"Well, my ex-husband and I, we researched the myth of The Golden Altar. It was our last research before he left." she explained as she sighed again, looking away a bit hurt of her own memories. "We never figured out how it exactly worked. But I researched ever detail about it. It was said that the ritual done with candles and locks of hair would produce an egg. That egg would need to be looked after. Loved. Cared for. And if the two owners of that egg proved that they were meant to be parents, and would love the children within enough. The egg would change and hatch. Within it containing a child, or maybe more than one child." Kae tried to smile, despite the situation at hand. "At least, that's what they say." she added, giving that edge of uncertainty that ever legend bore. "I hope Alice comes back."

"Oh, really then?" Syth spoke, a bit relieved at the fact that it wouldn't be as much of a challenge as Syth might have epxected it to be. Just take care of the egg. Love it and treat it well, it seemed like an easy plan.

"Alice... hope she's well," Syth spoke to herself, biting her lips as she pulled the egg closer to her face. Placing her ear against the waxy membrane. Before letting out a small sigh, "I suppose you don't know anymore about it?" She asked, not knowing what else to say at this point, "Or anyplace I can set this down and make sure its still safe?"

Kae thought for a moment. "All I heard of was myths and legends about it. It's hard to tell what was truth, and which was a complete myth. All I've said, is all I know to be mostly true." she spoke, finishing her scotch. "Somewhere to set the egg... I have an idea." she moved to the living room and grabbed a comforter wrapping it to mimic a sort of nest. "That should be safe enough.." she commented as she moved over to the alcohol and refilled her glass of scotch. "Uhm... scotch?" she offered to Syth, not sure on whether Syth drank or not.

Myths and legends. Well, so far it had proved to be true. So, at least things had worked out. And if that was true, then she shouldn't need to worry too much about hatching it. As long as she took care of the egg and didn't mistreat it.

Though, having that makeshift nest being made gave her jump in glee. Setting it down and propping it so that the egg wouldn't fall away. Though, being offered that drink, she couldn't help but look at it mystified.

"Scotch?" Syth responded, wondering just what it was. Though, she accepted it. Drinking it, and finding it burning at her neck. Setting the glass down and trying to wave air into her neck. Ah nice as that had felt, she hadn't really expected a rather strong drink.

"Ah, that w-was. Different"

Since Kae was feeling extra stressed out that night, it didn't take long for her to finish her second glass of scotch. It was already starting to make her dizzy, drinking so fast. But despite already feeling the effects, she poured herself another glass of scotch. "Want any more?" she asked, bringing the whole bottle of scotch and set it on the coffee table. "I can pour you as much as you like.." she offered, sitting down in a chair near the empty fireplace. Kae began to wonder when Alice would be coming back, or what Alice could possibly be doing at that time. It baffled Kae, how to be a mother, as she knew she wasn't the best parent in the world. But she tried her best. Kae refilled Syth's glass anyway, figuring that Syth probably needed to take the edge off, just like she did.

Syth looked over at her glass. Watching as it was refilled with more of the hard liquor before she even had the chance to ask. Honestly, she was rather amused as to why, looking up towards Kae, and just pondering why Kae was drinking so much. Though, reading into Kaes mind, she couldn't help but giggle.

A horrible parent, ah.

"Ms. Broken," Syth spoke, reaching out for the glass, sipping if slowly this time, "Y-you can't be a horrible parent" Syth responded, the alcohol beginning to get to her already. Affecting her powers mostly, "Alice is alive still, and she's not a child," She responded, giggling at the thought of it, now halfway thought her glass.

"And then you tried to have her make friends. Its the reason why I met her after all. So, if it weren't for you," Syth spoke, looking over Kae with a smile, hoping she could cheer her up.

"I suppose you're right... I guess I'm not a completely terrible mother... but I still feel like I could have done so much more for her." she replied, swirling her glass a little then near chugging the rest of the scotch in her glass. Sighing, she then looked to Syth and smiled reassuringly. "I'm glad we've worked things out since the first time we met. You're really a very sweet girl." she commented, and then began to laugh a little. The alcohol was really starting to affect her as she fanned herself with her hand. "I guess we just play the waiting game.." she joked, laughing a bit more then smiling. "Have you both thought of some names?"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 21, 2010 2:34 am

"Hm... Alice has been thinking about names already," Syth added, grinning a bit, "She's been bouncing the names a bit, but I think she's going to settle on Moira or Lucien. Or both, depending how it goes. I'm going for Yoko and Silas. Female and Male each, and if we end up with three boys and one girl. Well... hopefully one of the boys won't mind being called Moira or Yoko," Syth added, giggling at the end. Not really meaning that last comment, but it was a joke she couldn't resist telling.

"Mmm... I'm not that sweet though. You could call it a sour, or bitter inside. So hard to explain..." Syth trailed off, almost mumbling to herself. The alcohol perhaps seeping into Syth's mind now. "You don't mind... I mean, I suppose it should be obvious. But, I want to get married," Syth spoke, hopefully not saying something that would disturb Dr. Broken too much.

