Akatsuki Announcement Okay guys, I've decided to follow the manga a little bit more when it comes to the affairs of this tribe. No, the Akatsuki Tribe is not bent on world domination |I don't think the rest of the shop would appreciate it if I did that| or go killing random foxes. They're just a dark tribe after their own goals and not caring who gets hurt for being in their way. Please note:: I do NOT want your foxes to be causing massive amounts of drama. They keep to themselves more than anything else and only deal with foxes who come in their way as necessary. Sure, we may have some issues with other tribes and may be "enemies" with some of them, but I don't want any wars or nonsense being started. The aim of the foxes in the tribe are going to be more focused on being the best they can be. They now travel in pairs going out and honing their skills. They come back to the tribe frequently, but not until they feel fulfilled in what they set out to do. I will be making pairs of foxes shortly. In the meantime, I've decided to have a huge time skip to the future after the tribe has relocated and everything. It's just normal RP for now, guys. |3 Edit:: Here are the current pairs I've decided to make:: Seika x Danag Kutsuu x Kekkon Sanura x Sangre

The blind, milky white eyes of the black and white Elder opened as she lay atop of the highest point of the cliffs. She was in a meditative state for a little more than an hour now, judging by the position of the sun from when she started to now when she ended. In her meditative state she was doing nothing more than communicating with the Higher Beings watching her and her tribe. They told her of peaceful times ahead, which was a relief to the Elder. The tribe and she have had plenty of drama in the past, and he was glad that it would be ending for the time being.
Konton stood up, tail coiling in an elegant S-shape behind her. She yawned, tired from the lack of sleep, for she had not slept in two days. She had too much on her mind. Everything from her long-lost mate, to Akuma's return, to affairs with other tribes. She shook her head, dismissing these thoughts. She could not allow her mind to wander too much; the tribe was more important. She needed to maintain her focus. And besides, she was eager to share the news of peace with her fellow tribe members.
She closed her eyes. When she opened them again, what used to be a murky white color was replaced by a blood red iris with an enormous, black pinwheel for a pupil. Despite the fact that this strange ability of hers used up a considerable amount of energy, it was the only way she could see, and Konton figured it was best to use up energy to see than to not see at all.
With a soft, inaudible sigh, she approached the edge of the cliff, peering over the side down at the river below. The river had carved these cliffs and would continue eroding the sides till it dried. The Akatsuki Tribe would stay with this new land as long as that river was still there.

A black and white vixen meandered her way through the forest, weaving her way carefully through the trees. She had been here before, on numerous occasions, actually, and therefore was already familiar with the area while the rest of the tribe was still growing accustomed to it. She was the one who had shown them here in the first place after the devastation of the old tribe lands. It saddened her to know that her dearest brother, Frenka, was gone and never coming back. It had taken time for that to sink in, but she had finally accepted it. She has had to deal with loss before; the feeling was familiar. Not to mention she could not help but be somewhat glad that the tribe was starting anew as well. Konton would lead them well.
Akuma's eerie gray eyes remained fixed ahead of her. She knew where she was going, despite the fact that she was in something like a trance. She had walked this route too many times in her absence, but she knew that she would have to face life eventually. In spite of events in the past, her affair with Dorchet, her three kits from that litter, her brother leaving her, not being able to face her mate, Kinovu, et cetera, she had come to terms with the fact that she was going to have to move on at some point.
The density of the forest was gradually decreasing as she approached the tree line. She knew the edge of the cliff was not far before her. It was exactly where she had intended to go.

Things were different now. Notably so. It was almost as if, in some small way, the tribe mindset had changed over time. Kekkon didn't particularly mind though, for at least things seemed to have settled down for a while. Just how long it would stay that way however was unknown. In all of his life that he had spent with this tribe it always seemed as if something was going to be lurking around the corner. Whether it be harsh winters, a crazed elder, or the total death of the land.
Their current location was nice though. The cliffs, river and forest were a refreshing change, and the hunter felt a small sense of serenity for once. Perhaps here things would be better after all.
Currently the black and red fox was with Kutsuu, although what it was they were supposed to be doing he had forgotten. The whole traveling in pairs thing seemed slightly odd to him, but hey, whatever worked. He had no reason to oppose it.

He was not used to this.
The black and white fox gandered briefly at his "partner", the red and black male by the name of Kekkon. It was ood; this entire travelling in pairs thing was something very, very new. Whatever idea Konton had that created this system remained a mystery to him, but he decided not to question it too much. After all, the system helped everyone, including himself. Indeed, taking down prey with only two foxes was a difficult task to accomplish, but it made him better at what he did.
Twigs scattered about the forest floor made hardly a sound as white paws swiftly, yet carefully, fell upon them as Kekkon and he continued their way along. He did not want to alert any prey nearby. Speaking of prey... "Smell that?" he asked, sniffing the air.

