Here's some things that has come to mind when reading through the hobbies in Jerry's profile. Urimian Planting-Well isn't it obvious???Of course he likes planting!!! After his potty training and sixth birthday, he started helping his parents with planting, plowing, weeding etc. At first, his parents did reverse psychology on him to do some work (i know this might seem cruel, but they started with simple tasks, like weeding), then, he started to like it, and now he has a garden in his backyard. Does Jerry have a preference about what he plants? For example does he prefer to plant vegetables? And if so, is there a particular vegetable he likes to plant most and if so then why?
Or maybe Jerry prefers planting flowers.
Using an example to illustrate - although not much of a gardener I like planting tomatoes (as long as they are not red). I like planting old heritage varieties of tomatoes because they look more interesting than the stuff in the supermarkets and I think they taste better.Urimian A few weeks after he planted vegetables in his garden, it was Thanksgiving, and he grew a HUMONGOUS Pumpkin, so he made it into a HUMONGOUS pumpkin pie. He entered it in the Thanksgiving cooking competition and won a blue ribon. Just the sense of accomplishment and actually making something, makes him loving cooking. Is there a particular dish he likes cooking? And out of curiosity does his gardening hobby feed into his cooking hobby? For example does he prefer to cook with produce from the garden because of freshness?Hope that little helps. When I have some more time I'll see if I can have a proper look through and see if anything else comes to mind. Good luck smile --Edit-- And check your pms, I sent you a quick pm a few minutes ago

Either you read wrong or i read wrong. And yes, everything he cooks is based around the thing he grows.

I read that as an example of the sort of things he's cooked. For example I could grow apples and make an apple pie - but it doesn't particularly mean that I like making apple pies. I didn't realise that in this context that fact that Jerry had cooked a pie because he had grown a pumpkin actually meant that pumpkin pies was like a favourite dish in this context sweatdrop Again apologies if my comments came off wrong

This character sounds amusing as heck. I like him, already. Two things, though. I want to make sure I understand this right. He plants what he likes to cook and he likes to cook what he plants? He doesn't plant anything he doesn't want to cook and vice versa? Does he ever plant things just to look pretty or anything like that? Also, with a name like Dionysus, I'd expect debauchery. Maybe ergot'd work for that? It's a fungal disease of rye, wheat, and such that makes people go nutter-butters.

He thinks that planting things to look pretty is a waste of time. And beside, he also thinks that sooner or later, it will wither away and die. And, maybe i will think to change the name. but is ergot a celestial object?

Urimian Yes, he cooks things that he likes to cook and cook things he likes to plant. He thinks that planting things to look pretty is a waste of time. And beside, he also thinks that sooner or later, it will wither away and die. And, maybe i will think to change the name. but is ergot a celestial object? Thanks for clearing that up! I meant maybe you could use ergot for an attack. If you do need name ideas, then a lot of names'd work, but I'll suggest Vicia, since it's also the name of fava beans, Mentha for mint, Pirola for wintergreen, Sylvania for forests, or maybe Orgueil for the story behind it.
