So, your even doing a gym system here... that's pretty cool. Maybe, if I can get this breeding stuff down quick enough, I would like to apply for a fire-type gym leader position.

lol yeah that's not happening. Out of my 10 mains, only two of them are Fire (I luffs my Typhlosion and Vulpix though(I still need to get a Fire Stone to make her a Ninetales but I loves her so D: )~)
....I get a little too attached to some of my pokemon...
(Example, I had kept my Cyndaquil as a Cyndaquil for 48 levels before I decided it was probably best to let him evolve. When he finally did, I swear my heart broke D: )

So... I still want to apply to be a Dark-Type Gym Leader, but I'm unsure how quickly I can make a proper Dark team. *sighs*
I have my current 6-Pokemon team that is worthy of testing, but it's not Dark, and I would love to keep limited to that.
*ponders what to do* Failing making a team before all positions are filled, I'll just pretend to be a trainer hanging out at a gym? biggrin

I never had much of a problem making pokemon evolve or anything. *shrug* Guess I'm too competitive, gotta have the best pokemon with the best stats and the best moves xd
Also, I hope multitypes and starters will be allowed, I'd love to have a Charizard on my team. Though, of course, I absolutely must have mah Arcanine.

I don't usually have an issue with it, it's just that Cyndaquil is pretty much my favorite pokemon (cuz he's just so cute D: (and ohmygod I'm such a girl)) and for some reason I just got really really attached to that Vulpix. I loves her~

I like Vulpix's looks more than I like Ninetails, but I'm such a Zelda nerd it's ridiculous. I've decided to have a Ninetails named "Keaton" on any fire team I build... Ooh, I hope nicknames are allowed too.

Oh geez, I almost never nickname my pokemon because I'm so unimaginative. The nicknames I do have are either stolen from/suggested by Mr. Cow. Oh and I named my Red Gyarados '******** YEAH'. And then proceeded to make him my HM whore (I've got a regular Gyarados that I absolutely love anyway).

I don't see why it wouldn't but I don't make the rules.
Also, I don't see why multiple types wouldn't be allowed, as long as the gym trainer uses Pokémon whose type is the first type of the Pokémon. The game's gym leaders have multiple types.

Lets see... My red Gyarados is named Volvagia, my Kanto starters are Din, Nayru, and Farore, my Sinnoh starters are Brisingr, Adurna, and Deloi. My Ursaring is Shardik.

lol Mr. Cow nicknames every single pokemon he catches. All of them. It's insane but whatever.
Lin: Y'know if we were strictly going by what the game does, then that shouldn't even matter. The Elite Four has pokemon whose types don't match their specialties.
But yeah, I figure they'd at least require you use a pokemon whose first type matches your speciality, but I don't write the rules either...
