"Mm, I was taking cake around to people." Ebby explained with a nod, "It was odd."
"Well yeah - his Dad's been working and there's a new baby in the house so he's been busy helping with her too and his little brother."

Time passed as the two chatted of this and that like old friends often do. Bovi enjoyed having someone...well...near his age that he could talk to. He did love his brother, there was no doubt about that, but still one always could use the company of someone closer to your own peer group.
Still, after some time had passed, Bovi finally dug out his cell phone to check the time.
"Oh dear..." he said with a slightly saddened tone. "I really must cut our chat to a close Ebony. I'm supposed to fix dinner tonight for the family, and I need to pop around town to pick up a few things for said meal..." He got out his wallet and placed the few bills on top of the bill that the waiter had brought some time ago before standing up.
"Still, it was very nice to see you again. I'd love to get together with you again sometime when you're free."

"Oh of course. I'm sorry to have taken up so much of your time." the girl said, standing up with a smile and giving him a quick hug before pulling out a paper to write her number down on.
"Call me if you wanna hang out some time. We could catch a movie or somethin."

"Oh no, it's quite all right," he said with a chuckle as he hugged her back before taking the piece of paper from her, pocketing it.
"A movie sounds delightful! I'll call you later and we can set up something," he said with a smile before turning around and started to leave, but not before a quick wave. "Goodbye Ebony, hope to see you soon!"
