Kalina had dropped the pups of with the newly appointed pack mother, Mahuri, rather apprehensively, she was not a possessive wolf the best example of that was her relationship with Cocidius, the male was never around much preferring a solitary life. No it was more that she loved and adored her pups and this was the first time she'd of left them for an extended period of time. Though Mahuri filled her with confidence, Byrna had left her broad with the female already and she seemed to almost glow with warmth for the pups at her paws and gathered them around her protectively, Kalina nodded a confirmation to herself and then span on her heels and left her pups behind her, now concerned with reaching the hunting ground, knowing she was already late.
She did not sprint but she set a pace which threatened to break into one with the gravitational pull of running down hill fuelled. Some moment later she reached the meeting area and broke into the circle of wolves. She took one gasp of cool morning air and then cast her lavender eyes about her. She flashed Cocidius and apologising look, which he didn't acknowledge and then she met the alpha's eyes, she bowed her head, 'I apologise for being so late.'
