when he opened his eyes, looking around the area that had huge walls that seemed to reach up toward the sky that surrounded him on three sides. The fourth side was rather loud, talking, the sound of cars, the sound of a multitude of footsteps. His dark eyes looked from side to side in confusion and he felt... weak, tired, and a bit on the hungry side... where was he? He pushed up to his feet and plopped back on his backside, looking from side to side in a confused fashion. He gave a little chirping sound as he sought out... something. He felt as though something should be there, something... was missing or out of place and what it was that felt lost was unknown to the little dragon.

There was a fluttering sound of a set of wings and Ryuusei, yes... his name was Ryuusei he realized in a flash, saw a large black bird land in front of him. He gave a sort of peep in response to the sound that it made at him. Oh but that was a big birdy he thought to himself, shuffling a couple of step closer to it... and then jolted back when it went to cawing in a very loud manner that seemed to be calling out to others of its kind. First one more bird appeared, then another and another and another... so many... He was amazed! To see such a sight as one of the first things he got to see after being born into this world.

Of course a moment later he wasn't feeling quite as amazed as he was rather intimidated as there were so many of the dark colored birds, they were all starring at him with dark eyes, and they were seeming to be trying to surround him. He gave an uncertain sound, shrinking down as though he were trying to make himself appear as much, much smaller... and then gave a squeak of surprise as one of the bird lunged forward and tried to grab at his tail. He gave a shake of his head and pulled it back out of attack range, moving off to the side and one of the other bird made a grab for the gem on Ryuusei's forehead... and a moment later they were all getting quite grabby, pecking at him, trying to grab onto him, and when they did get hold of him they would attempt to fly off with their 'prize'.

The only upside to what was happening was the birds were greedy, very much so, and they started to fight among themselves in a rather loud and angry manner. He took this chance to flee... racing away a short distance before something drew his attention back to the mass of birds. There was a dull, lifeless silver star laying there on the ground. The fact that it wasn't sparkly like Ryuusei himself was so the birds seemed to have no interest in it but Ryuu... Ryuu had to have it and he had to have it right now! The dragon raced forward and grabbed up the item in his mouth before he was once more racing off. That he back tracked seemed to get the attention of all of the birds on him once more and it was nothing more then pure luck that saved him as he lunged forward, his little body sliding under a nearby dumpster. He was small enough that he could fit and the birds couldn't... it didn't mean they weren't very determined though as they set to work pecking at him, cawing, scratching, and otherwise trying to attack the little dragon...

It wasn't a very nice way to wake up to the world that was for certain.

Can I Hold Him?: Part One

It was a boring walk home, the dragon was sleeping on his arm and thus he had no one to chat to not that he was really in the mood to chat anyway. What was he doing...bringing the dragon home? He didn't need a pet...didn't want one really...but he felt sorry for it.

He turned the knob that let into the Curio shop and entered, finding a certain blond was already jumping down the stairs two at a time barreling towards him.

"OOOOOH!" The girl shouted as she screeched to a halt, "Sorry Mrrh I thought you were Kay," Roxy apologized giving the older boy a grin. She then lightly moved to give him a hug. For some reason she never tackled him like she did with Kay, he felt his ire rise.

"Sorry to disappoint lil runt," He teased as he lowered his arm to show the girl the dragon in his arms. "Rescued this lil guy earlier, did you want to see?"

He inquired and the girl stood on tip toe to take a look.

"OH MY! IT IS SO CUTE!" She squealed.

Ryuu gave a little jump at the loud voice, dark eyes popping open, and he found himself starring into a pair of bright green eyes. After a moment blinked then gave a wide yawn that ended with a little chirp at her before his tail set to wagging, thumping its crystal star against Mrrh's arm as it watched the girl. He had no idea who she was but he liked her smile, it seemed nice and since the one who saved him was introducing them she must be a person as good as his savior he thought to himself.

Roxy clapped her hands together in delight as it cutely yawned and began to thump its tail,

"OhmygodMrrhcanIpleasepleasepleaseholdit?" She asked in an excited rush looking up to Mrrh with pleading eyes.

The older boy only rolled his eyes, "I dunno runt, " he started as he looked down at Ryuusei. "Whaddya think small fry? You want her to hold you?"

The dragon tilted his head back to look at Mrrh for a long moment, then smiled before giving a nod, rising up on his arm. The time between where he'd eaten and now had been enough that his belly had gone down a bit so he could at least stand up on his own, without just flailing and failing. He smiled at the girl who was wanting so badly to hold him and was all for it, being carried around by Mrrh and now this girl that wanted to hold him... their kindness seemed to help Ryuu forget for a while about the feeling that was inside of him about how he was missing... something as well as the desire to go and find that missing thing.

Roxy was more than just a little thrilled about getting to hold the small dragon, and despite all her energy she was very very gentle when she reached out to grab hold of the small thing.

"Oh my you are just so adorable!" She squealed again holding the dragon gently before she pulled it to her chest and basically snuggled it. She then went to lift it to her shoulder treating it like a ferret.

"Does it have a name?" She inquired tickling under the dragon's chin.

Mrrh shrugged glad that the dragon had taken a liking to Roxy. "No idea. It seems to respond to just about anything though.." he replied as he reached to retrieve the star from his cape pocket to offer it to the dragon.

Ryuu gave a sound much like a purr as the girl took him from Mrrh and hugged him against her chest, then blinked she she held him up by her shoulder. He tilted his head, thinking on it before he crawled up onto her shoulder, wrapping around her so that his tail hung over on shoulder and his hands rested on the other one. He nuzzled against her cheek before looking toward Mrrh, giving a pleased chirp when he handed the star back. He reached out to take it from him and held it in his mouth in a protective manner, the star was after all a very important clue as to what he was missing.

Roxy looked to the star and then back to Mrrh. "Wait...was this a curio?" She inquired with a tilt of her head she peered at the small dragon and continued to scratch it on the head. "It's...not human though..." she sounded confused...as if she was expecting that all curio ended up being kids...not ..a strange little ferret dragon.

"Nah..apparently this one is just a lil dragon." Mrrh stated with a shrug, "I am going to go lay down now..my headache is killing me.." The older boy explained as he put a hand to his temples.
"Okay! Come on .." Roxy looked to the dragon, "Silver! Yeah! Lets go play upstairs!"

Ryuu's eyes took on a look of complete look as he got his head scratched on, tilting his head against the scratching fingers and one of his back feet set to kicking as she found a good spot it seemed. He looked over toward Mrrh when he mentioned that he was going to lay down and spoke of his headache and he gave a little chirp, his tone of voice sounding worried. He didn't want for his savior to be hurting! He looked to the blond girl but she didn't seem as worried as she instead thought they should go play. He cocked his head to one side wondering if that was alright... perhaps laying down was how Mrrh fixed his head he decided then nodded at the girl's suggested. It would seem as though the new name he was dubbed didn't bother him in the least, better the being called Pudgey.

The girl giggled and then went up the stairs two at a time, using a hand to make sure the little dragon didn't get jostled off. She quickly made her way to her bed room and then she went to climb onto her bed and then laid on her stomach to allow the dragon to climb off her if it wished.

"Your sooo pretty, "she crooned looking enviously at the little pretty scales.

Ryuu hopped off of her and landed on the bed, eyes going a bit wide when he bounced in place. He shifted from foot to foot then set about bouncing around on the bed, finding the spring that it gave him to be a whole lot of fun! He had a young mind and even as a dragon he found the things that normal children would fun to be just that, jumping on the bed being one of those things. He squealed and chirped around the star he held in his mouth, eyes wide, happiness shining in his eyes. Fun, fun, fun!

Roxy watched him and giggled a bunch, it was so epically adorable! She wanted to jump on the bed with it, but her much bigger size probably meant she would send him flying. Instead she used her arms like little barricades for him to jump over making it a game.

"your just so cute! I wonder where you came from.....I mean..it would be so much easier if you could talk.."

He took to hopping back and forth over his arm, squealing in a slightly muffled manner as he did so. This was a lot of fun! His tail set to swishing as the faster he went the more fun he seemed to be having. He finally plopped down in front of her, sitting down, gazing up at Roxy when she spoke and he gave a smile around his mouth. He lowered the item down so he could take it in his hands instead before smiling up at the girl, chirping at him. He wasn't sure exactly what she meant by where she came from, did she mean the alley he woke up in?

