[She insisted, suddenly her tone was a bit icy. What did Trouttail know? Was he the one fearing for his life because of something he wasn't meant to see? She certainly didn't think so.]
[She padded over to the river, and bent her head down to drink from the ice cold water, her tail twitching with irritation.]

F o a m p a w______________________________ [Foampaw followed Trouttail. Although she was upset that she couldn't tell him what was happening, and although she was upset that he didn't understand, she still wasn't happy about the coldness she had just placed between them.]
"That sounds fine."
[She said. As she walked past him briskly (for the second time that day) she hissed under her breath:]

F o a m p a w______________________________ [Foampaw turned her head back to him sharply, sending a rather cold stare (on accident), until she noticed he looked rather uneasy.]
"If you don't feel good, then maybe we should just catch a fish or two and then return home. You should get some rest too, before we head to the gathering."
[She padded back over to him, ready to try and support him if he collapsed, even though if he fell on her, he might very well squish her.]

F o a m p a w______________________________ [Foampaw sniffed into the air, then nodded her head in the direction the river was flowing.]
"We should head towards that border, the one that follows the river and into the sun-drown place."
[She paused and looked around, thinking deeply]
"That would be the..."
[she continued to look around the clearing by the roaring river]
"Well, Stormclan would be closer to the river than Breezeclan right? And if this is the Nightclan border, then the border down by the sun-drown place is the Seaclan and the Stormclan border, right?"
[she looked up to Trouttail, seeking both an answer and praise. Even if she had acted coldly, a mentor should be proud of his apprentice right?.........right?]

F o a m p a w______________________________ [Foampaw watched as Trouttail kept a steady pace ahead of her, as to be expected as the mentor, but the way he carried himself...it seemed so tired. Like he had not slept a full night in well over a moon.]
[However, she decided to try and lighten the mood. She didn't want her mentor to be tired during the gathering. Her FIRST gathering, rather.]
"Well of course I'll be a great warrior. I mean, just look at me-"
[She joked lightly in an exasperated tone as she pretended to bask in the sun.]
"I'm amazing"
[She continued, then briskly padded ahead of her mentor, continuing the race from earlier.]
