Wisp went cross-eyed, and then closed one eye, squinting down the length of his muzzle at the flower that Terentia had carefully balanced there.
'So I do..' he replied, moving little so that it didn't topple off his nose. He dropped his head, letting the flower roll to his mouth and tilted it swiftly so that he didn't lose it, parting his lips and grasping the stem firmly with his teeth.
He wiggled across the grass, pushing with his legs so that he didn't have to stand and move, and tucked the flower in her mane, looking long at her before moving back.
'It looks better on you..' he said with a smile, watching as she rested before him.

Terentia smiled as she saw him with the flower, he looked like a puppy who had a biscuit on the end of his nose. She tilted her head slightly with a small smile as the flower rolled into his mouth. He leaned over to her and rested it in her hair. She looked a little shocked at the moment. A small blush in her face as she looked up at him, then her eyes went to the floor. "T-thank you." She smiled with a war glow. Her long hair stroke the floor. Her black eye having a abnormal sparkle to it. Her little head wings flapped happily, much so like a dog wagged its tail. She swallowed a lump in her throat. She should be heading back, she only intended it to be a quick hello. Yet once again she found herself not wanting to leave the beautiful blue fairy.
She looked up at him, nose to nose, her eyes looking into his. "Well what do you want to do now? I have to admit. I need to go home soon. I have missed a lot of work in my break and the humans will be worried that me not coming to bless their crops is a sign of a bad harvest." She stated, sometimes she wished she was not as busy, however she felt like she was doing something important, he felt like the humans needed her, as did many creatures. It would be selfish of her to just do what pleased her, she was not planning to leave for several more moments, however what she did know, with out a doubt is that she would be back. To see her fairy prince once more. There was a silence for a moment, a gentle breeze blowing past them.

Wisp's wings opened and closed, a long and slow movement, like a butterfly sunning itself on a flower. He was sure that the lovely mare in front of him could see inside him, and know what he was thinking, but how could that be so when he wasn't sure himself? All he did know was how comfortable he felt with Terentia, how much he'd looked forward to seeing her again, and now she was speaking of going, her visit fleeting as she had much to do.
'Nothing? There doesn't have to be a purpose for everything, a task or a job. This is good too, just sitting, talking and enjoying each other's company.' he answered, though his spirits had lowered a little knowing that at any moment she would be off again.
'Stay a while longer Terentia, for me?' he pushed his lower lip out, attempting to look like a hurt puppy.

Terentia looked at him and nodded, he was right, they did not have to do anything, just sitting down here with him was fun enough, she smiled and closed her eyes leaning her head against his shoulder. "Your right... and okay, just because its you. Just for a little longer." She whispered to him. Her hair falling onto him, resting on his legs and hooves. His hair also seemed to be cuddling her, then again it was so long, just being so close to him meant it appeared to be eating her alive. With that face he could have got her to do anything, she smiled. I guess she could put off her jobs for a little longer. Maybe if she went tomorrow they would not be too worried. She knew if worst come to worst and she was found... occupied. Her younger sister Rosabis would do it for her... god help the humans if that was the case. Her sister was a little not all there in the head if you knew what she meant.
"Hmm... I like being here you know. It was all I could think about when I was away, strange I know, but for some reason I had a feeling this is where I was meant to be, even though I loved seeing my brother again." She stated with a small smile, her eyes rising to look up at the blue flutter male, he was not so small when he was like this. Her head was still rested on his shoulder resting. She knew he liked her being here too, from his last sentence when he said he wanted her to stay for him. Even though she was not sure what he meant by that, she would stay as long as he wanted her to.

Wisp moved slightly next to her, shifting so that he would comfortably be able to support her head for however long she wanted to rest it there without him having to move for any reason. Her hair was soft, and slightly tickly where it fell on the more sensitive part of his leg, but he didnt twitch, just nosed at her mane, enjoying the scent and warmth of her resting on him. Oh how his mother would have loved to be here at this point!
That made his ears twitch, and for a moment he was a little more alert, but hearing nothing but the sound of Terentia's steady breathing he relaxed again.
'There's always time to rest for a while, just be you and not worry about pleasing anyone else..' he said softly, fanning his wings open and shut again. He listened to her words, and caught her upward gaze and smiled down at her, for once feeling a little larger.
'Maybe you think what I think?' he asked carefully, casually, well trying to sound so anyways. 'There's something...between us?'

She smiled, getting comfortable as he moved. It was harder to do that than anything else in the world. Terentia was a women who loved to make others happy. Always. She felt like she had a job to do that she owed the world something, so even though she could try to just spend some time on her own. To do the things she wants. However it seemed easier with him around. Then she heard what he said. Her face gaining a pinky tinge. She looked up at him. Before looking back at the floor. Not really knowing what to say. She supposed she felt something, however so many people had done this to her, so many people had made her feel like it was the real thing and them running away from her. She had no idea what to think, or if she was willing to take a chance like that again. She was scared. Yet happy at the same time, did that mean he thought there was something between them. Something special?...
"I- I- ... think that there might be something. What do you think? do you like me Wisp?" She asked, looking up into his eyes. Seeming to get closer to his side. Maybe her subconscious was telling her, if she got closer eventually she would just kind of disappear. This was so embarrassing. These moments when waiting for him to reply seemed to last forever. However she could not have asked for a more beautiful place, a more romantic scene. It was so bright, colorful. Full of life. Totally different from her cold mountain home.

