thebluescorpio I know, I've always hated thouse people. It's unfair and sad to see things like that. Not to mention Inuyasha would be completely boring without the Kikyo part. Think about it, how can Inuyasha get pin to the tree? How can Kagome revive him from the tree? And most importently, how can Kagome be born? The best they can come up is probably saying that Inuyasha use to be evil, stole from village, Prist arrowed him to a tree, then kagome a teenager somehow found him and they fell in love. I'm telling you, no matter what thouse anti-kikyos say, the story would be seriously boring without Kikyo. That's why I don't read crap on fanfiction.net. Nothing. Good. Or if there is, it's buried under heavy amounts of crap fics. (you can go ahead and pic a sig banner from the 'Banana BANNERS! (*3*)' thread. 3nodding )

I'm also getting VERY annoyed with that. Like many of you notified, not only is she dead, she's NOT REAL! -_-;; People have real problems understanding this. They only write what they think of her, but doesn't even see the other ends of it, but other than that, I find that just ignoring them works pretty well.

xxcutecarpetxx I'm also getting VERY annoyed with that. Like many of you notified, not only is she dead, she's NOT REAL! -_-;; People have real problems understanding this. They only write what they think of her, but doesn't even see the other ends of it, but other than that, I find that just ignoring them works pretty well. Some of them are really hard to ignore when they get up in your face telling you it's their opinion. God, the first amendment has sure made a nice sheild for those idiots.

How can you hate/kill something that isn't real. It's an animated story...people should really get over it.

Good point, the whole plot revolves around her. (well, revolves around a number of characters, but...) It seems hard to like a show if you don't like one of the key characters. (I shouldn't be talking though...me and Tayne kinda hate Kagome sweatdrop ) So case in point, why don't the anti-kikyos broaden to the anti-Inuyashas? (Inuyasha as the show, not the character)

Thankfully, I have not encountered bullshit like that YET since I don't really check out the humour section. -_-
However... I was at this MSN Groups site downloading a few Inuyasha mp3s when lo, and behold, on that same page, there was Kikyou Bashing! xp So there's a whole bunch of bullshit and people saying WHY they hate Kikyou.
And man, did there spelling SUCK!! xd Ok, now where was I? Oh yeah, blah blah killing Kagome blah, getting in the way of IK blah blah and oh yes...
Something like THIS:

Daruki Rosamaine Relowinya I do in fact write. I am Yukatado on fanfiction.net, from the days of yore when fanfiction.net didn't even have an Inuyasha folder. Oh my how it has grown, much like a gaian thread full of spam! wink My current project on there is called "School" and features a Kikyou that never did die. She lives in Tokyo now, in the same shrine she grew up in before the mess with Inuyasha. In the modern-era, she goes to school and becomes a teacher. Kikyou/Sesshoumaru pairing, by the way. Another one on the back-burner is "Hitori ni Naru" or "We Become One" wherein Kikyou and Kagome discover inexplicably . . . amorous feelings for one another. Kikyou/Kagome pairing for that one. Also, several poems. They do tend to be semi-angsty. Lastly, is "In a World without Purpose" which features Kikyou going down a different well and ending up in even Acient-er Japan. Its WAY on the back-burner. I shall read those fics when I have the time. 3nodding Sounds really interesting. AU fics tends to be popular in the fandom world. What better way to bash Kikyou? Reminds me of a Rurouni Kenshin fic I once read, AU and there was some Tomoe bashing..... I never dared reading Inuyasha fanfics on fanfiction.net neutral I once saw, as a resumé, "Inuyasha and Kagome are the best PILOTS on their PLANET, and Sesshoumaru was the captain of planet Youkai"... gonk I'm not really sure what's it about, but I'm scared to find out ><;; *goes to hide* But strangely, lots of IY fanfics on FF.net has long chapters and not all one-shot (I think o_o Last time I checked out 2 months ago, never dares to go back again ._.;; ), so I don't know about n00b authors or not neutral There was also one I read that Inu was the son of a Samurai, Daddy and Mommy both got killed, and him as a kid vowed to never touch a sword is now some kinda youkai slayer; and that he defeated 2 spirits called Miroku and Sango, but didn't know, and since they where spirits and not real youkais they have to follow him everywhere he goes o__o and I think either Sango or Miroku was a phoenix o__o;; *shivers* Inuyasha fanfictions creep me out o__o;; But supposely because I got too freaked out at the beginning that I never read that much IY fanfics, I have never encountered Kikyou-bashing fics. ._.
