Eolande's attention shifted to Takuma for a few moments when he worked on eating the food he'd been gifted. Afterwords her blue eyes moved towards the nearby counters. She had come to indulge in her usual manner, but for some reason she found herself unwilling to wander off quiet yet. Why? When Lelani spoke so proudly of her future goals, and Tobi returned in a sort of semi-kind way that he just might listen..well... maybe that was it? She did like music.
Eolande lifted a hand up and brushed her fingers through her striped hair. She shifted back a step and forced herself to look back at the group. "Music is a nice pursuit. It's a good hobby too." What more could she possibly say? "I find it rather enjoyable myself. Though...I'm certainly not into the singing part. I prefer composing personally. Ah...what about you two?" She asked as she looked at Takuma and Tobi. "Either of you musically inclined?"

Tobias shook his head when asked, "No, I cannot compose nor can I sing. Nor have I learned how to play an instrument." His mismatched eyes narrowed slightly as he searched his memory, already knowing what he'd said was true. Two classes learning how to play a recorder didn't count, especially since he'd dropped that class when he'd been sent to a different school after his parents died. Yes, mandatory music lessons didn't count much, even with his sharp memory he doubted he could play even a fraction as well as he could when he was a child. Screeching and missed notes included.
He had done a little singing with his mother, little childish songs and rhymes but that had stopped. A lot of little things stopped now that he thought about it. Things that a large part of him shied away from. Things that hurt to think about. He hated that feeling of melancholiness that came with memories. The things he remembered could never be touched again.

Takuma shook his head. "Other than the occasional karaoke I don't really do anything pertaining to music... I'm not very good at coming up with things myself." At least karaoke was easy. Just remember what to say when and how and it was done. "Signing isn't that bad but I can't imagine coming up with the lines on my own and it doesn't really hold my interest." He paused wondering what the girls found so interesting about such a creative endeavor. "Have you finished any songs Eolande?"
It all seemed like a hassle. Anyone that displayed talent and got far to any degree would have to fend off or join the countless vultures of the music industry. How could anything like that be worth it at all?