Kae was beginning to enjoy the conversation she was having with Syth, it was really helping her calm down from the earlier situations. Kae had moved to go get another drink, but turned back to Syth. "married?" she repeated. Kae thought for a moment and then smiled. "I don't see why not. It only seems proper since you both will be having a child soon." she replied, for once completely accepting a big decision right off the bat. It wasn't quite like her, but the alcohol was really helping her loosen up and accept things more openly.

Upon arriving to the mansion, the wolf slowed down only slightly, but picked up enough momentum to burst through the front doors of the mansion itself. She attempt to slide across the ground to turn quickly into the hallway but failed as her paws slid out from beneath her and she hit the ground, scrambling to get back up.

Deskri lost hold of the collar and flew off of the wolf, sliding across the ground for a moment. Thankfully, most of his body was covered in some form of fabric whether it was actual clothing or bandages, so he didn't skid. The painful part was the actual landing. He cried out a little, immediately curling himself into a ball as if it would do something to protect him from more pain. All that did was cause his muscles to scream in protest even more.

[Fffff Deskri, so stupid. xD;;; HAY GAIZ, WHAT'S UP?!-shot- hahaha it's 4am where Asu is. =w= ffff-goes to sleep-]

Syth happily smiled at Kae's reaction. The thought of it made her heart flutter with excitement, a smile, and even a bit of redness on her face. At least, until she heard a crash. She expression changing, looking worried as she turned to Kae. A horrible time to be drunk right now, she couldn't even tell who had busted through the door.

"Kae, this way," Syth spoke, her hand grabbing at Kae's, attempting to drag her along towards the front door. Even if she might be stumbling side to side at the moment.

Kae was smiling and enjoying Syth's company when something busted through the front door. "What the hell?!" she exclaimed under breath, a look of confusion and worry spreading across her face. Syth had taken her hand and now the two of them were drunkenly running for the front door. When they got there, the scene played out with a wolf scrambling to it feet and a boy with dark hair was curled up on the floor near the wolf. "HEY!" she yelled as she tried to get the wolf to leave. "Get out! Go on, get out of here!!!" she demanded to the wolf, hoping to persuade it to leave the boy alone.

The wolf was having great difficulty standing on the tiled floor as her scrambling paws scratched across the floor frantically. Though, she was determined to get Deskri to Rasiel as she made her way half-slowly to Deskri, and nudged him lightly with her nose on his abdomen, trying to get him to climb onto her back again. She noticed Kae and Syth had walked in and was starting to be shooed by her mother. The wolf let out a low angered growl, almost baring teeth, wanting to be left alone from being asked to leave. She tried her best to telepathically connect to Syth, hopefully she could clear her human thoughts long enough to send a message. 'I......... can't............ he.........Rasi-el......' was all she could manage, finding it difficult to think in human words while in her completed wolf form.

After taking a few moments to recover, Deskri uncurled himself, wincing as he did. He turned his eyes to Kae and Syth, but was too tired to feel anything other than a growing sense of weariness. He turned to stare at the wolf as it nudged him again. "A-again...?" He weakly climbed aboard again, trying to ignore Syth and Kae. He had a vague idea of who Kae was, but he'd only seen her once before so he wasn't entirely sure. Once he got on again, he did his best to cling to the collar once more but found he was losing control over his body bit by bit, sooner or later he was going to pass out again whether he wanted to or not.

Syth would have been scared of the wolf, if not for that fact that she had already realized that the wolf was more than just something that had dragged in a beat down Deskri. Really, the kid had looked more pathetic than ever, and the drunken Syth couldn't help but chuckle. Though, hearing Alice try to speak, she couldn't help but stare at the wolf. Really?

Ugh, she'd just have to suffer for now. Herself moving over to Kae, pulling her off and shaking her heard. Perhaps, she could trust Syth for now.

"She's trying to do something," Was really all she could say, before grinning, "Up for another round?"

Kae wasn't sure what was going on, but soon began to realize the wolf was just taking the dark haired boy somewhere. This really confused her as she debated on the strength of her scotch and tried to remember how many glasses she had actually drank. After Syth chimed in that the wolf was trying to do something and offered for them to partake in another round, Kae smiled. She moved to the front doors to close them and then returned to Syth. "Sure, let's have another round." she drunkenly replied with a smile on her face. Kae had really come to trust Syth and figured if Syth felt it was okay, then she really need not worry so much.

The wolf waited for Deskri to get on, and once he did she darted off down the hall to the bedroom she had last seen Rasiel. She came to a slow halt, being more careful on the tile this time around as she pawed open the door. Walking inside she came right up to the edge of the bed where Rasiel lay and whined. She nudged Rasiel with no reaction from him as she let out small soft yelps in between her whines.
