She smiled at him, and nestled herself in the boa. It was warm from his body. Big and bushy... She looked quite fashionable in it. So Boris only had three in his herd. That was indeed a bit small, but it also functioned well, without needing a hierarchy. She watched as the tower got closer, and she glanced back at the mansion. This place was probably very nice when there were others around. Trying to shake that sad feeling, she looked up at him and thought.
"I lived in one when I was foal... My p-parents were the leaders. But they were killed one day. With them gone, I n-never learned to lead the herd, so when I became and adult, I was expelled b-basically." Her face seemed unfeeling in a way, which was a lie. It hurt a lot. She knew it had to happen, but it was still sore. "By right, when I b-became an adult, I was to take on a mate and take over. But I never learned the ways, so the next candidate would take over, and train s-someone else, but I had to be left behind... T-thats when I came to the Kawani lands."
It was like she could sense the life this place once held. "It's v-very lovely Boris." She smiled at him, shed could picture the lights, and hear echoes of the music. Yes, this was a truly happy place.

He listened carefully at her story and wondered how it could of been so complicated. Herds were like family altogether, isn't that how it worked? He tilted his head. He couldn't understand why anyone would banish Madoka, a sweet, happy mare over something tedious when, no matter what; that herd was for her parent's to lead and then, even if she didn't know the roles, for her to take over.
"They're stupid. It's their loss. To have someone like you as a leader, who's caring and fun-loving. Would be anyone's dream. If you were leader of my herd, I'd be jealous..." He looked away as they walked at one of the rides to keep his attention whilst he continued. "Of whoever you chose as a mate to lead it with you."
His blush was bright which was why he was thankful now for having hair that covered his eyes mainly. It was sad she had lost her parent's but then again he didn't even know what it was like to have one. He assumed the closest would of been the old man. He slyly looked over at Madoka when she complimented the amusement park and smiled warmly. "Thank you. Madoka"
He wanted so badly to ask her, to be apart of his herd too, he knew what that would consist of but did she feel that way about him? Or was it one sided. His eyes fell sad as he looked over her and for a moment he couldn't help himself as he pressed his head against hers and closed his eyes. Without restraint and purred softly, running his muzzle down along her neck until he rested it over her shoulder, and hugged her close.The two cuddled in the mass of the fluffy boa.

"It hurts, but I'm not angry. Y-you see, on the plains a heard as much as it is like a family. It's a unit mainly for protection from p-predators. Somewhere w-with no threat, I c-could maybe lead, but I didn't have what it would take to p-protect them." She smiled at him, a blush of her own forming when he talked about being jealous. Her whole body was feeling warm. Maybe it was the boa she thought. But her hear was racing. "The one benefit now is, I-I can choose who I want t-to be with, not based on strength." She smiled at him. Even though she picked who she wanted as a mate in the herd, it was usually the strongest male, regardless of if she wanted to be with him or not.
She looked over at him as he rubbed against her neck, blushing as he pulled her close. Her heart wanted to burst. This feeling was becoming almost uncontrollable. She stood there, feeling happy, and overwhelmed, as if she had been waiting for this one moment for her entire life, but also a bit nervous because she didn't understand it.

Her heart was beating fast, rapidly and he could feel it. The sensation tingled his skin sending shivers all over him. He could hear it, it was real it was... Irreplacable. He had to pull himself away or he would never let go, would never move. He slowly stepped back and looked into her eyes. He smirked and spun around. "Sooo... What about me?" He asked casually as he trotted over to an amusement ride and behind it. He peeked around the otherside, his eyes never moving off of her. "Would I qualify as a canidate?"
He jumped into a dark patch, a huge shadow and was engulfed in it. The area was silent with the whistle of the wind against metal and all the while Boris had vanished. He was gone for a while, but that didn't mean he wasn't keeping a sure eye on her and then he appeared, jumping from shadow to shadow before lastly his hooves could be heard on the concrete again coming towards her from behind. clip, clop, clip... Light, smooth steps and then he stood next to her a cone of candy floss in his mouth.
"To be considered to be your mate, I mean."

