" Is a cellphone not a good enough contact system or must it be magical?' Mareike didn't like the idea of having to carry a foreign object around all the time as she had no idea what else it might be spelled to do.
If that was all that needed to be settled though then Mareike could live with that.

He figured that Marieke was not foolish enough to fall for his trickery or his intimidation. Smiling he merely nodded his head simply, if that was what she wanted then so be it. It only meant he was not required to protect her if the time ever came.
"Then it is setteled, you will work for me, freelance. No contract. In exchange you will stronger doses of the new wraths blood. Deal?" He offered his hand a more informal way of sealing an agreement.

" Deal," Mareike reached out to accept the handshake. This had been a successful meeting with Vampy as far as she was concerned. She was still certain she was getting the better deal.
