B'hec could not help but snort softly. Set Rayth on fire? Honestly! What did Bajenth take him for, anyways? He might be a little bit of a klutz in the kitchen, but that did not give the dragon the right to question his ability to care for Rayth, bronze or not. His brown eyes narrowed just a hint and the young man set his jaw. He would not openly argue, not now. Sh'en was his friend, after all, and Bajenth was young. He probably just didn't realize what he was implying after all.

Bajenth is my friend, I think! Rayth squeaked, eyes gone bright yellow when the little bit of fight left in B'hec reared its ugly head. And I do not want to be set on fire, either! He was just trying to help, because he is bronze and he knows things.

The bluerider frowned then, twisting to peer down at his agitated bundle of dragon. "It's fine, Rayth," he tried to reassure the quivering dragon, glancing back at Sh'en just in time for the bronzerider to announce it was time for him to depart. "Oh," B'hec replied quietly, feeling like perhaps this was a little bit his fault. He didn't really want to part ways with Sh'en yet, but if Bajenth was hungry...he should probably see to his dragon, yes.

"Oh. Okay, then. I should probably get back to work, I suppose." B'hec sighed wearily, all the liveliness draining out of him with that one gust of air.

Rayth stood as his rider deflated, glancing between both riders before his gaze finally settled on Bajenth. O-oh. Okay. Only if you're absolutely sure, though... he replied quietly, hanging his head a little. Why would His go and start trouble? He wasn't supposed to do that!