Roxy looked at the item it put down and she fingered it lightly before she went to scratch the little critter again under the chin. "Who is such a cutey? Who is such a cutey pie? right Silver? You are. You are sooooo adorable I could just hug you forever." She squealed again as she leaned in to give it a small kiss on the forehead. "OH i wish you could talk...you are just...so cute. I bet you would say cute things too.." she mourned though she looked over at her nightstand and then sat up and moved over to it, picking up a piece of bubble gum and set to unwrapping it. She laid back on her stomach facing the dragon.

"Want to see something neat?" She inquired as she popped the pink square into her mouth and set to chewing. After a moment she blue a bright pink bubble.

There was a long, purring sound of delight when she scratched him under the child, letting his eyes close as he got the compliments from the girl that had him purring that much louder. And the kiss would have had him blushing if he could blush, instead he gave a little squeak and ducked his head for a moment before lifting it again, smiling a bit. Her words caused him to gaze up at her, dark eyes going a little wide as he seemed to be debating on that, whether or not that was within his power.

Then she took out some sort of strange object, a pink cube of some sort that she put in her mouth? He gave a crooning sound of curiosity, leaning in closer to her then gave a gasp as the good size bubble appeared from her mouth. He bounced in place before lifting a hand to poke at the bubble in curiosity.

The bubble popped, making a strange mess on her face and she giggled against and using her fingers picked the sticky mess off her lips before she popped it back into her mouth. She set about chewing again,

"Cool huh?" She stated with a giggle, "It's gum, you don't eat it but you chew and make bubbles with it. It's really sticky so be careful," she stated as she went about making an even bigger bubble this time.

He gave a jump backwards when the bubble popped and covered the girl's face. He watched as she gathered it up and replaced it in her mouth before he set to bouncing again before opened his mouth making an 'Ahhhhh' sound. He wanted some of that sticky, bubble making goo as well!

Roxy gave a giggling sound as the bubble popped again she watched as the dragon made the aaaahhhh sound and she titled her head. Looked like he wanted some. But...she only had one piece left!! Oh no...

"Oh...drat...I'm sorry little dragon..I wish I had some more but...that was my last piece..." She felt bad...maybe he...wouldn't mind her..chewed piece?

His dark eyes went a bit wide and his tail set to rapidly swishing behind him before he reached back to the cloud of stars that were gathering around him as he sat in once place for a while. He took it in his mouth then offered it to her, now that was a wish he could do he thought to himself in a manner that was extremely excited! He loved the idea of being able to get her something because she was so very nice! That and she looked so upset over only having one piece left and he didn't want for her to feel bad. The screen that was offered Roxy was green, the same color as her eyes, especially picked for her by the little dragon.

Roxy blinked, watching as the dragon seemed excited all of a sudden and then picked out a green star. Blinking she looked to it and then took it in hand.

It then glowed and suddenly a stick of gum appeared i her hand, then...another...and...another. Soon it kept multiplying until she no longer could hold them all and they spilled out onto the bed.

"WOAH!" She stated a bit startled as finally the multiplying seemed to stop. She blinked and poked at the mound of gum.

"WOW SILVER did you do that??"

Ryuusei gave a rapid nod of his head bouncing that much more excitedly as he realized that he'd done it, he'd gotten her the gum that she wanted, "Yes! I did it! You are happy?" He asked, then froze in place, eyes going rather wide, mouth snapping shut as he tried to figure what just happened. He... spoke? His voice was cute, that of a young boy and were one not looking at him they would almost thing it was a child that was speaking instead of a dragon. He tilted his head to one side and he seemed to try again as though to make sure it wasn't a fluke, "I... talked?" He asked of her, wanting to see if she could understand him.

Roxy also stared at him, her green eyes staring at him in astonishment.
"EEEEEEEEEEE YOU DID TALK!" She squealed as she reached out to take a hold of him and then hugged him.

"That is sooo aweeeesssome!" She continued in a rush, "WE NEED to go show Mrrh!" She stated as she went to slip off the bed.

Ryuusei gave a happy sound as she picked him up and hugged him and he did his best to hug her back, nuzzling against her then gave a squeak as she hopped up off the bed, "Wait! Star! Need star." He said, motioning with one little hand to where his silver star was sitting on the bed, half buried in the gum that she had wished for. He didn't want to leave it behind, didn't want to see it get lost or stolen!

Roxy skidded to a halt, and half turned before she looked towards the pile of gum.

"OH okay," She continued as she dug through the gum and found the star then offering it to the little dragon.

"This is soooo cooooool! Why didn't you talk sooner Silver?" She inquired as she hurried from her bed room to go back downstairs.

He took the star in his mouth in a protective manner, holding onto it tightly as they hurried, "Oud no alk." He said around his star, he didn't understand why all of a sudden he had a voice, it was pretty strange but this was all together helpful. Now that he could talk he would be able to get his thoughts across easier as it seemed tough to try to get stuff across with just the motions of his little hands.

Hello Friend!: Part 1

It was rather early for him to be up given he'd been up late with Roxy playing. She as a very nice girl and he really liked her, would like to stay with her but he felt a pull to go out and find... something. He knew something was lost and he had to find that missing thing before he could be content. He looked toward the door to the room that he'd abandon before he continue to shuffled along as quickly as his little legs could carry him, star in his mouth. He wanted to get moving early, before she woke up, so that she wouldn't come with him. He knew that she would help him, would accompany him on his search, but the more he thought about he knew it was a bad idea. He didn't know where he was going and didn't even know what he was looking for so he couldn't bring his friend along. After all last time he'd been outside he got attacked by crows, he didn't want her to get bothered by such things.

He paused at the top of the steps, pacing for a moment at the top of them before he started to carefully make his way down them. One by one by one, it was a slow going process but he made it to the bottom without falling end over end which was a bonus. He glanced toward the last place he'd seen his savior, Mrrh but decided that he didn't want to wake him up. After all he didn't know if he were feeling better or if his headache had cleared so he should let him rest.

The dark eyes of the dragon looked from side to side and he shuffled forward toward his next big obstacle, how was he supposed to get through his door he found himself wondering as he approached and it seemed to be getting bigger and bigger as he got closer. He sat down in front of it and starred up at it, eyes going huge... his mouth dropped open and the silver star he was holding fell out of it, clattering against the floor.

Kay had gone ahead of Switch, to get to the shop before she could. She really needed to sleep in, and the young Shaman was more than happy to let her. It was quiet, like every morning that he headed to the shop, but the closer he got to it...well, the more he felt something unusual. The young man, being one of the oldest Curios in existence, and being very closely tied with the shop, had a knack for discovering one of his own. He'd gotten used to Roxy, Gera and Mrrh's auras, but there was something very close that was...new. The feeling got stronger the closer he got to the door, and by the time he could put his hands on the knob, he realized that whoever it was was sitting just on the other side."Whoever's sitting there, you might want to back up!" He called in warning, unlocking the door and slowly creaking it open, allowing for the unknown Curio to get out of the way. He peered in, his gaze down on the lifeless little star on the floor before looking around to find the person it belonged to.

Ryuu starred at the door as it announced that he should back up and he gave a squeak, shuffling in a rush away from it quickly so that he wouldn't be hit by it were the thing to try to attack him. His dark eyes got that much wider when it seemed to open up on its own... then he saw someone with dark skin standing there and he relaxed. For a moment there he'd thought that the door was talking to him which would have been just plain strange. His moment of fear, having passed, gave way to worry as he realized he'd left his star behind!

He quickly hurried forward and grabbed it up in his mouth before it could risk getting stepped on then looked up at the one that was standing there, nodding his thanks to him since he had opened the door, then started forward as though that were that and he was leaving. It was a strange sight though that was for certain...

It quickly became apparent that there was no 'person' that belonged to the star, and as Kay watched the little Dragon rummage about, then attempt to leave. The young man was understandably baffled, but before the little thing could leave, he bent over and scooped a hand under it's front legs, hoisting it into the air instead. "Well, wouldja lookit this..." His head tilted, finding this little thing rather...adorable, and light. "How'd you get here little buddy? Get lost? Where's your Mama or Papa?" Kay seemed genuinely interested in the little thing, even caring for it. It was obvious to him that the little Dragon was a Curio, so he was all sorts of careful with it. Reaching out with his free hand, he held it in front of the tiny thing's mouth, looking to collect the lifeless star. "May I take a look?"

