Aiden smiled back and waited in his spot. He kept his gaze on her, doing his best to ignore any stares his markings got him. As Andy began to sing and play the guitar, a look of awe came over his face. He had no idea she was that good.
When she stopped, he stood up with a large grin and made his way over to her, but stopped as one of the audience members accused her of cheating. "So just because we aren't human means we're automatically cheaters?" Aiden cast him an icy glare, voice low and serious.
The bartender was the only human so far to earn a smile from him, since she was nice enough to give Andy a pin. "If they do, I'll make them stop." He nodded a little, starting to leave the establishment. "You know, in all of the story books... It's humans that are the cheaters when everything else is pure. Unless it's evil, but I don't see anything evil about you." He grumbled as he shut the door behind them.

"You really think so?" she asked with a bit of a shy smile. It was rare that she was complimented on anything she did, always viewed as a bit of a troublemaker in her mother's eyes. She nodded a little and left with Aiden, as they went back onto the sidewalk outside, she looked up to see the sun, it was much lower in the sky now. "Was there anything else you wanted to do? We could always go back home now, I'm sure Mira and Edmund have spent enough time together... I wouldn't be surprised if they were doing the kissing face already." she looked to Aiden with a grin and then began to laugh. "I'm just kidding." she retorted as she didn't want to freak out Aiden too much. She was still laughing as she continued to hold onto his hand.

"I'm sure, I doubt you'd do anything evil on purpose." He nodded, glancing around the area. "I don't... like it out here very much..." He admitted hesitantly, eying a few more passerby's that happened to stare and whisper to each other a little too loudly. "W-what?" He turned back to Andy, blinking a few times. He had been feeling awfully warm and fuzzy all day... And he seriously doubted that it was entirely his own doing.
"K-kidding... yeah." He smiled a bit, tugging her back toward the academy lightly. "We should go back anyway, it's not very friendly out here."

"Alright, we can just go back home, that sounds good." she responded with a smile, she had just then realized that she was still holding his hand but didn't mind so much as she swung her arm back and forth with his lightly. She was beaming as she walked, taking a quick glance down to the medal. She may not have won the money, but she did sing really well. Andy supposed that one day, she could go and become a singer there, or even just move on to a real concert hall. "...yeah,...that would be great.." she whispered to herself as she stared off into the distance, daydreaming within her mind of how one day she'll be a famous singer and have everyone envy her. "Aiden... What do you want to do when you grow up?" she asked as they walked back toward the academy, hand in hand.

"Huh?" He looked back to Andy, slightly taken off guard by the question. "I dunno... but I really like glass, so I think I'll work with it..." He smiled a little, shrugging his shoulders as he swung his arm with Andy's. "What about you? Are you gonna be a singer?" He grinned, it seemed fairly obvious to him that Andy would pick singing since she was so good at it.

Andy smiled back as they swung their arms together. "Of course! I'd love to be a famous singer one day and then the normal people will love me and then we could be accepted. It would be nice to be famous, always being asked to play at this place and that and always giving out autographs. Yep, That'll be me one day!" she spoke with confidence. She was happy to be with Aiden, she really did like being his friend. "You could always make jewelry out of glass. That would be really cool!" she suggested, giggling a bit to herself as she kept her confident stride next to Aiden.

"Normal people? they're just a different species is all." Aiden shook his head with a grin, why should they be considered not normal when they were perfectly normal for their own kind? "I'm sure you'll be a very famous singer, you already sing really well... I imagine it'll get even better when you grow up more." He nodded with a bit of a smile. "True, I could. I bet Mira would like some, too... And you?" The smile became a little more apparent.

"If you made me one, I'd wear it all the time. Especially when I sing for good luck!" she responded with a big smile. "I'm sure we'll be friends that long, right? I'd like to be friends forever!" she exclaimed happily. She was really confident about their friendship as they made it to the academy gates. "Hmm... what now?... I suppose we could split ways, since it's getting late." she offered, looking down to their intertwined hands. Smiling softly at him she then spoke, "Thank you for going with me today. I really had a lot of fun today."

"I'll have to get better at molding glass then, so I can make you a charm." He grinned, nodding his head. "I want to be friends forever, too... Lets make sure that we never lose contact, okay?" He smiled almost shyly, feeling a flutter of emotion in his chest that he wasn't entirely sure was his own, but it felt that way. "Oh, I guess so... N-no, thank you. I wouldn'tve ever left the Academy if you hadn't suggested it." He shook his head, "so did I... We should do it again sometime, and maybe bring Mira and Edmund along too, huh?"

[Lame end post is lame.]
"Yeah! That would be awesome! And then next time, Mira won't be sick and then we could all go!" she smiled wide as she then nodded. She leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek and then let go of his hand, waved at him and began to walk off toward her mother's house. She'd go there first since her mother had told her there would be a surprise for her when she got home. Andy was too curious too pass up going to see what the surprise was, then she'd return right back to the dorms to see how Mira was doing. She was sure Edmund would be gone by then since Aiden would be back. She smiled as she turned back to Aiden and waved once more, "I'll be back at the dorms later!!" she exclaimed, turned and ran toward the house, too excited to just walk there.
