Grimer is hit hard by the beam. Being a poison type, the psychic energy courses through his body and causes intense pain. Grimer is then knocked over to Ganz's feet, where he faints.
"Humph. You win this time. Of course you were using that thing though."
With that, Ganz left for his quarters. When Grimer recovered, he was in for a scolding.

Kimika sticks her tongue out at Ganz. "I may be a newbie, but I know how to Pokemon battle! I've got four badges already!"

Daichi stands up, gently patting Jing's head to wake him up. The Doduo woke up, trotting up beside his trainer. Daichi walks up to Ganz and Kimika, giving what looks like a glare to both of them, then continues to walk.

As the battle between Kimika and Ganz finished, Archer walked in leading a young man behind him. He walked up to Daichi and said, "Ah, there you are, Daichi."

Archer smiled at Daichi. "I have a simple task for you," he said motioning to the man, "This here is Miko, a new recruit. I was hoping you'd show him around."

"Daaaaaaichiiii!!!" Kimika shouts, grabbing Daichi's arm. "Can I come with you, please?? Please please please????" she asks, her eyes sparkling.

The young man nods and follows Daichi.
Archer smiles as Daichi leads the new recuirt away. 'This time...' he thought, 'We may be able to succeed.'

Kimika follows alongside them, clinging to Daichi's arm, humming a little. Missy followed behind her trainer, humming a little with her.

Daichi looks at Kimika, then pats her head before approaching a line of lockers. He looks at the young man, tapping a locker. "Yours." he says, before pulling out a small key. "Don't lose it."

(Yeah, I got nothing else to do but pat Kimika's head...)
Daichi looks around the locker room, then opens a Poke ball on his belt, releasing Arc, his Growlithe. Arc stretches his front legs out, ruffling his fur, then barks at Daichi.