The little dragon gave a muffle chirp as he got picked up off of the ground and was moved away from his destination that was outside of the big door. He glanced toward the one that was talking with him and the closer he got to him the more he was quite surprised. He tilted his head to one side, starring at Kay then looked up toward the strange, snake like decoration he wore in his hair, then back again. He listened to him talk before shaking his head rapidly and set to talking... though it was muffled and garbled given his mouth was full. He paused when the hand was held out to him and he starred, uncertain but slowly handed it over. Surely he wouldn't keep it? And if he tried Ryuu could always tell his savior.

"Careful, star is important." He told Kay, watching him closely, tail swishing a little. As he remained in one place for a time a gathering of rainbow color stars started to condense around him like a glittering cloud. The little dragon found himself sniffing at Kay, trying to figure out who he was, someone a similar size to Mrrh he though, somehow similar coloring as well.

Kay seemed surprised when the little Dragon spoke, his curious gaze on the little Curio while his fingers gently closed around the lifeless star. "I know." He assured him; he knew how important it was. "I have one too." Just so he would understand that they were, more or less, the same. Well, from the same place, anyway. Nahual hissed in warning at the little Dragon, his feathers ruffling in distaste. This was not acceptable! No, no other little serpents near Kay! The Shaman rolled his eyes, putting all of his weight on one foot to lift a knee, setting the little Dragon on his knee, his now free hand reaching into his pocket to get out a rubber band, managing to force it onto Nahual's jaws, keeping the nasty little serpent from biting. "My name is Xbalanque, by the way. Kay is easier if it helps." He offered, scooping the little Dragon up to put him on his own shoulder; his left shoulder, the on the human half of his face. "Whats your name?" He asked curiously, opening the hand with the star in it, looking it over.

Ryuusei's eyes got wide when the new person said that he had one too. He had a star?! His eyes got wide and his tail started to wag so rapidly that the blue star at the end was just a blur, "You have star?!" He must know why it was important then, what the clue pertained to, and how he could use it to find his missing something! His train of thought was derailed at the hiss he got from the snake and he gave a squeak of surprised, scooting back a step in surprise, seeming to not understand why the snake didn't seem to like him. The hissing of the angry snake seemed to be fixed a moment later as his jaws were tied close. He starred at the creature, ducking down a little bit where he was perched as though to make himself seem that much smaller before he was being picked up again, to sit on his shoulder as Roxy seemed to like to carry him.

His tail started to swish again and the snake was, for the moment, forgotten and he nuzzled against Xbalanque in an affectionate manner before settling down on his shoulder, tail wrapping around Kay's neck like a glittering piece of jewelry, "Ryuusei, Roxy calls me Silver, and Mrrh... he calls me Pudgy." He gave a little pout at that, at least he wasn't so pudgy anymore as his food had time to digest so his belly was no longer big.

A star? What wa---oh! "Well...no. Mine's not a star, mine's a mask. But it's important to me like this is important to you!" He clarified with a laugh, shutting Nahual up and letting the little Dragon have free reign of his shoulder. The nuzzle received a little giggle, and the way the tail wrapped around his neck didn't seem to bother him at all...luckily. Ah, so he'd met Roxy and Mrrh, at least...well how could he not, with him stuck inside the shop and all. "Well that's not very nice of Mrrh, now is it?" Kay hummed; he wasn't the biggest fan of Mrrh to begin with, and it probably showed. To date, the Shrunken Head was the only living person he'd ever had ill feelings towards. "Well, Ryu, s'nice to meetcha...but what were you doing in here all by yourself eh? Where's your Guardian....s?"

Ryuu seemed to slump a little bit, it wasn't a star? He tilted his head to the side at the mention of the mask and how it was important to Kay in a manner that the star was important to Ryuusei so that had him relaxing a little bit as well as perking up. He gave a little smile, "Its alright, was a bit... fat when Mrrh said it. Ate a big burger and got a big belly." He explained, giving a little purring. He seemed to miss that Kay didn't like Mrrh, probably because he wasn't really looking for it.

"Mrrh brought me here." He explained, tail thumping against Kay as it wagged, "Then played with Roxy until we went to bed. Was going out today, look for my missing thing."

At the question about his guardian or guardians he seemed to stare at Kay in a slightly uncertain manner trying to determine what a guardian was, head tilted to one side thoughtful. It sounded like someone that guarded you in some manner, "My... guardian...? Oh! Like Mrrh? He guarded me! Chased away the mean birds that were trying to steal stars." He said, nodding.

Aaaaah this thing was so cute! He listened to Ryuusei's story, piecing it together...which was a good thing, because at the end he would have been rather confused. But as it were, he seemed to understand a few things; that Mrrh wasn't his Guardian, he'd just found the little thing, but that someone else out there was. Or was supposed to be. Curious! "No, no not like that...I mean, your Parent, the person you reached out for." He tried to clarify, opening up his hang again to view the small star; he could tell this item was a Fallen Wish, but to date, with the exception of one other, someone had been there to take the item out of the store. Somehow, Anon's scenario seemed different from Ryuusei's...not that he knew Ryuusei's for sure. "Hey, do you carry this in your mouth all the time?"

He seemed to think on it a little harder. Not Mrrh then, his parent? He tilted his head to one side that much farther, thinking hard enough that it was a surprise that there wasn't steam coming out of his ears before he finally said, "No parents." He told him, "I was alone aside from the mean birds, Mrrh saved me." He explained.

He looked toward his star for a long moment, looking a bit thoughtful before he gave a little shrug of one tiny shoulder, "It is my important star, star is clue to my missing something." He told Kay with a smile, the star was going to help him to find that missing thing though he had no idea quite yet what it was that he was missing. All that he knew was something felt as though it were innately missing and the only time he could forget the feeling for a time was when he was kept distracted by Mrrh, Roxy, and now Kay. He rather liked making friends for that very reason, "Was going out now, looking for my missing thing."

"Huh." Kay was...baffled, to be honest. No item ever left the shop without someone to see it out; again there was one exception, but that seemed more like the shop had intercepted and kicked it out. Besides, aside from the gift-giving earlier in the year, the shop thus far hadn't produced a Curio after hours. "Wouldn't know where to start with that, it's kind of hard to find something when you don't know what it is." Which...was a rather interesting predicament to be in! He tilted his head, wondering what kinds of things HE wanted to find that he didn't know he needed. "That's quite the tough one you've got there, little buddy. Wish I could help." He said honestly, reaching up to pat the little thing on the head. "Well...I suppose I could find a little bag for you, to keep your star in. Would that be okay?"

Ryuu lowered his head to let it rest for a moment on Kay's shoulder, darn... he'd hope that Kay would be able to figure what it was that he was missing since he said he had an important item as well. He seemed thoughtful for a moment, tail thumping against his new friend's shoulder as he considered his next move. His head lifted quickly as he heard the wish, debating over it... not one that he could do he realized after a moment. After all he couldn't grant a wish that wasn't specific, couldn't compel someone, and couldn't give him information that even Ryuu himself didn't have.

"Its alright, will find my missing things soon." He said, sounding optimistic even if going out seeking something that could be anything was rather tricky, "Bag?" He looked interested about the idea of a bag, perking up a bit, thinking on it, then nodded, "Would be nice." At least then he wouldn't have to keep his star in his mouth since that made talking about hard.

Hunting Lessons

(( Ryuu goes hunting with Tireu and Arlen ))

Finally he had gotten the triplets to be ok with him not being at home by putting Manami in charge of her siblings and he hoped that was the right choice to do, but Arlen had complained that he wanted to go hunting with him, but Tireu thought that the triplets were just a tad too young to go hunting and he didn't even know if they would enjoy it like he and Arlen did. Arlen was so very happy as he got to finally go out hunting with Tireu as it had been a long time since they had done it last and sometimes hunting by yourself got boring sometimes. "So Tireu were are we going to go hunt today?" He asked as Tireu thought for a second as he considered were would be the best place. "I was thinking about hunting in the forest as hog sounds really good right now," Tireu answered as he transformed into his dragon form as it was quicker to fly to the forest to were he wanted to go hunting as other wise it would be a bit of a walk. "Get on, Arlen. We will fly to the location," he added. Arlen got very excited as he loved flying on Tireu as it was an amazing site to see the land from above and got on. Tireu just chuckled as he leaped into the air and flew above the town towards the forest on the other side.

Ryuusei was on his way in basically an arbitrary direction as he set out to try to find where his 'missing thing' was. He didn't know what he was looking for and he didn't know where he was looking for it, he just knew that somewhere in the big, wide world was the thing that was calling out to him. The little silver being was happily shuffling along on the ground, his little feet taking him along as quickly as was possible and he was smiling happily.

