She laughed as he tapped her cheek. "I don't know ... you look kinda cute all dusty. So i might be." Weird things happened in dreams anyway so anything was possible.
"Have you told your family?" Her nose scrunched slightly as she thought about that. His family were gods too and they probably wouldn't like the idea of him not being one anymore.

Looking crestfallen for a moment, he shook his head. "No, I haven't." He thought about it for a while, but shrugged his shoulders. "I don't feel like they would mind, or worry." Well, they probably wouldn't be happy with the fact that he would die before them, but that was never certain. He knew gods died all the time, and when they were reborn they might not remember anything of their past. He was certain he had a life before this one, but he didn't remember a thing about it.
"I have spoken to a sister of mine..." he started slowly. "She was upset, but accepted my decision. I won't see her too much, but then I never really did spend all my time with them." It had always been a little exciting to follow mortals and see what they did with their lives.
He just found one that he wanted to stay with.

"You should talk to all of them eventually if you can." She smiled softly. "Just to warn them. It wouldn't be right to just run off and never tell your family you made such a bit choice." Though she wasn't sure how he'd go about contacting them since he wasn't one of them anymore. "I'm sure if you explain your reasoning they'll be alright with it eventually." Family was like that right? They accepted you for who you were not what they wanted you to be.
"You're going to stay here right? In the pride?"

"Yeah, Kituko will probably say something if she sees Mother again soon." There was no telling what Fear would do, though, as she often herself feared what others thought of her. Their doubts in themselves and made them become close.
Of course, that meant that his mother would want to see them...and, well, that would be quite an ordeal in itself. He would worry about it if the time came.
"I would like to," he said with a bob of his head. "With your family, if you wouldn't mind." A slight blush flushed his cheeks. "I don't quite know anyone else here as well, and don't think I would do all that well on my own."

She smiled brightly at the idea. "I know mother would be delighted if you stayed with us. And you can help me babysit my little siblings!" She grinned and bounced up to her feet. "Im sure Chang and Shujaa will be happy to see you again too ... though Chang might not recognize you."

He laughed. "Oh dang, I don't know how well I am with little ones." That was going to be quite interesting. "And I'm really excited to see everyone myself."
He offered her a little bow with a grin. "If you wouldn't mind, want to lead the way?" Wings had always made it easier to find her, but now everything just seemed so much harder. He made the choice, and he would work through these difficulties, though.

"I'm sure you'll be fine." She smiled and nudged him in the direction her family would be. "They're all friendly just like me and Shujaa were when you met us." They'd all like someone else to crawl on too.
"They're not far. Mom and dad were showing them how to hunt and they dont have -that- much attention so i'm sure they'd done by now and back home"

Oh dear. Kimbi didn't think about that. When he was a god, he didn't have to eat. And now that he did...well, he didn't really know how to hunt. "I might have to tag along in those lessons," he commented, feeling so....new to everything.
He took a few steps towards where Ariza nudged him, pausing just a bit so they could walk side by side. "Thanks," he said with a smile.

"Don't think i can feed us both?" She grinned as she teased him. It would be interesting teaching Kimbi how to hunt but at least she knew her mother was a -wonderful- teacher.
"i'm glad you're staying .... even if we have to teach you how to be a mortal"

I'd like to help once in a while," he hinted with a soft nudge. He needed to carry a little weight too! But...
"Hey now!" he sulked, making a face. "I know I'm not that pathetic." He grew quiet for a moment, really thinking about it. Doubt filled him again, though just a little bit.
"Am I?"

"No! no ..." She leaned over and nudged his head with hers. "I didn't mean it like that at all. I was just teasing. You're not pathetic at all."
He was just quiet and hadn't grown up the same way she and her brother had. "Everyone learns things differently. You never had to learn how to hunt or anything so there's no reason why you should know how"

He felt a small little quirk in the side of his mouth. But there was also an overwhelming feeling of joy. Like this fit. He really hoped he wouldn't botch it, and something would develop.
Man, his mother had rubbed off on him more than he thought possible.
"Well, there's no reason I shouldn't learn now, either?" he playfully tossed back out to her.

"No, not if you really want to learn there isn't." She smiled and laughed softly. "I'm sure it'll be fun for you"
It felt good that he was back and knowing wanted to stay made it better.

"Oh yeah, fun for you to watch me mess up," he laughed. Kimbi nudged her gently. "Hey, how about we get back?" As thrilled as he as to be spending time with Ariza, it was also exciting to see the rest of the family. He only hoped that they would take his change just as well as she did.
