He muffled something into her lap. As he realized she probably had no idea what he said he lifted his head up.
"Archie sounds like p***y f*****t." Rolling over, it was the perfect posture for Eve to feel him grapes and sing beautiful poetry to him like he was some pampered God.
Only, she would probably feel him chili peppers while she told him that he really should take this senshi business more seriously.
"And Elke...No. She's just...Elke." This was said as if it explained how the world turned.
"...Do you think...that maybe, someday, when Beryl is gone..." The question hung in the air. 'Do you think I can save her? Do you think that maybe, just maybe, we could find our happiness?' Elzo wasn't meeting Eve's eyes. His mind was elsewhere.

"If you ever hit on her, I'll hit you with a stick." Eve said in all seriousness. "Or Princess Chronos in that matter." Perhaps it was a bit random; she had no idea if Elzo knew Chronos, or Serenade, who were essentially the same person, but in different identities. He probably hadn't even known why she would be protective over both Elke and Chronos anyway. It was the same reason why her phone was so buggy.
"I don't know." She said quietly, not looking at him either. Would they be able to save the Negaverse agents from their own corruption or would they be destroyed because of it. "It depends on the Moon Princess."

"....A few nights too late. Did I ever mention how cute Chronos would look in a bikini?" (At this point, he was rolling on the floor, and the softness that was Eve's lap was lost to Elzo. Possibly for forever.) "Ow. I was joking. Jesus. But, wait, Moon Princess? I thought we were on the same team? Not in terms of gender preference, (but if you are that is totally okay, and kind of hott), but like, aren't you supposed to be looking for Serenity too?" He rolled onto his stomach, eyes flicking towards her nightstand. Flowers from his brother mocked him.
He also wondered for a moment if Rea and Eve had a thing. And if they had a thing, that would be kind of hott.
Okay, it would be REALLY hott. He was male after all.

"You did not just go there." Eve exclaimed with a huff, looking as though she wanted to kick him, but crossed her legs instead. It wasn't really the right time to inform him that she swung both ways; he would totally go off on another tangent with that topic entirely. Instead, she decided to address the issue about her Court, or as he had pointed out, her team.
Er. Although she currently had one Court and one team, and probably one more when she managed to find the other Seasons...
"My Princess is Princess Chronos." She told him. "I'm part of the Season Senshi who are her Handmaidens. It's also why my phone doesn't really work." And why Castor found it so difficult to call her. "I mean, I am looking for Serenity, since she's Princess Chronos' cousin and all."

"Eve, I went there, and I found out that my princess was in another castle. Chill out." It was good thing they didn't discuss gender preferences, or Elzo might have been having a bad thought moment. A bad thought moment, all over her floor.
And that was just rude.
"Handmaidens? Hmmmm" He grinned up at her. "I can totally help you drop the 'en' part at the end if you want." He was sure he was out of kicking range. "You always did seem sorta out there. Dunno, but hey, you've got a princess! That's cool. I guess the Donkey Kong that is Destiny City must still have Serenity locked away. Can't Chronos just pull some moon magic and locate her?"
"Oh, and is it bad form to go dancing with a girl who is not your prom date? Even if you only really talked to your date a few times? I like Gabbie and all, but I LIKE Audrey." More rolling on her carpet.
"As in REALLY like Audrey."

"You had better." She said pointedly, giving him a 'You really better not dare say anything about my Princess' look. Perhaps it was strange to feel so defensive about someone she only recently met, but at least she had known Chronos in her past life before, even though she couldn't remember the exact details...
"I seemed sort out where?" Eve repeated his statement, fixing him with a peculiar and curious stare. "If Chronos could, she would have done so a year ago when they were in Destiny City." She said, recalling what her Princess had told her while filling her in about the Zodiacs.
"Well, as long as you dance with your prom partner too, I guess it wouldn't be that rude? Since you don't really know your prom date and all..." There was a pause. "You do know that's the second time you told me that."