The little dragon was certain that today was going to be a good day, that today would be the day when he found what he was looking for! Of course it would appear as though his luck didn't hold up to what his optimism had hoped for as it would appear as though the animals out there were still after him for some reason... what was it with him and strays?! He looked up at the big mouth of the dog that was standing over him as he came around the corner and nearly walked into his mouth. He starred... his eyes got wide, and he turned around to rushed forward as fast as was possible, weaving between people, under anything he could use to slow the giant beast down, and without realizing it he to was heading toward the forest...

Tireu loved gliding when he came above the town as it was interesting to see the people do the thing that they knew they were doing as he like to guess to what they were doing, but today wasn't the day to chase people around, but a hunt. Just as he was leaving the town and towards the forest he spotted something odd to him and saw that it was going into the forest that they were going to hunt. "Arlen, hold on I'm going to dive as I spotted something interesting," he said as he was gauging everything around. "Woot!!," he said excitedly as he held onto one of the spikes and make sure that he wasn't near another just in case of a crash landing. "All set," Arlen added with a huge smile on his face. Tireu gave no other waring as he folded his wings to his sides and hurdled towards the silver thing that got his attention.

Ryuusei caught sight of the large... thing that was coming out of the sky because it had blocked out the sunshine. The little dragon froze as he found himself between that giant thing coming from the sky and the dog that was still trailing after him. He looked from side to side, looking for something to hide in or behind and then hurriedly shuffled toward a large tuft of grass and dove into it with a squeak, pulling all of himself into it though it would appear that the dog knew exactly where he was since it was coming toward him still. Its heavy breathing and growling had the little dragon shaking and whimpering, what was it about strays that made them dislike him so much?

Seeing that there was a dog that was heading for what he wanted to look at as he was diving down and snapped his wings open at the very last second making a sound of popping. Landing right over the spot to what he wanted to look at very graceful and carefully. As he turned his head towards the dog and have a huge roar as Arlen stayed put for the time being.

The stray beast seemed to freeze in place at the roar then turned and ran off, tail between its legs howling and yelping the entire time as though it had been scared that badly. It planned on running until it couldn't run anymore just to make sure that it got away from the big monster that had come from the sky.

Ryuusei peeked out of the grass, starring at the huge... thing that was standing there. He lowered himself down to the ground before he slowly slipped out of the grass and shuffled slowly to the side so that he could attempt to see a better what this giant thing was. Ryuu himself was only a foot long so he was nothing size wise compared to this new being... and he could only hope that it wasn't planning to eat him like that dog seemed to want to do.

Tireu smirked as he dog ran and though that they made yucky eating as he let it run as he wanted hog to eat. He looked between his legs and giggled he saw it was very cute and small. Moving over to were Tireu could get a better look as he moved his head towards the little dragon. "Aren't you a cute," Tireu said as he tried to not look as threatening as he could. But just then Arlen peaked over Tireu's shoulder to get a look when he heard Tireu talk. Arlen spotted to what Tireu was looking and and zipped off his back and was standing near Tireu's head. "Your right, very cute!!"

Ryuu gave another squeak when the large creature spoke, that was... amazing! His tail set to lashing so fast that the blue star at the end looked like a blur, "Wow! You are big!" He said, shuffling closer to one of Tireu's feet, lifting one tiny foot to poke at the foot that was large enough that it made him look quite tiny. He grinned then turned his attention toward the smaller being that had been riding on this big male. He cocked his head to the side before he trotted over toward Arlen. This one was smaller then the other by a good amount but he was still huge compared to Ryuu himself.

Tireu gave a little chuckle as the little dragon was so very cute and a very nice color too. "That I am," he answered. As Tireu saw that Arlen was of of him he decided to shift back to his humanish form with his tail still being there but to match his body size. "So do you have a name little one?" Tireu said. As Arlen watched the little dragon.

Ryuusei plopped back on his backside, eyes wide as he watched in complete fascination as the dragon went from a giant beast to a man... Wow! He wanted to do that he thought, tail swishing behind him rapidly. He gave a nod at the question, "Ryuusei is my name." He told these two people, studying them closely. They were nice people he tell, if they weren't it was likely that they would have already eaten him instead of saving him from the dog.

"That is a very lovely name you got there Ryuusei," Tireu said. As Arlen went up to Tireu and pulled on his sleeve. "So are we still going to be going hunting?" he wined a little as he did want to go hunting but found Ryuusei neat. "Be nice, Arlen" Tireu hissed. "We will go soon," he added. "Sorry about that. I'm Tirueu and that my son Arlen," he said to Ryuu. "So would you like to join us on our hunt?"

Ryuu tilted his head to one side, lifting up on his back legs and waved one little hand, "I don't know if I would hunt well." He said, he wanted to go, really wanted to go but... he didn't know if he would be of any help to these who were so much bigger and well equipped then he was. His tail swish behind him, "I... want to go but... am small." He explained to them then shuffled a little closer and climbed up on Tireu's foot, hands resting on his leg. The little dragon was wearing a small bag on his back that could be seen easier and easier the closer he got, a cute pack that carried his silver start in it since it was a very important item. The bag was a gift from Kay and made it so he didn't have to carry the item in his mouth, already it was a super useful thing to have.

Tireu just smiled as it didn't matter the size of ones body but the heart. "Its doesn't matter, you have to start some where to get better in the long run." He said as he picked up Ryuu and put him onto his shoulders. "Size doesn't always matter. You can get into places that I could never get into," Tireu said. "That's right. You can always make a close sneak attack with out anyone knowing the wiser, until its too late." Arlen added as he started to sniff around looking for clues to what they were hunting. Tireu reach behind him to were his tail was and pulled out some of his dragon tail hair and scales. "This is for you to keep the dogs off of ya. I don't think that they would bug you with my scent," he said as he hand it to Ryuusei.

Ryuusei gave a happy sound as he was lifted up and put on Tireu's shoulders, feeling massively tall up here and it had his tail swishing again as it was the highest up he'd gotten to perch so far, "Size... doesn't always matter?" He asked, eyes widening before he gave a happy sound. That they thought he would be useful to what they were doing even though he was so tiny compared to them made the little dragon so very happy. He gave Tireu a little nuzzle before he took the items he was offering, "It will help? Thank you!" He set to work carefully tucking the items into his backpack for safe keeping.

"That is right, even for your size you can do what ever you want. You just have to think differently than ones that are bigger to accomplish what you want," he said as he walked into the forest as Arlen picked up a little trail of the boars and followed the trail. As he knew Tireu would follow him and know that he would get the pray to him as that is what he loved to do the most with his guardian. Tireu smiled when he was nuzzled. "It should as even in my human form, dogs tend to stay away from me. Its because it would be considered that I be one of the top predators and little predators are scared of the bigger ones and your welcome," he said as then Arlen tail started to wag and very quickly zipped off. "Well you better hold on as Arlen when to bring the pray to us and it will be here soonish,"

That made sense, if someone smelled a dangerous predator they would want to stay away from it he thought to himself then gave a nod, "Thank you." It would be useful in helping him to keep safe while he was looking for his important thing he thought to himself as he wrapped himself around Tireu's neck like a very expensive piece of silver jewelry. He wasn't so tight that he would risk hurting him in anyway but enough so that he wouldn't fall off, "I'm ready."

In the distance the sound of squealing could be heard as Arlen herded them towards them as it was hard to do, so some of the boar had to be poked into running and not come back to hurt Arlen in which he would just dodge those attacks. "Ok," Tireu said as the sounds came closer and closer. Just then a blur of motion came by as it was Arlen running by as a signal to Tireu that they were coming. Out of the bushes then now very mad boars came out charging at full force at Tireu, but in a fast motion Tireu has killed the two boars that were charging him as the rest of them had turned tail and ran off. "Woot!" Arlen said as he came back to the kills and started to dig into one of them. "So have you tried very fresh meat, Ryuusei?"

Ryuusei's eyes got huge as the one he was clinging to took out the two massive boars as thought hey were nothing, "You are amazing!" He said, sounding in complete and total awe of Tireu, as though the other dragon was bar none the coolest thing that he had ever seen in his entire life! Though given his life had consisted of only a day so far it was a little biased toward Tireu since nothing else had a chance yet. He looked down at Arlen and shook his head, "Mrrh bought me a burger and Roxy gave me some gum." He said, not having had anything else other then that so far.

