Remembering earlier, he sweat dropped as he watched out the corner of his eye how she tried to copy him, having a feeling that she might just end up falling in. He was relieved that she didn't and actually managed it for a short while. Not many could do what he had grown up being able to do. He cast a soft, appreciative smile at her attempt and watched as she retracted back to a normal stance.
"Sure we can! I live off of fish, birds and rat's most of the time."He stood up straight and looked back down at the rocks he was balancing on. "The trick is to stretch out your front legs, and keep your back legs straight or... If your at the edge of a rock or a banking, just keep your hooves balancing on right on the half way point and bend your front legs, still keeping your back end in the air." He instructed, trying to imagine himself doing it and rolled his eyes upward as he did so. He gave a mellow, mischievous chuckle and jumped onto a bigger rock dangerously close to her, so their coats were once again touching.
"Here, I'll help." He lowered his head and pushed his nose under her right knee joint to lift and push a bit further so it bordered the edge of the rock she was on. "Now, all you need to do is do the same with the other and lean forward... Just! Be careful... Okay?" In his face you could see the thought and care it had with a blush that had slowly formed at their closeness and him teaching her his ways and his ears that had fallen back. She was the first person who was interested in his abilities. He just hoped she didn't end up hurt, like she had been earlier.

A blush came to her cheek when she realized he had been watching her. She looked to the side and shuffled slightly. "Embarrassing myself..." Madoka spoke aloud to herself. Then she felt him move to the rock closer to her, because his side was touching hers. This spooked her slightly, causing her to gasps, and her heart to skip a beat.
She was repeating what he had said over and over in her head. She bent her knee when he nosed at the joint, and she wobbley did the same with her other leg. Her body was shakey, and at any moment, from the muscle strain she would fall forward right into the water.
She maintained her position and giggled looking over at him. "I did it!" It was of course not as graceful looking as his, but she was able to keep the stance. Well that was until she looked over at him, and -splash-. Water was sent up and landed on Boris along with a fish. As the water fell and settled Madoka laughed.
"I-it'll take some practice." Not that she minded, that would mean she would get to see Boris more often. She hoped that he would want to be her friend too.

Boris was delighted that she had managed it, she was doing it! His fangs were showing in the process of a smile when - SPLASH! Water flew into the air and a pink and black figure which was once a mare was swallowed by the river and was just sat there in her half failed attempt.
His eyes widened now soaked by the tidle wave, with a clueless face as to what just happened. A fish flapping ontop of his head. "Well at least you saved the trouble of fishing. Your first catch!" He laughed as she set out into laughter too. Their joyful echo's swirled in the air until she spoke again, through the soft fading laughter.
"Your right. Next time, hopefully you won't end up so wet." He winked, chuckling. Then realizing the fish was still on his head he twitched his ears against it so it made funny faces, it's mouth squishing together and growing larger and he set out into laughter again before tossing it into the air and gripping it in his mouth, sitting down on his rear. His tail wagged side to side as he stared at her with chibi cat eyes, the fish in his fangs.

Madoka smiled at him, before she worked her way up and out of the river. She shook off, and glanced over to see him now with the fish in his teeth. What luck for her right? "So it looks like i might b-be quite the accomplished f-fisher horse." She laughed, and walked over stand next to him. Her eyes caught sight of some lake weed in his mane and she leaned over, letting her nose snuff lightly into his hair, before she pulled it off him.
"Though it seems like I'd make quite the mess." She dropped it on the rocks. It was strange, his mane smelt really good to her. She tilted her head some, was it normal for manes to have scent? She really couldn't remember. But it seemed right. Her parents, they had a scent about them that always made her feel home and safe.
When the laughing died down, the silence didn't seem overbearing. As she stood next to him, she looked down. "Where do y-you live? Maybe I could v-visit you sometime?" Rather then leaving meeting again to chance, this was a sure fire way to make it happen.

Boris stayed completely still in the silence, she played with his mane with her muzzle and he stared into the water at them both for a short while. It was so silent for a time that the clock for a heart could be heart ticking and his eyes fell sad for a moment, knowing they would have to part soon. This land wasn't like the Heartlands night and day didn't switch when it felt like it. It was timed.
He slowly looked around at her and lifted himself back to a stand. She was close and he could smell the scent from her coat and hear her breathing. He dropped the fish onto the rock where the lakeweed had fallen and walked closer to her. His eyes stared straight into hers with a small smile.
"Heartland." He stated. "It's a magical place, unlike here. That's where my herd is. The amusement park herd." He looked to the side. "I-I... Would like it if you visited. I'll take you there and maybe... You could even stay?" He looked back at her longingly, with a look that Boris hadn't had in a long time.

Madoka's ears twitched to the sound of his voice. It changed. She had never heard of such a place, but then again, she barely knew anything about this place herself. "Amusement park herd?" She tilted her head some. "I think I would v-very much like to visit, though... I would get lost, before I found it, so y-you'll have to come and take me there." She smiled at him, hoping that would cheer him up some.
So it was magical? She wondered why this was the first she heard of it, but then again she could have been reading to much into it. Now that he was standing, he was taller then her, not by a lot, but enough to see the difference. She wiggled her butt a little and smiled at him. "I don't really have a home, but I generally stay around the river over that way." She nodded her head so he could know the direction.

Now he knew where she lived! He could come visit her whenever he wanted now. He smiled and watched as she wiggled her butt, he wondered if that was her way of 'wagging her tail.' He tilted his head to the side and nodded some.
Foreigner's... Was that the reason he was growing attached so easily? Or was that the loneliness growing on him? Either way it was a strange feeling and it would be like old times again once she entered the Heartland's. No way was Blood, Peter or anyone going to take her away. Not this time. He looked sidewards with his ears flat, sequencing the thoughts before they perked again and he was looking over Madoka with two, eager amber eyes.
"How about I walk you down river, to your home?" He suggested. "I'll come see you sometime and we can have some more fun."

"Really?" She beamed at him. She didn't like going home alone. But it was something she had to do now, that she didn't have a herd anymore. She carefully walked across the rock, stumbling a little, as she moved to the other side of the river. This time not falling, her legs betting a bit wet. "You promise you'll c-come?" She glanced back at him.
After he answered, she led him down the not so well worn path to the normal path. And then she walked next to him. She would keep glancing at him, and then away. As if to make sure she wasn't dreaming, or seeing things. But to her dismay, it had to end when they reached the area she resided in.
She hesitantly said her good bye to Boris, just as the sun was starting to set.
