Vali's bright smile only grew even larger as Bleez picked out the prefect mama dinosaur name. "Oh what a beautiful name. That is with an E not an A right?" He said and with tail in hand started to write out the names one the sign.
Apatosaurus

Apatosaurus is one of the most famous dinosaurs of all time. Haven't heard of it? Well, what about Brontosaurus?
In the early 1900s A famous dinosaur scientist or palaeontologist by the name of Othniel Charles Marsh discovered what he thought were three separate species of dinosaurs. He named one Apatosaurus, one Brontosaurus, and one Atlantosaurus. However, after much study, it became clearer that the three were actually the same animal. Since the first one named was Apatosaurus, that became the official name. Yet the name Brontosaurus has lived on in popular culture.
Apatosaurus had a short snout filled with weak peg like teeth, which it used to rake leafs off of trees.
All though not as tall as some of the other Sauropods, it was was one of the heaviest.
It lived 150,000,000 years ago, during the late Jurassic period. It lived in what is now North America and Mexico.
It took several minutes for Bleez to read, she was still learning to read big words. She relayed to Vali, however, that neither of the two dinosaurs had names. "They's Apatosaurus. But, no.names. We.should name.'em!" She wagged her tail and smiled at Vali

The names were a bit scraggly because his handwriting with an unwilling tail, even without one, was not the best yet. He thought that this day could not get any better than it already was. He and Bleez were becoming friends and he was really starting to like listening to her fast talking ways.
In face he had to admit for a girl she was pretty cute, and she was really fun. He wondered if she was like a warrior princess or if he called her a princess if she would freak out like Europa had. But he though that this fiery little female was a fellow knight. Maybe next time they plaid they could ride dinosaurs as they went off to save a princess in need. Little did either spawn know that later down the line there were actually animatronic dinosaurs they could sit on and get pictures.
"Bleez should we name all the dinosaurs? I bet none of them have names! We should see if there are any more in need of names!" He said letting his tail go and looking farther down the trail to see people grouping around what looked like another moving dinosaur.

Bleez thought for a quick moment, then nodded. It only seemed fair to give all the dinosaurs names, if they weren't named. "It'd be.nice, I.think."
Bleez looked down the trail where the large crowd was. Many people were laughing and "wooing." Curious, Bleez glanced at Vali and motioned down the path towards the crowd. "Wha's.down.dere?"

Vali laughed softly and nodded before he started to head down the trail. "I don't know but everyone seems so happy." he said softly as he stood on his tip toes trying to get a good look. "Oh Bleez get on my shoulders and I am sure you can see over there." he said and turned to her with a bright smile.

Bleez tilted her head at the suggestion, she'd never climbed on to another kid's shoulders before, just her mom's. But Vali was strong and confident, so she returned a smile and clambered up on to Vali's shoulders.
"I.can't see-Wait!" She leaned forward, trying to get a better look. She could see the very top of a fringe of some sort, but she couldn't make out the rest. "I need.ta be higher," Bleez told Vali before placing both hands on top of his head. With the leverage, she pushed herself up so that she was stand on his shoulders, rather than sitting.
She could now make out the heads and neck of several dinosaurs. The fringes she saw were the tops of the dinosaurs' nose. It had 2 crests that ran from its nostrils to its eyes. Bleez recognized the dinosaur right away, "Dere's Di-Diloph-Diloph'saurs, Vali!" She beamed down at him in excitement.
Something cold hit the top of her head. She instinctively reached up and felt it. It was water. She looked up at the sky, thinking it was starting to rain, but saw now clouds. She felt more water splash her face lightly. Turning her head in the direction it came from, she saw that the Dilophosaurs were actually spitting at people. That's what all the commotion was about!

Vali laughed lightly as Bleez climbed up him. He was glad she was not as heavy as he thought. Not that he had thought she was fat. "Oh you can climb higher." He said as she started to move to stand on his shoulders. He moved his hands up to hold onto her legs and help her balance.
As she spoke the name he smiled, "Oh those are the spitting ones! They were found first in Arizona!" He laughed and then looked up. "Are you okaying?" he asked slightly worried because she flinched above him. When he felt something wet touch him he got worried. "I did not cut you did I Bleez?" He sounded very worried. He would hate for himself to have hurt her after they started to become friends. "Here I will help you down." he said as he tried to grab up higher on her legs to get her down.

