Dash, hands-down. One of the few RPers I can count on to make me laugh on a consistent basis, and sheer fun to interact with. I shouldn't (at least, I hope I shouldn't) have to link anything.

Darsh (who is obviously Dash in disguise. You can't hide behind that 'r'! . . . or, er, 'endros', either!) for pulling off some truly epic feats of Magnificent b*****d-ry and large-scope villainy. See: The last . . . hm, 40 pages or so of City of Durem.

Maximos, because I wish that I were, 1: actually capable of writing posts that long, and 2: keeping them interesting enough to read through them. Again, I don't think links are necessary.

Griff. What can I say? The man is gloriously and unrepentantly cheesy. Entertainment ensues.

Leify, and his many mules.

Only character from Gaia that gained such recognition for his various roleplays, and testing of each of the new games and forums that were created on Gaia... that they patented his avatar/original character, and sold it. You can buy a t-shirt with his character on it.

He could play with anyone, and be put into any type of setting and manage to create an interesting diaologue and interaction with whatever group that he was in.

Prince of Velvet and Blood (sp?). He had the most amazing charisma. People followed him because he made you feel good about yourself, and he played both villains and heroes. His guild was active with fights that are better than anything I've seen in this guild or the HoH tournament, he created wars with multiple players in waves of attacks, and lead adventures through various traps and such. He was a good GM, a leader, and everyone that knew him, loved him.

I don't think that there will be another person around like him.

Versatile. Both these guys improvised like crazy, and if you were playing with them, it inspired you to keep pace with them, and try new things Rp wise. They played a myriad of characters, and fooled around with perspectives. You gave them an idea, and they cranked out a character to fit that setting or what it was that you wanted to get from it.

I miss them both terribly.

Dragonsani Kain is like that. Not afraid to take a hit, and can create a character to fit a setting, and he plays 'bad' well.

That.

I'm also partial to Fish's style. I have yet to see someone who is as versatile as him when it comes to RPing different characters. And it's not just the characters that change, it's also the voice with which he writes each post. You will never get a post for Nikolai mixed up with a post for Kael. Or a post for Kael mixed up with one for Andell. It's very rare to come across an author that can do that and do it well.

Cog comes close to that, I think, but you can still 'hear' Cog in his posts. Where as in Fish's posts it's basically void of any personal voice. If that makes sense. I couldn't word that without it sounding weird in my head.

Myself. cool

Yeah, that's right I said it.

lololol

On a more serious note, I don't play favorites, because if I left someone out for one reason or another I would feel bad. I have preferences when it comes to styles, concepts and what-not but I like and dislike something from everyone all at once - and I have those folks who I tend to roleplay with more frequently just because I'm more familiar with them and know that I will have a good time whenever we do something - like Cog who I've been roleplaying with since like 2002 when I first started getting into RP'ing. Madi was the first levi person who I started actively posting with and so we bonded.

I've interacted with more folks along the way, picking a general 'usual' group of people. XD

I personally think this thread is silly as I haven't had a chance to roleplay with everyone so picking a favorite when I've only sampled so much from everyone would be weird, especially one of "all time".

There's still a bunch of folks who I would love to run into IC or just goof off with sometime or people I'd like to do more stuff with but just haven't had the chance yet. =D

Everyone else is just like reading Twilight.

C. Fox
Crawley, Dash and Silver.

Everyone else is just like reading Twilight.

So, I take it you're an expert Twilight analyst then, Fox? Who'dathunk.

Also, WHUT ABOUT EBRIS, SON? MORE MANREH THAN YOU PLAYING GRABASS WITH CRAWLEY, THAT'S FOR SURE.

I'd have added you there cause you're sorta like Silver,

BUT I NEVER UNDERSTAND WTF YOU'RE WRITING.

Seriously, what the s**t is a WARP?
PostPosted: Tue Mar 30, 2010 3:39 pm

Ahahaha, you're confusing Damnatus with Ebris. Entirely different characters, Fox, in just about every single thing imaginable.

Isn't Ebris a 9000 character?

How is Ebris sorta like Silver?

Or rather, how is Damnatus sorta like Silver? ._. That confuses me.

I dunno. I find a subtle similarity when Cog fights as Ebris. Cept the fighting styles and the personalities are different.

I SEE HOW IT IS, FOX.

But in all seriousness I'd have to say my two favorite RPers are opaj and JB.

It's one thing to play a character well, but both of those guys above not only play their characters, but are the best campaign inventors I've seen. I owe a vast majority of Athan's development to JB, and if it wasn't for opaj I probably wouldn't even have hung around Gaia long enough to create Athan.

For being great storytellers, for making memorable events and uniting communities, I salute you, sirs.
