He watch her manage to avid the shards of fragmented ice littering the ground. The warmer night air would turn them into cold puddles sooner or later. Castor watched her, until the foliage allowed her to disappear into the folds of dark green and burnt brown. He had missed her going up into the branches. Slowly, almost calmly, the hail senshi walked towards the tree, hoping his so called enemy would just up and leave.
"You don't have to do this. We can both just walk away, the battle done. I know I'm on the negaverse hit list. Just say I kicked the s**t out of you or something" Backtracking from his original claims that he couldn't let her walk away. Perhaps the battle and attack had changed his views. "I don't want to kill Val." He was under the tree now. "I never wanted to kill." A few more steps and he would be to far to reach.
Now, or never.

Though it was impossible to see him within the dark, she heard the sound of familiar footsteps approaching. He was fast on her trail, and she knew she had not much time left. Though Castor attempted to prolong her time, by pleading with her to leave.
A chance to escape.. were his unspoken words. Clenching her eyes shut, she knew what it was that Castor was saying.. But it wasn't possible. Like he said, she could run away. Pretend it never happened.. but what about the next time? Next time, they might not be so lucky.
It had gone too far, too far for the matter to be ignored now.
It was now or never. "I'm sorry." She whispered, before taking the jump. Within seconds, she found herself crashing to the ground with the senshi, landing in a pile on top of him.. It was one way to effectively pin him to the ground. And right by his ear, her cross plunged into the ground.
It appeared that she had missed.. or had she?
Piercing golden eyes met with the senshi's own, "Kill who, Castor? What are you talking about?!" She demanded, her voice becoming shrill. The wild look in her eyes and the sweat that formed on her forehead gave away to her distress. Distress she would have hid, if she wasn't plagued by such feelings of desperate unease.
Never wanted to kill.. "Kill who?" She wondered, dreading the answer he would give. She hoped it wasn't what she thought it was.
