Although Ebony was clearly amused and therefore probably hadn't been hurt by her relationship with Vincent, Lira still wasn't very pleased with the idea. That ignorant boy obviously had no idea of the repercussions of his actions to other people, and she was growing tired of hearing him hanging around people she cared about. When she heard about the other boy's uncouth actions, she was forced to sip her coffee once again to try and curb her irritation. However, it only worked partially, as she could not help commenting. "So, no one else after that has caught your eye?" Lira asked with a curious smile. It was fun hearing about all the good things that were happening to her friend; it made a pleasant contrast with the downturn that her life had recently taken.