'I'm not amazing I just know how to kill them quick before they get me, this animals are very tame compared to the ones back home." he said thinking to the creatures of the fire pits that he had to hunt very scary creatures. "Well its good and good for you. I don't like the dead meat that most of this town likes, but then his is how I ate when I was a young one too," he said as he carved up the other hog and ate the most delicate part first as they were his favorite and he liked them hot. But after he had ate those he carve up a little meat of the softer part for Ryuusei. "Here you go. Eat a little bit of it first to see if you like then I can always give you more," he said giving the meat over. "Tireu, I told you that we should have brought the spices," Arlen said between his munching. "Why mess up the true taste of the meat with spices. As I see they are only to cover up spoiled gross tasting meats," he said as he was eating some of the meat too. "Well its good!" Arlen said in a pout "At least I wish I had garlic salt," he said in a sorta mumble as that was one of his favorite things to add to the meat that made it taste so wonderful.

Ryuusei looked at the small piece that was handed over to him, held it in his little hands, sniffed at it, then stuff it into his mouth and chewed. It was good, really, REALLY good... while the burger and fries that Mrrh had gotten to him was tasty and filling this was indescribable. He chewed slowly, tail swishing, and then swallowed before he set to purring, "Wow... that is sooo tasty!" He said, hopping up and down for a moment on Tireu's shoulder. In fact he was about to ask for more when the two set to discussing spices. He wasn't quite sure what they were but one seemed to lie and the other not so much. He glanced over at Arlen, eyes going wide... then he hurried across Tireu's shoulder, set himself up, and jumped from Tireu to Arlen.

Once he got to where he was going he reached over to take hold of one of his stars, deciding upon a purple one and held it out to Arlen so that the raptor boy could take it from him. He looked quite excited about the prospect of sharing the item with him as he was smiling around it, eyes shining, and tail was wagging.

Tireu just had to smile at how Ryuu love the meat when he was bouncing on his shoulder and knew he had converted another to what was the best way of eating meat. But was surprised that the little dragon could jump very well. Arlen's eyes went wide to see that Ryuusei was handing him one of the stars to him and when he took the star it turned into a bottle of garlic salt and that make Arlen very happy and his tail started to wag. "That was very neat Ryuusei and thank you!!" Arlen said as he carved up a nice sized piece of meat for Ryuu and sprinkled just a little bit of the spice on the meat and then cut it up very quickly into bite size pieces for Ryuu to munch on and after they ate Arlen thought to give Ryuu some of his feather hairs.

That he seemed to be so happy over the bottle of 'garlic salt' as it was called made Ryuusei quite happy. He didn't know what the stuff was but it must be something that Arlen really liked he decided, then watched as the other set to work at preparing some meat, spicing it as well as cutting it up into small piece. He grinned then set to work munching on them. Granting wishes, even simple ones, had there effect on him. It made him a bit sleepy but the food helped to balance out the tired feeling that was invoked in him... of course as he really got himself stuffed full of the tasty food he felt himself getting tired again though for a completely different reason then before.

Arlen was the first to finish his meal as he zipped off to a near by stream to wash up and carefully put the bottle of garlic salt in is pocket as he didn't want to lose it as it was a nifty little gift. All clean of the blood Arlen saw that Ryuusei looked sleepy and scooped him and held him tight as he thought Ryuu was the cutest thing he had seen and very beautiful too. "So are we heading home?" Arlen asked. "No we have to find were Ryuu, lives first to get him home. Unless Ryuu you want to hang with us for a little as I'm going to take Arlen and myself to a warm place to sleep and you are welcome to join us," Tireu said as Arlen was happy as that is all that he wanted to do was to sleep in the warm sun.

Ryuu gave a little yawn as Arlen picked him up to hug him, "Mmm... doesn't have a place to live. Staying with Roxy and Mrrh when I go back there." He told them, "Looking for my missing thing." Ryuu didn't have parents as it seemed that everyone else did, he was born alone and he had lost something... though what he was missing was a mystery to the little dragon. He nuzzled against Arlen in a sleepy manner, his dark eyes closing. He was trying to stay awake but it wasn't exactly working out for him very well.

"Well you can stay with us if you like for as long as you need," Tireu said as Arlen was giving him the puppy dog eyes that he could never resist. Arlen squeeed as he gave Ryuu a little nuzzle. As Tireu shifted back to his dragon form and Arlen climbed on and Tireu flew off to the warm sleeping rocks to sleep of a little of the food they had eaten. "You will find what you lost, just have faith in yourself and it will come to you," Tireu said flying high in the sky and Arlen holding onto Ryuu and on to Tireu.

Sleepy Dragon

He must admit that it was a lucky break that Tireu and his family lived in Durem as it was the same city that the shop was located at in which Mrrh, Roxy, Gera, and Kay could be found. He half wanted to go back there for a break but he had yet to find any clues as to the whereabouts of his missing thing. He was... looking for a needle in a haystack... no, worse then that. He was looking in a haystack the size of the world for a needle that might not be a needle at all. He had no idea what so ever about the identity of what he was missing and it had him a bit on the depressed side as he wandered down yet another street. He couldn't go back there, he hadn't found even the smallest of clues and going back now meant going back empty handed. It was bad enough he'd spent some of the time he should have spent on his search with Tireu and his family, he was already behind enough and that had just made it that much worse.

"Where are you, 'missing something'." He murmured to himself as he looked around. Everything seemed far to big and he seemed far to small, he was a bit on the tired side, it had been some time since he'd eaten so he found himself hungry, and he wanted nothing more then to drape across someone's shoulders and let them do the walking for him. He glanced from side to side before sighing a bit. It wasn't going to work, the more he hoped for someone to come along that he knew the less likely it seemed that it would happen. It was starting to get a bit on the dark side, the sun was going to set soon and he still had no idea where exactly he was or where he was going.

He was walking along when he got a strange prickling of déjà vu that made him freeze in his tracks. He looked around the area that he was standing at before he seemed to slowly sink in where he was. The little dragon swallowed hard then started forward into the alley way, looking around. He knew... he knew this place. He was born here he thought to himself, he had opened his eyes for the first time here, took his first breath and steps here, and this was where he had experienced loneliness for the first time before Mrrh had come along. He trotted forward to take everything in and then laid down on his side in about the same spot he'd appeared in when the Fallen Wish and the power of Balcombe Curiosities had caused him to manifest. His tail thumped against the ground in a somewhat pathetic manner as he found himself starring at the entrance to the alleyway. He had a feeling that if he waited here someone was going to come here, someone was going to pick him up and bring him home.

The only problem being was that while he was out and about with Mrrh and the others that person who was planning to come back here to find him already had, Ermingild had returned to the alleyway and searched it high and low for the missing Fallen Wish that Switch had given to him. He'd searched and searched, looking under, behind, and on top of everything for hours before finally given up, convinced that the item, which had been a rare gift given over to him instead of him giving it to someone else, had been stolen.

Ryuusei let his eyes close and he was slowly drifting off in the middle of the alleyway. He was so sleepy, his little feet could only carry him so far after all and his shape was a bit awkward which made it only that much more difficult to get from place to place. A tiny nap he told himself, a tiny nap and then he would move on from this alleyway and continue on his search for his 'missing thing' where ever it might be.

Deimos found himself wondering if he should bring the animal that he'd found to a vet or something, it had draped itself around his shoulders before passing out and hadn't woke up. The thing snored a lot, twitched, and growled in its sleep but aside from that it mostly just sort of laid there like an ornate sort of necklace, "I wonder if we should go to the animal doctor... do you know where one is, Gigan?" Gigan was a cat so surely he would know where they should be going?

The cat looked up at him, tail lashing, and looked a little on the jealous side. He didn't much care for the fact that his Deimos had gone off and gotten himself another pet. A small, pathetic, and strange sort of beast that trailed a cloud of stars behind them as they walked which confused him, something about the scent the thing gave off as well. He gave a sighing sound then mewed at Deimos, tail swishing. He didn't know where one of the hospitals was but he figured they could find one if they tried hard enough.

"No?" Perhaps he was spending to much time with his cat as he was starting to understand a bit to much of what the cat told him... Deimos lifted a hand to pat the little dragon on the head, "We will figure it out." He assured him.

Mrrh was wandering, it wasn't unusual that he was doing this. Perhaps cause he was so fidgety. He didn't like staying still in one place long..it tended to get on his nerves. SO it wasn't terrible surprising that he was meandering down the streets looking bored and annoyed at the same time. God. He liked the girl, but she could never talk about anything but Kay this and Kay that..would Kay like this? Ug...sometimes he just had to leave to escape the world that seemed to revolve around Kay.

