Kae sighed, his expression one of worry, but tinged slightly with pity. "Honestly, Lucius. You could have your fur dyed blue, and I still wouldn't make fun of you." The red fox walked around Lucius so he could see the other's face and smiled a bit to encourage him. "Besides, how can anyone see the real you if you're hiding behind all these worries. And believe you me, I'd love to meet him." Kae looked across at the patchwork demon, wondering what the hell he was doing trying to Dr.Phil a response out of him, rather dejected and not expecting an answer.

Lucius was fairly uncomfortable under Kae's gaze and wasn't able to grasp what he was hearing at first. After he made some sense out of the dialogue, he shook his head, wanting to smile and say he was being silly and that he was ready to move on. However, things werren't that easy, and Luci was scared because he did feel on the verge of spilling it all.
The low growl echoed in his chest and grew louder, signifying fear to Lucius and anger to probably everyone else. He was feeling cornered with no comprehednable thought process. His eyes darted around the shop. They swiftly took in everything but Kae. He muttered in childish frustration, "It's because I'm gay." Without a moments of hesitation, Lucius took off and ran out of the shop. He didn't have the nerve to go further than around the corner, but it was just like him to run away from his problems or dash into safety when things got difficult.

Stunned marginally by the growl and sudden bolting, Kae was silent and stood for a moment in the shop after Lucius left. He felt unusually alone, and at the same time like he was being stared down at an execution. Lucius was the only companion Kae was able to talk so freely to, and it was something he wasn't planning on letting go. Resolved, he darted off after the other fox.
Needless to say, Kae was surprised to locate the demon just around the corner. "Woah!" Kae said breathlessly, skidding to a halt. He could feel his paws sting on the cement. Sighing, Kae just looked at Lucius, at a loss for what to say.

Lcuius was emotionally exhausted. He didn't want to fake anything anymore, nor did he feel like caring. Unfortunately, it was unlikely either of those would come true. He leaned against a nearby tree and sighed, clawing at the dirt below him. By the time Kae showed up there was a nice-sized hole growing. He frowned and looked up, too drained to be surprised. "Look, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything. I shouldn't have gotten anyone involved in my problems. Sorry." Here he was, once again, giving up.

Kae spent a moment staring at the other fox. Guilt panged a little, and Kae sat down near Lucius. "Its my fault. I know its a sensitive subject." The red fox kept his eyes on Lucius. "I shouldn't have interrogated you like that." He layed his ears back against his head, feeling a bit dejected. When he let himself start talking, he didn't stop and now he'd gone and ruined things.

Lucius fidgeted against the tree, digging himself a hole quite literally. "C-Can we just forget about it, okay? I don't want to talk about because it IS a sensitive subject." He shifted under's Kae's penterating gaze, only chancing a glance at him now and then. Luci harbored guilty feelings over this because Kae was a nice guy and Lucius was not. He had so many pent-up, overdramatized issues that constantly threatened to explode. They partially did and he felt immense remorse over it. Yet each of the males insisted on blaming themselves.

"Fair enough," Kae smiled. "If you'd rather not tell me more, its alright." The red fox debated something silently in his mind a bit, but set the thought aside. Kae clawed at the ground for himself a bit, debating. "So are you alright?" He inquired, perking his ears forward and looking past Lucius at the tree. He'd been all focused on learning more about Lucius that he pushed him far enough for the other fox to run. Lucius was so hidden and confined, Kae was used to his sisters, however cruel, speaking their minds and being as blunt as they could be.

"No, I'm not. I'm being a dickhead. To everyone. I've never really known anything but misery in my family. We pretend we're okay, but we're truly crumbling form the inside out. My sisters are fine, I guess. They moved on, took control of their own life. I wish Dad and I could do that, but we don't understand it. I hate my other Dad on top of that." Lucius sighed heavily, staring hard at Kae aftewards. He didn't expect to reveal that much to anyone, not even his sisters. "I'm going crazy. That's it, I bet." Maybe, if he let go of all his regrets and his pain, he'd be able to grow a pair, suck it up, and start anew.