Kekkon nodded, his red multi-pupiled eyes now on the look-out for anything that moved. There was prey nearby... smelled like deer. Slipping into hunting mode, the fox instinctively crouched down a bit as he silently made his way closer toward the smell.
There. He could see clearly on the other side of the brush: a lone stag, grazing peacefully on some grasses. It was at times like this where having a partner in hunting became quite useful; while his unusual eyes might give him a great advantage when it came to hunting, dealing with a large beast that had that many horn was never a fun thing.
Turning to look back at Kutsuu, he signaled for him to try to sneak around to the other side of the beast. When one could scare prey toward another lying in wait, hunting actually became much easier.

Kutsuu's eyes locked onto the stag for a few moments, his body perfectly still as he examined it. It was a very healthy stag, one capable of escaping from a fox, though he knew that his partner and he were not novices as they once were. He remembered the times when...
He blinked. Now was not the time for remembering anything. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Kekkon signal to him. With a slight nod of his head he crouched down low to the ground, slinking around Kekkon to the stag. He kept to the treeline, knittinig his way through the shadows. He was silent as he moved, something he was very good at.
At this point, he had rounded to a point directly in line with the stag. The stag was somewhat alert now, suspicious of its surroundings, just as every dear was. He was not too concerned with that.
His piercing blue eyes were fixed directly on the deer, and he knew it could feel him looking at him, just it could not see him. Kutsuu was always a little amused by that.
It wasn't more than a minute or two before he sprang out of his cover with a snarl, darting towards the deer at full speed. The startled, frightened stag quickly turned around, dashing in the other direction. Straight for Kekkon.

Seeing that Konton seemed to have finally finished with her meditation, Akakumo took the opportunity to land on the cliff near her. He had already flown several cursory sweeps of the land earlier that day, and everything seemed to be well and in order. "Good afternoon, Konton," the guardian said with a polite bow. "There do not appear to be any threats in the vicinity."---------------------------- How had things returned to this? How had she ended up back in the life of solitude that she so greatly detested, yet could not object to? Her mate was missing, her children were grown and gone, and now Ren had been left to wander the world on her own again, wondering if she would ever see them all again.Well, she wasn't entirely alone. Her daughter would come find her on occasion and stay for a while; but she had a life of her own now, and there was no way that Ren was going to try to tie down the beautiful and sweet phim to ground life. But still, it had stung when her mate had left and not returned. So now she simply wandered, traveling through old and familiar forests to enjoy the scenery. This place is no longer empty, she noted to herself, catching the scents of several other foxes on the land. Has a tribe settled here? The striped vixen paused where she was, hesitant to continue forward. Would it be better for her to back-track and go around, or should she risk cutting through the tribe lands and possibly running into some other foxes? It was too late actually, for before she could really consider going back a black and white vixen showed up before her. "Ah, forgive me for intruding," she said apologetically, careful not to make too much eye contact with the other. "I hadn't realized that others had moved here until just now. I'll pass through quickly." (Edited. The last part got cut off due to post size restrictions, so that will remain uncolored.)

Argintie padded across the ground, dampening his flames enough not to set any of the surrounding vegetation on fire, though the closest plants still turned black as he passed. He was on his way to meet the elder of the tribe...well, they were. Argintie looked behind him to see the only companion he'd had for the longest of times. He swiped his tail and knocked Kito over slightly, earning a glare form the smaller fox.
Argintie smirked and turned back around, catching sight of the white and black Elder of the Akatsuki, Konton. She was staring out over a cliff, so he paced over and stopped just behind and to the side of her and flexed his wings slightly. He gave a cursory glance to the Guardian, but focused more on the Elder.
"Hello. I'm Argintie and this is Kito." He said, giving a short jerk of his muzzle to indicate the small blue fox behind him. Kito stumbled and righted himself with an annoyed grumble at the 'Deava. He wasn't sure he was cut out for being in a tribe but Gin had persuaded (bullied) him into it. Kito shook his head and sent another glare at the 'Deava for good measure.
He followed Gin up to the elder and nodded politely at her, even if he was half hidden behind Gin. His attention was more fixed on the large guardian that was standing next to the elder. It was bigger than Gin, and the silly 'Deava was just ignoring him.