He growled a bit rubbing an eye as something got into it, his dagger was tucked neatly into a secret pocket in his furry cape. He hadn't changed his clothing much since he had arrived to this place...oh well.

The little dragon opened his dark eyes, glancing around the area, and then gave a little yawn. It took it him some time to realize that he didn't know exactly where he was and that he was... moving? He gave a sort of confused sound and then rose up a little bit as he tried to figure out what had happened. He'd been... napping in that alleyway that he'd found his way back to because it had started to get dark during his exploration. Now he was with someone else? He didn't know this person, just saw that he had pretty, flower colored hair. He gave a yawn and then a little chirp at the one carrying him, then his cocked his head to one side.

Deimos looked down at the little dragon for a long moment then smiled, "How are you doing?" He asked, no longer paying much attention to where he was going, "You were laying in an alley, thought that you needed a hand." He explained to the one that he was carrying.

Mrrh continued walking, having no goal or aim in his mission to just keep moving. He rounded a corner looked at a boy with rather PINK hair and then did a double take. Was that Ryuusei? It was...he had wondered where that little dragon had gone off to. "Hey Ryuu!" he called out from the across the street giving a bit of a wave to the pair. He had to wonder..maybe the dragon played helpless to get free foood...

Ryuusei lunged up to his feet on Deimos's shoulder at the sound of the voice, looking around rapidly before giving a little chirp of delight, "Mrrh!" He called out, seeing the way that the boy started to come across the street toward them.

Deimos gave a jump of surprise when the dragon on his shoulder spoke, more so the name that he'd used. Mrrh...? He knew that name? Deimos turned quickly to face the one coming toward him then took a couple of quick steps back. Oh no, no... what were the odds of this? That he would accidentally run across the one that Gera had warned him about? The same one that he said even Kay didn't trust? How scary... though as he seemed to be readying to flee the dragon seemed to want to go to the other guy. He took a lunging jump off of his shoulder... and Deimos gasped and caught him before he could hurt himself doing such a crazy jump.

Mrrh laughed watching as the dragon seemed to be trying VERY hard to get to him. He was glad the boy he was on had common enough sense to grab him.

"Keep doing that and your going to break something one day.." He stated as he then noticed the boy backing up from him. Strange..."stop pretending as if you can fly Ryuu." He continued as he noticed the giant cat as well. Did this guy just collect strays?

Deimos looked down at the squirming dragon that he'd caught before hugging it to his chest and took another step back, "Ahh..." He seemed to be trying to find his voice, to find the right words to deal with this situation, "Y-You... are Mrrh...?" He asked, he seemed... scary to look at, his red eyes and the way his mouth looked. It seemed odd to him that the little animal was so happy to see him. Maybe... maybe, "This is... your pet?"

Ryuu gave a slight pout, squirming ceasing as he looked up at Deimos, he wasn't a pet! His tail ceased its swishing and he looked over to Mrrh again, hands flailing in his direction, reaching out toward him, "Mrrh! Hungry, go and get food?" He asked, his stomach giving a little rumble. The only thing really wrong with him aside from the fact that he looked in desperate need of a bath was the fact that he was soooo hungry! He'd only eaten once since he'd left the shop and now he was about die from the hunger!

He cocked his head to the side when he was addressed, "Yeah..." He replied slowly, "Do...or rather should I know you?" He inquired as he took another step towards the pair. Without even trying he seemed to give off a rather hostile aura which quickly dissolved at the dragon's question.

Turning to look at him he sighed his shoulders sagging in a mocking gesture.

"What are you a dragon or a pig? You eat a lot.." He stated looking away, obviously teasing the poor thing.

The pink haired boy took another step back away from Mrrh, "Ahh... I-I... see." He said, looking him over, he was a frightening person wasn't he? Was that why Kay and Gera didn't like him? Or at least Kay, Gera didn't like him because he was always hanging out with Roxy... which was a little odd he didn't seem the sort that would hang around with someone like the blond girl and the fact that the little dragon seemed to like him was odd as well.

Ryuu wiggled and squirmed until he was able to escape from Deimos's grasp and slipped down to the ground and quickly shuffled over to Mrrh, seeming as though he wasn't at all bothered by the teasing. He lifted up on his back feet to rest his forefeet on Mrrh's leg, gazing up at him in a hopeful manner, as though Mrrh could magically summon food out of no where or something...

Mrrh looked to his nails, still making fun of the dragons plight it seemed, he then looked down at the dragon when he seemed to be begging for attention or food. He wasn't sure which.

"What?" He asked as he knelt down to pick the dragon up and let him crawl onto his shoulder, "Do you think burgers grow on trees?" He sighed and then looked to Deimos. "Don't suppose you have any money on you?"

Ryuusei gave a happy crooning sound when Mrrh finally picked him up and he happily wrapped himself around the dark skinned boy before settling down on him, nuzzling against him happily. He tilted his head to one side, looking thoughtful, "Do... burgers come from the same place as deers?" He asked, he'd gone hunting for one of those with someone named Tireu recently and he wondered if they were the same thing. He had no idea what burger was made of...

Dei watched, confused, as the little dragon wrapped itself around the one called Mrrh and he decided that the little thing had to be his pet. There was no other way to explain how it was acting around him, he must have gotten lost... poor thing, he knew what that was like and it was no fun at all, "Ahh... huh?" He gave a quick nod of his head, not wanting to upset Mrrh. He dug into his bag, deciding that it was better to give him the money then risk getting beat up for it.

Gigan gave a sighing sound and shook his head, watching as Deimos held his money out to the scary look boy. That was supposed to buy lunch for all of them not just that silver snake that belonged to this kid that was insisting upon scaring his Deimos...

Mrrh looked over to his offered hand quickly estimating the amount there, "Good good you think you can buy this runt something to eat? I don't have any cash on me..and i doubt he'd want to gnaw on my fingers..." He stated with a sigh and another shrug as if deliberately trying to off balance the nuzzling thing. He wasn't quite use to attention of that sort.

"I don't eat by the way...and what's your name? Don't believe I caught it..." hes stated his red eyes baring onto the pink haired boy.

He nodded rapidly, "I-I can buy him food... W-Was gonna get some soon for G-Gigan and myself too." He said when he found himself pinned by the guy's gaze, he was so scary! He was just a little unsure if he was scary because everything was scary to Deimos or if he scary for real... not something he was good at figuring out, "D-Deimos... I'm Deimos and that is Gigantes." He motioned with his hand toward his cat who was glaring at Mrrh currently with his good eye.

The star ended tail started to swish rapidly at the mention that he was going to get food! Hurray!

Mrrh nodded his head wondering what the boy's problem was stuttering like that. Maybe it was a condition...he hoped he didn't catch it. He gazed down at the cat and wondered how he got that name..even if it fit him very well.

"Gigantes? Good name.." He stated with a nod, "Hey you Ryuusei...you can stop nuzzling me now...you can thank him for the food when you get it.."

Deimos lowered his hand that was holding the money when it seemed that the other guy wasn't going to take it away from him, so he wanted him to... what? To go and get the food to bring it to the dragon? Or was he supposed to go with them to where the food was? Neither idea was one that he found to be ones he wanted to go along with but... he supposed he could if he had to. Better then making this person into an enemy of his, "Where... are we g-getting the food?" He asked.

"Ok, Mrrh." Ryuu said, ceasing his loving on of his friend. He settled down on his shoulder to watch Deimos in an eager manner, "Get burgers! Oh! Fries too?" He asked, excited over the thought of getting more of that tasty stuff he had last time.

Mrrh rolled his eyes and then looked around and spotting a fast food place just around the corner...the sign was a big yellow COME BUY ME sort of sign. "There is as good as any," he stated as he reached forward to take the guys shoulder to turn him to see the spot he was then pointing to.

"yeah yeah Ryuu just don't choke on them again okay?" He warned the small dragon.

Dei seemed to stumble for a moment as though his knees were about to give out under him, it took everything in the boy to keep from passing out right then and there on the sidewalk... he gave a little whimper and pulled in a deep, shaking breath. This was so scary! Why did the guy insist upon suddenly have to be so hands on?! He found himself wishing that Gera were here... this was almost as bad as when he had to deal with that scary dragon... the big one at least. The little silver one wasn't so bad aside from the company he kept.

The way that Dei wobbled had Gigan moving, he gave a hissing sound and he lunged, taking a couple swipes at Mrrh with his sharp claws before hissing again... and his hissing had Ryuu upon is feet, eyes wide, body puffed up in shock, "No! No, bad kitty no eat Mrrh!" He told it grabbing on of his stars out of his cloud and spat it at Gigan. The colorful star bounced off the cat causing it to look up at the dragon with a wide gold eye before Gigan set to growling at the silver animal that he already had little love for.