Bleez was a bit preoccupied with the dinosaur spitting water on her to hear Vali's concerned remarks. It wasn't until he started reached further up her legs that she realized he wanted her off. She climbed down, careful not to scratch him or be scratched. She saw the worried expression on his face, which made her worried. "You.'kay?" It didn't even cross her mind that he was upset that he might've cut her with his blades or horns. She was durable, to put it mildly, so she rarely did get hurt anyway.

Seeing the confused look on Bleez's face he tilted his head to the side. "Yes I am fine I could hold you up there all day...but i felt something wet hit me...did I hurt you? I hope I did not cut you!" he said softly as he reached for her arms to check and see if his blades had cut into her some where. "Your very light. So I hope I did not hurt you."

"Huh? OH! Nah, I'm.fine! See?" She held her arms out and flipped them over so he could see that she didn't have a scratch on her. "Like you said, the.Diloph'saurs are spitters!" She grinned. "Dese.ones spit water!"
"Come.on!" She grabbed ahold of Vali's hand and pulled him through the crowd to the front of it, not minding bumping into people to get them to move.

Vali was so glad that Bleez was find. Though it was his turn to blush slightly as she took his hand. No one not even Pippin volunteered to hold his hand. He smiled feeling now that Bleez and him really were friends.
As they moved threw the crowd he kept his arms inwards towards him and then seeing the Dilophsaurs moved in front of them he gasped. "He is shorter than I thought....does he really spi..." as he was about to ask the dinosaur let out a stream of water all over the people standing in front of him. Vali laughed out loud and smiled. "Oh he does your right!" he laughed and waved his hands in the air trying to get the dinosaur to spit on him again.

Bleez was already over at the plaque while Vali was busy getting "spit" on, she hadn't even noticed him blushing.
Dilophosaurus

The blockbuster movie Jurassic Park featured a Dilophosaurus attacking a man by spitting in his eyes, during a rainstorm.
It is unlikely that the real Dilophosaurus could spit, or that it had extensible flaps around its neck as portrayed in the movie.
Dilophosaurus dates back to around 200 million years ago, making it one of the first large meat-eating Dinosaurs. It had two thin ridges that grew over each eye, and that were each about half as large as a dinner plate. It is not known what these ridges were used for. Some scientists believe that they were for attracting a mate, or as a sign of maturity.
It lived 200,000,000 years ago, during the early Jurassic period. It's remains have been found in many areas, including Arizona, China, North America, and Utah.
"Wow.Vali! They traveled LOTS!" She laughed, deciding to make a joke, "Wonder 'ow.much luggage dey had!"

Vali hearing Bleez talking moved away from the spitting dinosaur and over to her. "He looked over the information and nods, "Oh yes I remember Dooma saying that there is no evidence that they spit. They also have very very narrow hips." he put his hands on his own to try and squish them in. "See. Oh yes they must have lots of luggage. Maybe we should call this guy Ranger. Cause he travels all over the range?" He laughed softly. "Oh do you think that he had a dog? Or a horse to help carry his things?"
He took up his tail again and smiled. Everyone was too busy getting spit on to see that they were going to carve in another name.

She giggled, "That's.a great name! You're really.good at naming.dese dinos!" Bleez thought it was odd that no one had named them before. "I don'.think there were doggies.or.horsies back then. Maybe there.were dinos that acted like doggies.'n.horsies! Ya.know.like in the cartoons!"

Vali giggled and started to write the name down. "Oh I am not that good at naming. Your really good too. Erin is such a pretty name." He said with a smile and then tilted his head slightly, "Whats a cartoon? Is that like story books?" Dooma was still in the process of getting them a tv and cable, so Vali had never gotten to watch a cartoon before.

Bleez found it amazing that Vali'd never seen a cartoon. "REALLY? Oh.my.gosh! Cartoons.are so.cool! They're moving.drawings! But sometimes they tell.stories, like.books!" Bleez was starting to get excited again. Just being with Vali and able to speak quickly without getting told to slow down was too much fun for her.
She grabbed a hold of his hand again, after he'd finished writing. "Come.on! We have.a great mission, to.name all these dinosaurs! I'm.sure dere's SO.MANY left too!" She bounded down the trail, Vali being the only thing from making her go at supersonic speed.

Vali laughed and nods, "Yes really. They sound really cool. I hope I can see one soon." he smiled brightly at how excited she was about cartoons. He really really wanted to see one now!
This time as she grabbed his hand Vali did not blush. He just smiled and allowed her to lead him down the trail. to the next set of dinosaurs in need of naming. "I hope we can keep thinking good names up! I wonder what we will get to name next!"
