Kiburi nodded and conitinued to eat until her belly was almost completely round before stretching and yawning. Why was it that eating still made her feel drowsy, or maybe that was the sun? It was a nuisance that reminded her she was still just a baby.
With a small frown she shook herself well, dust particles clouding about her as she did so.
"Kib's paws hopefully lead someplace pretty!" She chirped, for in her eyes there could be no dangerous, dark place. All she had ever seen was the beautiful lands of the pride she had been born into, surely that meant everywhere looked wonderful?
She could be naive at times...

Her daughter looked at how she was tired andsmiled, "Well come on then, we have to keep moving, it isn't safe to rest in the open and you are prey for larger rouges, now come on." She smiled at her daughter as she stood to leave. She was saddened that her daughter thought that everywhere was as beautiful as her home, it was bound to have happened but the dissapointment of finding out that it isn't. She sighed heavily, hoping that she will find out what living away from her family is like.
((do you mind if i ask others to join depending on where they are?))

Kiburi nodded, trying to will away the drowsiness that she felt, she didn't want to shame herself infront of her mother, no way! "Yes mama!" She chirped, moving to pad alongside the golden lioness.
Hopefully the adventure would allow Kiburi to think more realistically about the world than she did at the moment.
(( Yep, yep feel free! heart ))

Bakhti looked at her daughter and smiled. She knew that she would be pushing her daughter hard here and she was slightly worried about how she would react but in several ways Bakhti had tasks for her. They were indeed things that would worry and maybe scare her daughter but she wasn't letting Kiburi go unprepared. That wasn't fair, she didn't want her daughter dieing or being killed by a leopard or even a rouge lion.

The juvenile would find the going tough, there was no doubt about that. She was small, easily tired and - though she didn't know it yet - easy to scare. But with her mother by her side she felt somewhat strong, as if she could stand up to anything.
It worried her a little that when she left for good there would be no skilled, large lioness to walk by her side.
She would truly be alone.
Kiburi stalked through the long grass, still walking rather ungracefully. The hunting stealth was something she still had to learn. "Mama, how do you walk so quietly?" She spoke up suddenly, tail waving high above the grass.

Bakhti looked at her daughter and smiled, "Not now Kib. That will come at a later point, you grow to learn it naturally, after all, you are lucky, you have a family to teach you. You are the only family i will ever have, I never had the luxury of a family to look after me and nor have alot of others!" She smiled at her daughter, the hurt that she may be leaving still deep inside. "You are lucky my daughter, you are loved. Never forget that!" She lowered her head to lick the top of Kiburi's. She would miss her daughter terribly if she left but then again, at least she would be prepared.

The little lioness released a rumbling purr as her mother licked the top of her head, eyes half closing as she leaned into the affectionate kitty kiss. "Love you too mama!" And that was the truth. She adored her family more than anything else, and they were the sole reason that she hadn't left yet.
Family was important to her, with them she felt safe, loved and happy.
"Very, very lucky." She added with a smile.

Bakhti looked at her daughter, it was true that her and Mahiri were planning to have more cubs one day, but none of them would be like Kib and Mchele. She smiled as she continued to walk, she needed to decide a direction to head in. She couldn't just keep walking it would get them no where.

Kiburi had never even considered the fact that one day her mother and father might have more children. Never thought about being an older sister to little cubs. At the moment she was the youngest and Mchele was her brother. He was her friend and her sibling and she was her mother and father's little princess - so she believed.
How would she react to know that she would no longer be the youngest member of the family?
Perhaps she would be jealous?
Who knows! Only time would tell!
She walked obediently at her mother's side, paying attention to any strange landmarks to aid her on her journey when she would next walk this path alone.

Bakhti looked down at her daughter, the silence made her feel a little awkward and she wasn't quite sure what to say. She just looked down at her daughter and let out a small sigh. Maybe she could talk about other cubs? She was planing to with Mchele, but then Mchele would be sticking around to be the older brother but Kib wouldn't know them, they wouldn't know her.
"Kib dear..."
She had to ask her what she would think right? Maybe..
For now though, the jungle was closing towards them and if she was right, the leopards that were once so horrible to her would be there and if they could find Kib on her own, maybe? Oh Bakhti was being mean but she wanted her daughter to stay home.

The pearly lioness' ears twitched in her mother's direction as she snapped from her thoughts.
They had been walking for a long time now and her stride had slowed until she was thought she could go no further. The muscles in her legs felt stretched and bruised and made it uncomfortable to extend them forwards. The bounce had gone from her step and her tail was left to drag in the dirt behind her.
The spark sill remained in her eyes though and they were now turned to look up at Bakhti.
"Yes mama?"
Her nose twitched, the strange smell of the jungle reaching them.

Bakhti let the a silence drift between both her and her daughter for a while untill they had entered the jungle. This place was just as beautiful as it had been when she came here before and she expected that there was still the leopards who showed their disgust and hate towards her aswell. She shook the thoughts from her head and turned her attention back to her daughter.
"Kib, you need to rest. When we get to the waterfall up ahead I shall probably go and get something to eat, I am still a little hungry being larger then you but I want you to rest ok? You can hear most creatures in the ungle as it is hard to move silently." She smiled down at her daughter and winked. She would let it go for now, she would talk about more cubs maybe, at some other point in time, just, not now.
They continued to walk through the jungle till the sounds of the waterfall was evident. This is where Bakhti left her daughter with a lick. "I love you Kib, I won't be too long!" She winked and smiled giving out a small but loud roar. "I know you can do something like that if you try, any trouble comes call ok?" She smiled and turned to leave, hoping that in some way the roar would have got attention. She wouldn't go far in case things got nasty but at the same time, her daughter needed to come across some danger.

Kiburi's eyes stared with wonder at the place she was within. The jungle was so incredible beautful with its amazing plants and trees. The singing of birds and the calls of other strange animals constantly filled her ears. The humidity was a strange feeling and the moisture in the air made her feel even more drowsy than before.
"Okay mama, I'll be good and wait here." She gave her mother a toothy smile and yawned, settling to lie on the ground. Nodding at her mother's instruction she gave a small growling roar of her own in reply, beaming happily at its improved sound.
How could a place of such beauty be dangerous anyway?

Bakhti found somewhere that seemed like a safe spot to just lay and wait. She hoped that someone would come along, she cared not who but someone who could be dangerous to the youngster. She felt so bad wishing that something would happen especially to Kib, her own flesh and blood, her daughter! She held back the guilt and just watched her daughter, she couldn't leave the pride lands, she couldn't do that to her family.. oh how Bakhti wished she would stay.

The juvenile stretched her lithe form and lay down on the warm grass, eyes following the path of a beetle as it scuttled through the foliage. She gave a yawn, eyes closing as the drowsy feeling returned to her.
Then in a few moment her breathing evened out and she fell into a light slumber.