'I do Tere, I like you alot..' He laid one of his delicate wings against her back, trusting her not to move whilst it was there as they were easily damaged. He moved a leg, tucking it back instead of forward where it was, and looked skyward.
'I wouldn't want to lead you on, or make promises that I couldn't keep. That's why I say as much as I feel I should. Though I felt as if I didn't let you know at least a little of what I feel growing inside me for you, then I might pop..' Wisp smiled, looking at the mare and gently tugging at her mane, almost gently grooming for a strand of the hair before letting it fall again.
'I wouldn't do what others have done.' he said softly, nestling against her, trying to show that despite him being a flutter he was a support if he needed it.

Terentia remained still as he talked to her, watching as his elegant yet fragile wing layed rest of her body. Drawn to his words and his face, it all that seemed to exist at the moment. Was he saying this? what he said to her was so lovely, so much so her heart skipped a beat then started to pound harder than ever. She swallowed a lump in her throat and and thought. He did seem to be telling her the truth, however they all had said that. This time though there was something different, no poetic speeches, no drama filled situations. He was no fairy tale night. However he was sweet. He was normal a person who did nothing but love life. Love his family. Maybe even though there was no dramatic story behind them, no epic adventure, they could just fall in love. Two strangers, who came together, and found out they liked each other. It seemed so simple, however she liked it that way.
"Wisp. I- I could not stop thinking about you, over the last few days. I know I like you Wisp. I was just too scared to say it. Listen Wisp. I think we have something special. I would like, to give it a try you know. Me and you, see how it blooms. See what can come out of it. What do you think? I could spend a few days here. See how things work out." She smiled rubbing her nose against his neck. In some kind of hug.

He could hear her nerves, her trepidation in her words, yet she wasn't saying no, no to trying again, to opening her heart to someone that shouldn't leave her. Truthfully no one could make that promise, the future was always before but never seen until the present moment. What he could give say was that given the choice, he would always choose Terentia.
'I'm glad, I was the same. You made a lasting impression, and I found my thoughts drifting to you.' Wisp lipped at one of her ears, before speaking again.
'Yes, I'd like that, I think we should see if our connection flourishes..' Of course he was determined that theirs would be a healthy relationship, neither failing to flower nor fading too soon.

Terentia would be the first mare to admit, she did not know how to be a girlfriend. She had never ever been a very affectionate mare, she would come for a small cuddle every so often, or a quick kiss, when she sat down with people close to her, she would lean on them, talk to them. Every so often saying she loved them. However she was not one to take complements well, if anything they made her feel awkward if given them too much. To her being with someone meant more than just fluff. It was being able to rely on someone to be able to trust them. Come to them with problems, for them to be your support, someone to lean on and share your life with. She hoped he felt the same.
"Thank you Wisp, that's really reassuring to here. Will your mother and family mind me staying? I would not want to inconvenience anyone. Plus I can not sleep in flowers like you can." She smiled, looking at him with caring eyes. She wanted this to work she really did, it actually made her happy she was getting a second chance. After all, she had come out of one life mating, she was afraid that others would see her as damaged. After trying to have children with another male for nearly half a year. How thankful she was she did not, for she did not know what she would do, as a mother alone. She had always seen it as unfair to raise children with out a father, they were as important as mothers.
"Thank you for letting me stay Wisp." She smiled, leaning against his shoulder once more, happily. Closing her eyes once again. Taking in the sent of his long and silky hair. He was so warm, so comfortable to be with.

The sun really was very warm today, and so was Tere's body pressed against his. The warmth and the feeling of comfort from speaking ones thoughts, and hopes with someone you hoped to build a future with was making him pleasantly drowsy, though he was making sure he stayed awake as that would be unforgivable whilst she was talking!
'Of course not, I think I should have asked if you minded staying here, my father is off and away right now, but my mother will likely be pestering you when she's not intoxicated.' he chuckled faintly.
'Thank you for staying.' Wisp replied, nuzzling the mare softly, his nose going into her mane. 'And for being you..'

Terentia laughed quietly. "I am looking forward to it! she seems like such a nice women. I would like to get to know her better, maybe as much as she would like to get to know me. Plus it will be nice to talk to someone about girlie things for a change. She might even teach me a thing or two." She smiled, leaning her her down, so it was resting just in font of him. Today had taken it out of her too. A long flight and then all this happening all at once was enough to take down one in much better shape than her. A small blush came onto her face, she could not pretend to be anything else. She was the worst actress in the world. Its her that should be thanking him, he was so sweet and so understanding. She was lucky that a male like him would even look at her in the way that he did.
"Wisp, can we rest for a while?" She asked, his father might have been away yet she was looking forward to his return. She wanted to meet all of his family, she also wanted him to meet hers however she was sure that would take some time, to say the two could not have been brought up in places that were more far away and complete opposite. Before he could even reply she found herself wondering off to the land of sleep. Her hair veiling most of her face. The sun basked down upon them, keeping them warm, the grass was a very comfortable bed, more so to the cold stone that she was used to. Wisp by her side was like a huge teddy bear, He made her feel safe, wanted.

Wisp chuckled softly. He was sure Tere was just being polite, but if she did get on with his mother he would love even more, as it would show just how much patience she had.
'For as long as you like.' he replied, kissing her gently on her forehead with his nose, and listened to the sound of her breathing. It grew deeper and even more steady, and he realised she had dozed off.
He lay there for a while longer before he too closed his eyes, thinking on what had happened today, how he'd hoped he'd recognise the feelings when they happened, and was glad he had been able to. Letting her go would have been a mistake, and not telling her that he was developing feelings beyond friendship an even bigger one.