When he pulled away cool air slid in against her skin, and she looked over at him. Her pink eyes watching him as he moved around the ride, and then looked at her. It was strange, he seemed to keep an eye on her. Like she might vanish suddenly. Her heart beat slow down, and she felt calm again. She tilted her head some when he first started talking. She was going to answer but then he disappeared into the shadows.
Her heart raced, did he leave her there? No... She could feel his eyes. What a strange sensation. And then from the corner of her eyes she caught him, but then he was again. She didn't understand... Madoka was very simple minded, as she continued to grow, she would mentally as well, but right now this was all something she didn't understand, nor did she realize the importance of what he was asking her.
As he walked up behind her, she looked back, almost unsure of if it was him. She looked up at him as he joined her and what he had in his mouth. "Y-you would be the best one." She told him honestly. Such a simple answer with so many meanings in it.

His little stunt was to see if she would be ok without his presence near her in this land but she didn't look scared all the while he was dancing in and out of the shadows. Which was sort of a good thing. He tilted his head when she said he would be the best one and instantly took that as if she wanted him, he didn't realize she didn't understand. His face was so hot he felt as if he could melt.
"I would be?" He mumbled, just to reassure himself. He didn't want it to be a honest Heartland situation like all the herds had ended up in when they split. His tail brushed the ground slowly behind him, wagging with happiness. If she meant it, that would mean... No loneliness anymore.
He pushed the candy floss towards her with a small withdrawn smile. "Sweet tooth?" He chuckled sweetly. "Take a bite, it's tasty."

- EDITED! I re-did the first part some~
She watched him as he mumbled. Her head tilted and she smiled. "Yes, I-I enjoy being around you. You make me happy. And when you're gone, I miss you." She blinked at him a few times. She was telling him the truth, but he seemed to almost not believe it. Maybe there was something wrong with her. She blanked out for a few moments pondering this idea. But she knew she had her problems. And it made her a little sad to to realize that maybe Boris didn't want to help her. She swayed in her step staring at the sweets in his teeth and leaned forward to lip some off it. It was wed like and sticky... But boy did it taste good. Madoka's ears perked up pushing the doubtful thoughts from her mind.
"Wow, that's v-very good." She wondered what it was, and if she could eat lot of it, because it tasted so good to her. Even the smell coming off it was sweet. She took another small bite, before she looked around.
"Y-you said your herd was here?" Glancing back at him before looking around again. She was expecting them to be there when they had arrived. But if there's only three then maybe they had gone elsewhere.

"I'm happy I make that much of a difference to you." He smiled widely. He could see that even after she had said that to him, her colour seemed to fade and her mood saddened. He dinted his brows. Had he done or said something to upset her? He didn't say anything but simply let her eat the floss and compliment it's taste, he lightened up knowing that she liked the food at the amusement park even if it wasn't anything fancy.
"Oh, right the herd..." He looked to the side at all the rides in their age and sweat dropped. "The old man is probably wondering around here somewhere, I usually stay out of his way though and Pierce, no doubt will be either in the forest or hiding away from me. If he see's you, he'll come. It's a waiting game." He laughed a little and once she had eaten the candy he dropped the empty cone in one of the bins and trotted forward, urging her to follow him.
"When you're gone." He smiled back at her. "I miss you too."

It seemed like Madoka wouldn't get to meet his herd after all. She walked after him, when he moved away, and she tilted her head wondering where he would take her now. Her ears perked up again when he talked to her and she smiled. Happy to hear it. It was pretty quite in the area, and when they walked their hooves were easily heard. So when the wind blew the sound of music came along with it.
"What's that?" She asked Boris. Music was coming from the left of where they were standing. But it seemed off in the distance a bit. "Can we go and see w-what it is?" She was him, nudging him some. Madoka always liked the music two leggers would make. This was a bit different, but music none the less.
Little did Madoka know she was in for a real surpise. Some of the local wildlife were having what we call a party. On such a wonderful night, why not! Madoka looked up at Boris hoping it would be okay for them to go.

