Kisuke walks out of the lab, heading down the road. On his shoulder sat his Chimchar. Kisuke looks at Chimchar, and smiles. "Well, buddy, ready to go on a journey?" he asks. Chimchar grins at Kisuke, nodding. "Chim chim!"

"Yeah..." Jason answered, "I was hoping I could travel around Sinnoh to collect Gym badges."

Dawn noticed another boy leaving Rowan's lab behind Jason. "Doesn't look like you're the only who just got they're Pokemon," she said with a smile nodding towards the other boy.

Kisuke notices a boy and a girl talking, both with Pokemon, and continues to walk. "Looks like they're rather busy..." he said quietly to Chimchar.

Jason looked back at the boy. "Huh?" he said, "I guess you're right. It looks like he choose a Chimchar to start off with."

Kisuke walks ahead, Chimchar still sitting on his shoulder. The small fire monkey Pokemon looks around at the town curiously.

Turtwig sniffs at the air then takes off after the other boy. "Turtwig!" it said as it ran. Jason watched as Turtwig ran off. "Hey! Come back here!" he yelled taking off after it.

"Oh dear," Dawn said watching Jason chase his Turtwig. She looked down at the Piplup in her arms. "This is why I keep you in my arms or your Pokeball."

Kisuke glances over his other shoulder, watching the Turtwig approach him. He sighs a little, and stops walking turning to the small Pokemon.

Turtwig stopped a few feet from the boy and looked up at him. "Turtwig!" it said to him.
Jason finally caught up and stopped to catch his breath.

"Hi... there..." Jason said out of breath. Turtwig turned to Jason. "Turtwig Tur Turtwig!" it said to him.

Dawn approached both Jason and other boy. "Hey, Jason," she said with a smile, "At least Turtwig didn't decide to attack his Chimchar like Piplup decided to attack him."

Jason stood up and looked at Dawn. "I guess you're right," he said. "Turtwig!" it yelled happily before it bit Jason's leg playfully. Jason yelp as he fell backwards from the sudden bite.