Mrrh felt the cat scratch him..it was a good thing he liked pain..it stung though and drew a little blood. Hissing back as the cat he was trying to support the kid who seemed ready to pass out on him.

"Hey hey wopooah there..."He tried to shoulder him and half drag him...he looked around AHA a bench. He supported him to the bench best he could.

"Hey Ryuu it's okay, it ..only stings a little bit...help ******** I wish I had some water...maybe he is dehydrated.."

Deimos would likely be upset with the fact that he was leaning so heavily on the guy that he'd been warned about were it not for the fact that he was so dizzy... at least he hadn't just dropped him... and he hadn't stolen his money before leaving either. He wasn't... so bad, he couldn't trust him though he told himself as he sat down heavily on the bench. If Gera and Kay didn't trust him Deimos couldn't bring himself to do so either.

Ryuusei seemed to debate on that one before nodding, water... water he could do! He reached back into his star cloud, looking through them before he picked out a blue on. He took it in his mouth before he crawled his way down Mrrh's arm so he could press the item into his hand. Then when he did that he grabbed another star to spit it at Gigan who had followed after them as they moved toward the bench. He didn't like that kitty! It was mean and made Mrrh bleed, "Bad kitty!" He scolded him.

Mrrh blinked as suddenly a star was pressed into his hand, what the ...********!" he stated alarmed as suddenly the star bubbled like it was being filled with water and then popped. WATER WAS EVERYWHERE. He sputtered and coughed as some hit his eye and the rest seemed to get on the both of them. Great...just...great.

"Ah.....Ryyuuuu..." he siiighed as he shook his hand trying to get the excess water off of him.

"Hey sorry there Deimos...you.." He looked down at the soaked boy..jeeze this looked all so very wrong.

Deimos gave a squealing sound of shock, coming out of his dazed state as he got soaked from head to toe with water. He looked down at himself then up at Mrrh and his only consolation in it all was the fact that at least he wasn't the only one who'd gotten soaked. He looked between the others in the group that were soaked... and then lifted his hands up and set to trying to squeeze the water out of his sopping wet hair.

Ryuusei seemed a little uncertain as he looked up at Mrrh then his tail set to swishing a bit and gave a bit of a grin, looking a little embarrassed that he'd accidentally soaked everyone but that hadn't been his fault! Mrrh had wished for water, he wasn't specific about it... He looked up at him before he set to crawling up his friend's arm and back onto his shoulder. He tilted his head to the side then settled down there, "Oops... But... got water." He said, smiling.

Mrrh shook his head a bit giving a sigh and then took a couple steps backwards as he looked to his soggy wet cape. He undid the clasp the kept it on his shoulders and then went to wring the water out of the fur.

"Yes well....yeah your right, got water all right...didn't know you could do that Ryuu...I'll need to be more careful.." he sighed as suddenly there was a clatter. Something metallic hit the ground. It was his ceremonial dagger. Oops.

Everything seemed to go quiet when the metal knife clattered to the ground, Deimos's eyes went wide, he gave a sort of gasping sound... and then he was gone as his involuntary reaction to extreme fear clicked into play. He didn't like scary things and most certainly didn't like that this scary guy was carrying a knife with him! He pushed to his feet and moved quickly around Mrrh, rushing over to where Gigan was and he scooped up his cat who seemed to float there in mid air for a moment before vanishing as well.

Ryuu starred as he watched the pink haired guy as he vanished from the bench and he gave a pathetic sound, "Ah! W-Wait! Your were buying food!" He called out after Deimos, his eyes wide with shock.

Mrrh sighed....he leaned over to pick the blade up nicking himself as he did so. Dammit. Not that he was sure that Deimos...wasn't ...sacred it was just very very inconvenient. He sucked on the small cut on his thumb as he then watched..or rather spotted the floating cat before it too disappeared. Though he could still see the water marks where they dropped off of the boy's body.

"don't suppose you could wish him visible? or at least back here could you?" He asked tonelessly as he stared as the vacant space before them.

"I can't make wishes." Ryuusei said, nuzzling against Mrrh in an apologetic manner. He wished he could do something like that but his power didn't work in such a manner that he could use it for himself. It was a power meant to make other people happy which in turn would make him happy... aside from this water debacle... that had been a little oopsie on his part. He glanced over where he saw the drops of water as they were trying to escape from Mrrh which confused him a bit.

He gave a sigh...trying to figure out if it was really worth following after him. If anything just to explain to him...that the dagger was...just for show. He could lie and say it was his item...

"Ehh.....so I have to wish for it?" He stated with a sigh, that felt like cheating. He idly took a couple of steps forward i the direction the water drops were headed. Deimos did have the money... he was ...broke at the moment..and couldn't cook. He was sure if he dragged the dragon back to the shop Roxy would attempt to feed him...

Ryuu merely gazed up at him, he wasn't allowed to explain it in detail and he hoped that Mrrh could figure it out. The two of them started forward toward where Deimos was going and his tail set to swishing, he wanted them to go after the pink haired boy so that they could get their lunch! He was ready to give chase like what Arlen had done with those animals the other day!

Deimos rushed forward, to slid around the corner of the nearest building and leaned against the wall, hugging Gigan to his chest as he came back into existence, "Oh... t-that was scary..." He murmured to his cat, lowering him down to the ground and shook his hair free of some of the water that clung to it. That was awful... to think that scary guy had a knife on him! They were safe to get away as quickly as they had, before that guy could use that knife on them.

"HEY? DEIMOS? COME OUT?" Mrrh called out knowing perfectly well that the boy was either A.) Still invisible or B.) MUCH further away than he though or C.) No way in hell will come out ...but hey it was worth a shot. "Come on Deimos! There isn't anything to be scared of. I am not going to hurt you or your cat or anyone else..." he stated though the last part was a BIT of lie. He did want to hurt Kay.

Ryuusei looked up at Mrrh for a long moment then gave a little shake of his head, "Yelling will not help." He murmured, nuzzling against him before he lifted up on his back feet on his shoulder, one of the front one resting on Mrrh's head as he looked around to try to spot the boy with the pink hair. He didn't seem to be ready to come out but he did see the cat peeking out from around a building ahead of them. He patted his hand against Mrrh, "I see the mean kitty." He told his friend.

Mrrh sighed again, he seriously wasn't sure if all of this was worth it...he should just go back to the shop and get him some food. SOooooo much simpler that way.
"Deimos...you don't have to be scared okay?" He stated in a softer tone, a trying to be patient tone. "Come on out i see your cat.." he continued.

Deimos gave a jump, looking down at Gigan who was lookout of the alleyway, glaring at the one that was following him and he gave a little sighing sound, "Gigan..." He murmured, giving a little sigh before he peeked out from behind the wall toward where Mrrh was. He didn't like the idea of giving away where he was, allowing the guy to see him again but it would seem as though Gigan was going to give away their spot... he would have to do his best to try to look brave even if he was anything but...

There was a purring sound from Ryuu when he saw the other boy standing there, good good! The one with the money for lunch had made a reappearance! His tail started to wag wildly, the blue star becoming a blue blur in his excitement.

Back at the Shop

They walked in silence, Mrrh didn't really have anything to say to Deimos after all. It wasn't like they hit it off...after all..Dei had run..not screaming..but he may as well had been after he had seen the blade...he made a note to never let the guy see his scars. He may just pass dead away then...

They came upon the shop, and when he opened the door he could hear the THUD THUD THUD of running feet upstairs and then the THUD THUD THUD as they bounded down the stairs.

"KAY?" Came a rather loud rather bouncy and excited voice, the blond named Roxy skidded to a halt, wearing a very interesting outfit made entirely out of stars. She was blindingly glittery and shiny.

"OH HI MRRH! OOOH YOU FOUND SILVER!" She squeead as she noticed the sleeping dragon in the crutch of his arm. She then sharply turned her head, her eyes focusing on Dei a moment...trying to pinpoint how she knew him..then broke out into a larger smile (if that was even possible) and then went to glomp the pink haired boy.

"DEEEEEEIIIIII!"

Ryuusei came away at all the noise, looking around with wide eyes, then his attention went to Roxy and his eyes got wide. Stars! Oh! Roxy had stars too! He lifted himself up best he could, glad to see his stomach had diminished a bit, and his tail set to wagging rapidly. He then watched, eyes wide, as the girl turned to glomp onto Deimos. He tilted his head then gave a giggle, "Glad she doesn't do that to me." He told Mrrh, certain that he would be crushed if she tried.