Boris blinked a couple of times when she nudged him, his ears twitching a couple of times as they caught the sound of music floating along in the breeze. He smiled, how eager she was to see who were playing it. He wondered if she had seen creatures like the ones they were about to see.
"Sure, no problem." He nodded and walked ahead to take her to their midnight 'party.' His tail swished behind him, chiming to the sound of the melody that was once faintly heard and now grew louder. Behind the amusemnt park was once again more forest and he paused behind one of the bushes. Silently looking back at her, waiting for her to come take a better look.
Whilst she walked closer, he looked over her. He thought back to their conversation. 'The best one..' He still pondered on it, with wondering eyes they fell to the ground. He was lost in thought.

She looked over at him, he was staring at the ground and she tilted her head some. She nosed him lightly, the music coming from just beyond the trees. He seemed lost in his thoughts. She looked right at him and smiled, hoping he wasn't getting tired... She wanted to play some more.
When she was able to get his attention, she poked her head through the tree line. She seemed a little taken a back. She wasn't to sure WHAT she was seeing, but she wasn't scared. The body was like an air bag, and then the mouth was a horn. And they made lovely music. There was also a broom, and drums, even something with strings. She jumped out, into the back, and she tossed her head around, not sure if Boris had followed her her not. The creatures looked at her, but she didn't look all that different from the others in appearance, but Madoka didn't understand the idea of the clocks and afterimage. That the lives of all those there were disposable. She thought Boris was 'normal' like her. With a few special traits.

Boris watched her and he lit up once more. A grin appearing on his face as he leaped out from behind the bushes and joined her, rearing up in the air and making a twirl. He landed back on his feet and cast Madoka a swift glance. He knew she was a fun loving mare deep inside, he just never figured music would bring it out in her. With a smirk he nudged her neck. "Toss of the mane and head? what other moves you got?"
With a beam of happiness he trotted around her in a full circle ears lifting up and down and tail flicking to the beat so that his piercings chimed along with the music too. He bobbed his head side to side to the melody and tapped his hoof down one by one so he was mingling his own tune in there.
With a grin at Madoka, he wondered how she would dance and, with chance he was going to join her.

She watched Boris dance, and she blushed some, as he danced around her. She wiggled her butt a little, and lifted her hooves in time with the beat of the music. Using that to turn her body around in a wide circle, if she did them to small and fast, she'd get dizzy.
She tossed her head again and stomping her hooves with the beat. The music was uplifting and she was having a lot of fun. Boris would have plenty of chances to jump in and dance with her. In fact, when she had the chance, she slide by him, and tugged at his boa to bring him forward to join her. Dancing with friends was always fun!
The animals moved out of their way a bit, since they were much larger then them, and they played for them. Having an audience now, they too took pleasure in it.

Boris watched as she danced, admiring her passion put into it. She pulled him close to dance with her and he happily joined in, sliding his cheek by hers and then pulling back as he lifted one hoof, put it forward and then bowed before jumping up and made a leap next to her, his boa rubbing gently by her. He tossed it around her neck and gripped the end as it swung around her neck pulling her close to him. Now they were face to face and he slowly guided them in a swift circle, eying her with his amber orbs before the animals music became slower and almost dropped to an end.
"Nice dancing." He smiled as he let go and walked past her, the boa sliding from around her neck and back into place on the huge cat-like stallion. He started walking and looked down at the musical animals, winking at them and then looked back with a charming smile.
"Lets call it a night. We hit it out with a bang." He laughed lightly and looked back over where the amusement park was. "You can stay here tonight and we'll head back in the morning. If you don't mind sleeping with me?" He teased playfully. He didn't mean sleep, sleep but a simple cuddle. He was just making a perverted joke.

Madoka's breath was a little bit heavy. She hasn't danced since she was a foal, but it felt good. Her legs seemed to remember how to move with the music. And looking over at Boris it seemed like the night was now over. She looked around them, and her ears twitched and perked up when he started to talk to her.
Sleep there, with him. A blush came to her cheeks as the thought of it. "S-sleep with you?" She looked over at him and smiled with a nod. She'd do it, she had actually wanted to spend the night with Boris for a while now, but felt it would be to forward to ask him to stay. The perverted joke seemed to go over her head.
With his lead, she would follow him out of the forest, and back to the amusement park. It was probably good timing because on the way back, she started to feel really tired. It had been a busy day.
