Delphina gave another soft laugh, tears slowly coming to a stop. She didn't want to cry, but after keeping all that fear inside her, being able to let it go was nice. She lifted her head, lavender eyes locking with his silver ones, smiling breaking out over her face as she returned his nuzzle.

"I missed you too...When you left. I...I don't think I'll be going to visit them anymore. It hurts to go see them... And you won't be there." Delphina lifted her wings, and settled more closely into his side. She loved how strong he was, how much bigger he was than her. She felt safe, protected, loved... It was a nice feeling to have.

Del let out another laugh, shooting him a playful look. "Pixie? Where did that come from?" He already had a nickname for her? Skies above, she was already swooning. He was the perfect stallion...and he was hers.

"I love you, too."

Ashrialto considered his various wandering adventures as he curled closer to the dainty winged mare, letting her hide her face against his neck for a few moments. He couldn't really remember when he had decided wandering was easier, easier than lingering around the herd and trying to find his place. It was better that he went out and saw the land, met new Soquili, made friends... It was easier to wander and learn to understand himself, than trying to get his family to tell him who he was.
But it was hard to leave Delphina behind... Even when they were younger she'd still been one of his best friends, like Masque and Kaishara and Chaci... They were friends, and sometimes that was harder to leave behind than family. There wasn't a whole lot you could keep from your best friends, from family yes, but never friends...
So to just up and leave them was one of the hardest things he'd ever had to do. Though he had known it was best, and he'd known he could always come back -would always come back- home, it was still hard. But then, it was worse to return and look for a certain gray face with lilac eyes, only to find she was gone.
And now? Now he didn't have to worry about that anymore, did he? Not with Del, his Del. She was a 'forever' kind of girl, exactly what he'd been looking for, waiting for, all of his life. Exactly what his grandsire had found in a spirited mare in a strange land. Exactly what his father had found in a fallen star. Exactly what Ash had found in his little pixie.
"I'm sorry." He murmured softly, rubbing his cheek against her face with a soothing murmur. "There were things I needed to do, Del... You understand, don't you? Forgive me for leaving?"
He sighed. "I visited Ty a few times, probably more than dad, actually.. To see if you were around and make sure you were ok, learned a little from Tashika of what Kassie was up to and anything she knew of you... It was all I could do since I never seemed to be able to catch you..."
He snorted and gave her a playful sulk, wrinkling his muzzle and flattening his ears. "You're hard to catch, Little Wind.. Sassy and small, with a knack for trouble one can't avoid when you spend time with Kaishara and Chaci, so don't bother to deny it..."
He nipped at a strand of her forelock, huffing affectionately at her ear. She loved him. "I'm relieved to hear it.. You'll have to save me from your father before things go too far, hmm?"

The wind mare laughed softly, pressing her muzzle against his cheek. She had left mainly to find her family, to see what she had from her mother, how similar or different she was to her brother. Aside from her white hair and the colors of her wings, the only thing she shared with her mother was her size. Her mother was a small mare, and so was she. Her father and all his muscle dwarfed her, as did Ash. She guessed that 'pixie' did fit her well.

She could never imagine having foals with two different males the way her mother had... She wanted someone, forever. Ash was her forever now, the stallion the would give her all her foals, and love her until the day they both past. One of her best friends from childhood, her love since she first was a mare, was the one.

"I was never mad at you Ash," She soothed, rubbing her muzzle against his cheek. "You had your reasons, and thats fine. I could never be mad at you my love. Ever."

She smiled, white hair falling over one eye. "Daddy would tell me when you'd have come by... Kassie told me what she'd heard of you too... I did miss you, but we'll be wandering together from now on yes?"

She laughed again, tucking her face against his neck. "Daddy will be fine Ash. He'll be relieved its you and not the other stallion..."
