Griffin was out of body parts to wrap around his children's mother, so he just settled for laying his head protectively across her. He was tired enough and comfortable enough that he fell fast asleep with his little family gathered around him. He'd worry about communicating and living with her later, but for now...exhaustion in the form of sleep claimed him for its own.
