Crush. Scylla commanded her power mentally to squish the jelly-like creature. Seathe? What kind of a name was that? Well, whatever it was, the powerful tentacles crushed it, sending liquid spilling over the floor. Jada felt almost bad about the little jellyfish's pitiful death.
Almost.
Now, she commanded the limbs to shove between Iris and the little girl. "No one is going to hurt you." her voice was icy. Loud. Irritatingly calm. She reminded herself of her mother when the help started squabbling. "How about you stop screaming." she moved closer to the child. She wasn't a moron. This wasn't a normal child. Normal children didn't flute-summon jellyfish.
Nothing she was saying was a question. It was as close as Iris would get to a 'stop trying to hurt this child and lets try things my way' as the other senshi was likely to get.
"Why did you break into the candy store?" A question at last, and Scylla held out her hand to Iya. "If you are hungry, I know a place where we can get you food."

Most jellyfish were poisonous and Seathe, having been fashioned in their likeness, shared that particularly useful trait with them. His white eyes blazed with disappointment when Sailor Scylla refused his hug. The little monster took a couple of steps towards the scout, heedless of the way she stuck out her hand, and was caught completely off guard by the flailing tentacles that erupted out of the floor.
Unlike his mistress, Seathe had no voice to cry out with, but his eyes grew round as saucers as the limbs of the ancient sea creature, who was every bit the jellyfish's superior, made devastating contact with his delicate frame. His was not a strong body, but the force of the tentacle's crushing action left little room for pain. The immediacy of death was, in its own way, almost merciful.
((sorry this took me so long guys. been dealing with some stuff outside of gaia))