".....I knew that." He didn't know. He was Elzo, selective thinker. "But, eh, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." His voice just kept going till her ran out of breath. "You just seemed I dunno, different. Not in a bad way. Like, a better way but not as in better then 'us'? Sorry, I'm confusing myself." He was on his back, lost in thought.
He sighed.
"Eve." Elzo held her gaze. "I think I'm going 'Cold Turkey' for her." He sat upright. "I mean, two nights ago I was-" he stopped, looked at Eve, and then kept going. "Well, anyways, I wasn't into it like normal. I finished-" He winced, thinking about just who he was talking to. "But nothing. No after glow. No contentment. Later on, the next day, I thought about her. About a run in we had. And then I felt just...better." He looked at Eve like she might know something he didn't. "I want to dance with not just because it would be her, but because when I think about being close to her like that..."
A smile. A small one, but still, a smile.
"I already feel content, no sex needed."
The smile got a tad bigger. "Imagine, me, not needing sex. It's like saying the human body doesn't need water to survive." Knees curled up. His chin rested on them. His smile hadn't faded.
"I wonder if it's possible."
If it wasn't clear as day then, it was now.
He was in love, no negaverse required.

Oh well, they could leave that topic for another time. Perhaps it was easier for others to see and classify her than she herself could. It wasn't as though she had really compared herself to the other senshi; they were all in the same team after all.
"I'm surprised you don't get caught for your other activities." She commented, but then again, Elzo was pretty good at not getting caught when sneaking out to henshin up. That and probably add the fact that as a senshi, it was easier to sneak out unnoticed... Still, she was mildly perturbed by the details of his sexual encounters.
Mildly.
"That's a good thing." Eve pointed out, now hugging her legs to her chest since he wasn't on her lap anymore. "Lust is a different thing from love entirely. I mean, when you love someone, there certainly comes a time when you do have sex with them, but it isn't the first thing you think about, I guess."
Then she was silent for a moment as she got up and knelt right besides him on the floor, hand resting on his shoulder. "Go for it. Go for her. It's good for you. And me. I keep worrying about you courting your death."

Elzo looked at Eve. More accurately, Elzo stared right into Eve's eyes like a ******** creeper. He said nothing. He stood up. Still saying nothing, eyes still on her's.
"Eve." Elzo was not moving. "If I am found dead, know I died for love." Then her pulled her up and into a possibly bone fracturing hug. He was just hugging her that hard. Elzo was also laughing that hard that he didn't notice.
"I can't give up on Lina Eve..." He let his 'love doctor' down. "Until it's over with her, I'll just feel it out. Who knows? Maybe she's my princess and that's why I feel for her." Her being Audrey. "Whatever. I know it's got to end someday, but until then?" The boy smiled and shook his head.
"Thanks Eve, for everything."

"And not for your Princess?" She whispered, as he hugged her. Perhaps he didn't know yet. He didn't know the strong feeling of loyalty you had to your Princess because Serenity was still missing. But she had met her Princess, and she was alive, and he didn't know how she felt towards her Princess, that connection to her, wanting to protect her from everything, from all those that had hurt her. He didn't know what it was like. The Zodiacs had all once died trying to rescue their Princess. Did he know that?
Did he know Eon had died for his love and the Zodiacs to be reborn again? That was really much more noble compared to what Elzo was insinuating. Dying because he was in love with Linarite and refused to give her up.
She had always held the belief that time would help love fade, as long as the two parties hadn't gone too far. It was also why she never got too attached to anyone she had dated. She didn't want to get hurt, however selfish that seemed.
"If Audrey is the Princess, Astraea would be throwing a party." Eve said with a sigh. Really, was he giving Audrey up, whom he had feelings for, just because he still pined after a forbidden romance? Perhaps it was the thrill of it that addicted him to it?
She wasn't really going to let this go just yet. "Take care of yourself, doofus."
Perhaps she would have to meet this Audrey one day.

Elzo had no idea what if felt like to meet his princess. The closest he had felt was when his life had been in danger and Astraea had powered him to super. That and the occasion dream. Other then that, all he had was that nagging feeling in his gut. But, sometimes he attributed that feeling to the meatloaf he'd eaten from the cafeteria.
"I'll do my best Eve. Living is kind of high on my list of priorities." His smile was still going, even as he snuck back out her window and over to the wall. It was slightly sad how well he knew how to sneak out of Crystal. It said a lot about Elzo.
Probably more then Eve or anyone in general needed to know.

"It'd better be." She said quietly, but managed to grin back at him as he left her room, hopefully not attracting campus security.
With his departure, her room was empty again and Eve stared at the door, then Rea's bed. The door did not open, and she was all alone in her room. She. All alone.
What was she doing? She thought. Normally she would have jumped at this chance to go out, grab friends to go shopping. Now, she was being too wary, and she didn't exactly like what it was doing to her social life.