Konton knew the black, white, and red Guardian had been circling for quite a while now. It was kind of him to not descend while she was in her trance. She turned towards him as he spoke, smiling. "I know. The Modeities have sent me word of peaceful times ahead," she replied. "I think we deserve the time more than anything else, actually," she added with a light chuckle, looking out toward to other side of the cliffs. "I thank you for staying with us all this time, Akakumo. It's been a pleasure having you around."
The black and white vixen stopped before the other fox. It was not in the nature of this tribe to be particularily welcoming of other foxes at the moment, but it was worse to be rude to them. It was an odd balance they had to maintain, but Akuma had already grown quite used to it. She had to live with not being too welcoming of others but not too harsh all her life. Unfortunately, most of the time she was too harsh.
She listened as the other vixen apologized and she shook her head. "It's understandable," she stated with a shrug. "This tribe is new to these lands as well; we recently had to move," she explained breifly. "These are the lands of the Akatsuki Tribe. I'm Akuma, the shaman of this tribe."

Kekkon watch, silent and still as death, as Kutsuu moved around to get to the other side of the stag. The white and black fox was quite skilled at blending in spite of the bright parts of his pelt, and Kekkon also had to mentally commend him for that. He was a damn fine hunter, and the red and black fox couldn't ask for a better partner.
Perfect. The were aligned in just the right way for the trap. His muscles tensed as Kutsuu sprang, and sure enough the stag came straight his way. Kekkon waited for just the right moment before springing into action for the kill. He lunged right at the throat of the startled beast, clamping down with a death grip as the stag desperately attempted to kick and pull away. It was difficult to hold on though with the strength that the prey possessed.

Konton turned to the two male foxes who had appeared. 'A 'Daeva, hm?' she thought to herself. They had not had a 'Daeva in the tribe for ages, ever since the Red Clouds had come the first time. "Greetings, Argintie and Kito," she spoke in her calm, fluid voice. "What brings you here to the Akatsuki Tribe?" she asked. They could be here to join, or they could be here to simply be passing through and showing some respect to the fact that this is tribe territory... though Konton doubted the latter. Knowing 'Daevas, they weren't the type to show too much respect to things like that.

"It has been my pleasure," Akakumo replied with a smile to Konton's thanks. "That is what my kind is for after all." The guardian watched as the deava and fox duo approached and spoke with Konton. A deava, hm? he thought to himself. The dragon had only encountered very few modideavas in his life, but he remembered them to be a generally disagreeable lot., This would certainly be interesting.
-----------------
Akatsuki? Ren was not very familiar with that tribe name. Then again, she wasn't very familiar with any of the tribe names, being that she kept mostly to herself. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Shaman Akuma. My name is Ren." Multi-ringed eyes looked the other vixen over briefly in a curious manner. She had heard once that shaman had special powers for healing and was curious as to whether that was actually true. She wasn't about to actually ask however. "Well, I certainly hope that you and your tribe enjoy your new home here. Tis a lovely land." Her eyes turned to the forest past the black and white vixen. "How far out does your territory extend, if I may ask? Just so that I know when I am officially out of tribe lands."

Argintie looked down at the elder and swallowed his normal smartass comments. "We've come to request joining your tribe. I would be a good addition to your hunters and he," he sidestepped so that Kito was in plain sight again, "while not much, he's good with kits if you are in need of a carer."
Kito pinned his ears back. He wasn't the most outgoing fox in normal situations, but being under regard from an elder was going to start to make him stutter. "I-I am. I'm normally better with kits than adult foxes." He said in his soft voice.

The black fox had always been a loner, and the ages of the death and destruction of the old tribe lands hadn't helped the issue. She jumped from tree to tree, smelling other foxes off to the distance. She'd been wandering for weeks by herself, gorging herself on whatever she could find.
She knew where she was going. Sangre picked out the Elder's scent the most; another scent stuck out that she hadn't smelled for many moons.
Akuma.
She dropped the squirrel in her mouth and shot off, bloodlust eyes shining as she ran towards the cliffs.

It would bleed out and die eventually, Kutsuu knew that much. Kekkon had its neck securely in his vise, yet he could still get injured with that beast kicking. He sprinted towards it, reaching it within moments; the stag wasn't used to running with the weight of a full grown adult fox holding it back. Kutsuu ran alongside it, patiently waiting for the moment to catch its leg. It would require perfect timing.
The time was now. He snapped his jaws on its hind leg, quickly yanking it backward with all his might. The stag fell over with a squeal as it lost its balance, however, Kutsuu was forced to release his grip on its leg to evade a kick. With the stag on the ground, he quickly lunged onto it, pinning it down with his own body weight. It would not be able to get up with the weight of two adult male foxes on it.