Deimos let out a squeal of surprise when the girl suddenly attacked, latching onto him, and the pair of the vanished from sight due to his reaction to being in any way startled always being the same...

Gigan sighed in a cat like manner, shaking his head before he trotted inside the shop leaving the kids to play as they would like.

Mrrh looked shocked and a bit worried taking a step as the pair vanished suddenly. It was like before...but..this time he had taken Roxy with him.

"Gaaah.....Deimos you bring her back! Her brother will MURDER Me if you lose her!" He knew he'd be blamed somehow.

"EEEEE DEI IT'S BEEN SO LONG!!" The blond squealed more as she rubbed her cheek against him in a an affectionate manner. She blinked wondering what Mrrh was talking about and finally let go to Deimos popping back into view.

"SILVER!" she squeaked again as she reached out to pick up the small dragon hugging him to her chest. "Who is soooo cute!? You are! YES YOU ARE!" She babbled in a baby talk sort of way.

Mrrh rolled his eyes...not a pet his a**...

Deimos himself came back into view as Roxy released him and after he'd gotten his heart rate back to a normal one. He lifted a hand to rest it against his chest, drew in a deep breath, and then let it out slowly. He really needed to figure out a better way of dealing with stress then disappearing he thought to himself idly before looking over toward the trio as Roxy set to loving on Mrrh's pet. He gave a little smile before looking to Roxy, "Is your brother home?" He asked, half guessing that if she were here he probably was waiting and watching somewhere since he seemed so hellbent on guarding her all the time. Something he wouldn't admit to being jealous of...

Ryuu couldn't help it, as much as he wanted to claim that he wasn't a pet the moment he was in Roxy's arms he was purring like a happy kitty, his tail was wagging, and he was nuzzling against her in a happy fashion.

Roxy paused in her attention to Ryuu and paused to speak though the TROMP TROMP TROMP that echoed from above was enough to announce that..yes..Gera was home. She gave an expression that looked like a sour pickle and then nodded her head.

"Yeaaaaaaah...he is..." she drawled as she then nuzzled Ryuu and then perked up immensely. "You like my dress Silver? DO you? I make you a little outfit too! So we can match! I am so glad you came home I missed having you sleep in my room, " she chattered aimlessly as she then went to plop down on the couch rummaging in ...a pocket and trying to find the small thing she had tried to sew.

Gera came down the steps more slowly that the energetic Roxy had...he paused when he accessed the room, noting each figure silently, and slowly before coming over, Mrrh of course took an involuntary step back.

Deimos lifted his gaze upward toward the sound of Gera's footsteps which were quite familiar to him due to the sound that they made. He gave a bit of a smile before he waited for him, walking toward him when he started over to the group. He'd seen the manner in which Mrrh stepped back and he sort of felt for the guy, mostly because he knew what it was like to be afraid of things, "Hello Gera." He greeted the Golem. Gera was one of the few people he was friends with and oddly one of those you think he'd be afraid of given his look.

Ryuusei was nodding rapidly, "Roxy has pretty stars too!" He said in a happy manner, scrambling up onto her shoulder and set to inspecting her starry dress that much closer, rather liking it himself. It might be total biased on his part since he had many stars of his own but he couldn't help it, "Ahh...? One for me?" He sounded quite in awe and excited over that idea, even more so then he'd been over the idea of free food. This was awesome! He couldn't wait to see his outfit and to wear it and match Roxy!

Roxy nodded her head gladly ignoring her annoying brother as she finally pulled out...a not quite so well made neck...ruffle thing. It was silver and it was cut in the shape of a star with little bells attached at each star tip. It jingled as she pulled it out and showed it to him.

"Seeee? " She proclaimed proudly.

Gera noted Mrrh's reaction to back up and glared at him, the other boy only giving an awkward smile in return.

"Hey Gera.."

". . ." There wasn't a response though he focused his attention to Deimos when he was spoken too.

"Hello Deimos, " He greeted as it was custom for him to respond in such a manner.

Ryuu's tail set to wagging that much faster, the blue star becoming a blue blur as he looked at the interesting collar that she had made him. A part of him thought that it would get him teased more about being a pet if he wore a collar but the majority of him didn't care, "Oooo." He murmured, smiling in delight over the item before he hopped down onto her lap, lifting his head up so that she could put it on him.

Deimos looked between the pair as the situation seemed to get a bit... awkward at best. He shifted in an uncertain manner. Well now this was tough, wasn't it? He lifted a hand to scratch it against the back of his head and did his best to keep his breathing even. Last thing he wanted to do was vanish for a third time today, he wasn't so much of a wimp that an tense situation could scare him that much... well no... he probably was, wasn't he? He shifted in place again, "Ahhh... so how are you?" He asked, hoping to get Gera to perk up at least a little since at the moment he seemed a bit on the robotic and unhappy side.

Roxy giggled a entire bunch as she saw how happy Silver was at the present. She undid the silver string and she went to put it around his neck and did a big bow in the back. The...collar seemed to wilt...it wasn't even...and ..there was a jingle and a clink as one badly sewn on bell fell off. She pouted looking about ready to cry,

"Nooooo..." She started as she went to gather the bell only to see a seem was coming undone already.."No no no...ooh I wish it would ...just ...stop falling apart...can't it just...look like it had in my head." She lamented going to poke at a loose thread.

Gera stared at Deimos as if processing the question and pondering the value in responding.

Mrrh sighed and then shrugged, "I'm going to go visit Anon, Gera Roxy...Deimos...I'll see you peeps later I guess." The dark skinned boy stated feeling rather unwanted and thus didn't want to interfere with buddy buddy time.

Gera didn't seem to relax as Mrrh left...but finally returned his gaze to Deimos,
"Busy." He replied finally.

Ryuusei looked quite worried when the bell fell off, starring at it then watched as the blond girl picked it up. That she was about to cry worried him greatly and he stepped closer to her, snuggling against her, and gave a little wag of his tail. When she spoke his eyes went a little wide and he turned to stare at his stars for a moment, watching them closely before he picked one of them out of the group. It was a yellow star that was offered up to the girl this time. He wanted to fix the collar for her, it would make her happy and she had wished for it so he was eager to do as she wished. He wanted his friend to be happy and not just because it was a collar for him. In fact what was more important was that she didn't cry!

The little dragon turned as Mrrh said his goodbyes, pouting a little when he was left out then waved a hand rapidly, "Bye Mrrh!" He called, he half wanted to go with him but decided that he was needed here at the moment.

Deimos watched as Mrrh turned to go, "Ahh... tell Anon I said 'hi' if you would, Mrrh." He said to the other boy, feeling a little bad that he was leaving, sure he felt as uncomfortable as Deimos did in this situation if not more so. He turned to look at Gera, watching him for a long moment, "Are you... alright?" He asked, Gera seemed really stiff at the moment and given it was Gera that was saying something...

Gera's gaze trailed after Mrrh and then once he was safely 'gone' the other looked to Deimos. His blue gaze staring him down a moment before glancing at Roxy who seemed upset.
No danger present.

"I have been busy.." He replied again reconfirming that he had..been really busy. Busy trying to keep an eye on Roxy...and keep tabs on Kay and Mrrh.

Roxy sniffled giving a vague wave in Mrrh's exciting direction before she took the star in her hand. She looked at it a bit...and then it glimmered and burst into sparkles in her hand. The sparkles flew towards the collar and much like something you'd see in a magic fairy wand it went about sewing the loose ends the frayed and reattached the bell and generally making the neck ruffle look professionally done. She blinked...staring at it...gave it a poke and then squealed again.

"EEEEEEEEEEEE IT LOOKS SO CUTE ON YOU SILVER!"

"Ahh... I see." He murmured, head tilting to one side as he watched him. Busy? He wondered what Gera did to keep himself so busy... he glanced over at Roxy and the dragon for a moment before looking back at his friend, "So... I was thinking we should go out again sometime, Gera. It was fun." He told him, deciding that he would need to be the talkative one even though normally he did his best to keep from being noticed. When one was noticed bad things tended to happen like that big, blue dragon nabbing him... He shook that thought off quickly, not wanting to give it another moment worth of time in his head.

Ryuusei's tail set to wagging in a happy manner, pleased to see that the girl's good mood had returned, "I am glad you are happy, Roxy." He murmured, giving her a happy smile before he snuggled against her, "Can be starry together now." He all but purred.
