"It's more like she's inside Kall, and I have Kall attached to me the same way she did. Gives me a headache trying to explain." He rubbed his head, blushing.

"You Powers and your weird...powers," Angela teased slightly. "Though it's pretty pathetic that you get a headache trying to explain your own abilities. That's why I like being a half breed. Everything is nice and simple."
"Well, except the part about having two fathers. That tends to throw people a bit."

"Trying to explain having a realm in your head is hard! It's all confusing to me too half the time." Zen wished his powers were nice and simple, people would actually get them that way. "At least nobody time traveled in your family... right?"

"I have no idea," Angela said. "It wouldn't surprise me, really. My father does all sorts of weird things that he doesn't tell me about. I just try not to think about it so I can pretend I'm normal."
"You know, when I'm not waking up on the ceiling and other odd things like that.

Zen laughed, "Normal huh? That's silly. You're normal to me, I'm a weirdo to you. And it's best to be abnormal anyway, that's what changes things you know." Zen sat up, his short attention spanned kicked in. "Can I have a tour?" He jumped off the roof.

"You are probably the only man I know that thinks accidentally sleeping on the ceiling is normal," Angela said, rolling onto her stomach and looking down at him. "And sure you can. How exactly do you expect me to explain you to my crew mates? I dont' think they're going to believe you're an emperor and most of the celestials and such that we've met have been jerks so telling them that isn't going to get a good reception either."
She gave him a slightly teasing smile. "Perhaps I should just imply you're my boyfriend. That should confuse them enough to shut them up.

"I can be a stowaway boyfriend, that works!" He thought, pacing the deck and checking out the area, "This is so much fun! Can I drive?" Zen wanted to meet somebody new and alien for once.

Angela sighed and sat up, carefully getting herself down from the roof. "It's just a ship," she said. "It's not that much fun. And no you can't." She grinned slightly. "Stowaways are usually forced to swab the deck I hope you realize."

"Aww, come on! That's not nice to do to your boy friend. How boring if it's just a normal ship... tell me you're not transporting bananas or something like that?" He fretted, and walked in circles.

Angela laughed. "Aww...don't worry. I'll protect you from the evil crew, who most definitely will want to put you to work." She rolled her eyes. "Zen, I may have never explained this to you before but...I'm actually something of...a pirate."
"We're smuggling contraband."

"PIRATES? Did you get kidnapped? Why would you smuggle contraband?" He disapproved, but at least it was exciting. He wanted to see them get past customs, or he assumed there was customs wherever they were.
Maybe Angela had a midlife immortal crisis? Why else would someone join pirates?

"There...seems to be a lot about myself I've forgotten to tell you," Angela said, laughing. "Um...first of all, my mother was a pirate. Secondly, our government is run by a load of tyrants who regulate everything to the detriment of the people."
"We mostly transport equipment that the people need but that is supposed to be regulated by government sponsored trade. They keep tight reigns on everything in order to control people and to fill heir own pockets." She shrugged and leaned against the rail "People suffer because of it so a rather large black market. It's not as if we're transporting things that hurt people."
"I suppose it's our way of rebelling..." She frowned and stared out. "Zen...is that a ship out there?"

"Tyrants, gotta love em. I guess that makes sense. Who is it and how'd they get in charge?.... hmm looks like a ship, or perhaps a UFO which is also a ship." This was going to be a nice vacation.

Angela gave Zen a strange look. "If....a UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object. Then...if you know know it's a ship, it can't be a UFO. Because it's not unidentified anymore, right?"
She was looking up at him, puzzling over his logic when somewhere in the back of her mind, it registered that she'd heard cannon fire. "Ah...Zen...Move."
She shoved him away from the spot where they were standing, just as a cannon ball burst through the railing, sending splintered wood showering down.

"Why're they shooting at you for?" Zen puzzled over the cannon ball. They were all UFOs to him, he was just along for the ride... literally.
His clothes protected him from splinters but he was rather glad no one hit him in the head with a projectile.
