Lam snorted at that and shook her head a bit, patting Sophie's head before wandering forward some to see what all was in the aisle.
Cookie leaned up to wave and mew at Adrian before snuggling against Sophie again. This was nice!

Adrian sighed, smiling slightly as he waved to Cookie. "No, Sophie, you can't keep her. She's a little girl, not a kitten. Now come along. It's time to check out."
"No! We haven't found her a collar yet." The witch pouted. Had she not been loaded down with toddler she would have stomped her foot.
The vampire shook his head and meandered away, muttering 'five minutes'. That was all she needed to pick out the perfect one. "Okay, how about this one? It would really bring out your eyes or this one; it matches your scales. It's bound to make anyone happy that sees you wearing it."
And of course, her magic was kicking in.

Cookie mewed, poking the items and snuggling the collar. After all, it would make someone happy to see her in it, why wouldn't it be perfect?
Her mother smiled brightly. "I'm sure you and Cookie can play again another time." she told Sophie with a smile, leaning down to unwrap the tot again so she didn't bounce. "And that's a lovely collar."
The kitten girl seemed delighted and leaned up to nuzzle Sophie's cheek in a very kitty kisses fashion.

"That would be nice." She leaned back to take the hand that Adrian offered upon his return. "It's going to make alot of people happy and it already is. I'm sure of it." Magically, she gifted the collar with instant smiling qualities and feelings of warmth. It was just a little gift for sure a cute girl.
She laughed and gave Cookie a hug. "Bye!"
And thus the witch met her first chimera.
