Corvus was about ready to let into his small amount of anger and attack the green female. But he managed to restrain himself and even as she went for his neck again he stood firm, not backing out of the way. Her teeth sank into his neck and he let out a howl of pain. Without thinking he wretched his body away from her, making those puncture wounds much deeper. There was a hint of fear in his eyes and the pain ran through him. Blood ran from his wounds along his green fur and he did the only thing that he could think of. Turning he dashed off towards his pack. If the female chose to follow him then he would call for help, but he did not want the others to get hurt.

The flesh, the blood that she tasted as she bit into his neck filled her with a rush. He hadn't even tried to move away, he just let her bite him. This just proved that he was stupid. When he pulled himself away she could hear the satisfying sound of his flesh ripping from her sharp teeth. Blood coated her teeth and dripped from her maw. Oh it felt so good to draw blood again.
Then in a surprise move the male turned and ran off. This confused her even more than him letting her successfully attack him. Can't let the prey get away, she told herself and chased after him. Thealia was hot on his tail for a while before she backed off. Not that she wanted to let the beast go, no but another though crossed her mind and for this to work she would need him alive - for now. Slowing her pace she watched the green males retreating form for a few moments before turning and padding off. She would let him think that he won by running away, this would work to her advantaged later on. With an evil smile on her blood covered maw Thealia set off to return to her pack and report this encounter to Penthesila.
