I think it's better that you're writing this because people will value your advice much more than if someone else were to write it.
There are a few grammatical errors and I think I would reword the sentence structure in the intro. I do understand what you are trying to say but it seems a bit unorganized to me.
In the building your hoards section:
"This is a great example to show that some items are clearly better investments than others."
This sentence is bothering me a lot. I would change it to something like:
"These are great examples that show that some items are clearly better investments than others."
The advice is awesome, I wouldn't change anything in it.

Thanks for the help on re-structuring that sentence. IDK why but I have always had a terrible time with sentence structure because a lot of my sentences are in passive form DX
If you see any more sentences that bother you and you know how to fix then just go ahead and click edit and change it right then an there.

Still have a long way to go, but it's better to start getting crew opinion on the subject now.

I also think changing the order of this would be a little easier for people to understand. In order to hoard you need to build up capital, in order to build up capital you need to vend/exchange/play booty grab. Basically I would put hoarding as one of the last steps to earning gold because you usually have to do all this other stuff in order to get to the point to start to build a hoard.

-How to exchange
-Personalize Investments
-Holiday Trends
-Artificial Inflation
-Summer Deflation
I took out How to "analyze an Item" only because I wasn't sure where you were going with that. That could mean how to decide which items to target to vend/exchange or to attempt to predict how you think an investment is going to do in the future. Depending on how you were using it I would stick it either before "how to vend" or before "personalize investments" because you need to analyze an investment before you determine whether it is worth vending/hoarding.

Oh you make a very good point. This is very true ^_^
I'll work on order after I get the posts down, and then I can just Copy Pasta without ruining my train of though.
But yeah, I agree, learning how to vend/exchange is a pre-requisite to building hoards.

Just a possible re-wording for the intro:
Like you I was once a newbie, with little gold and little know-how on how to obtain gold. There was no one there to give me advice, no one there to show me the way and no one there to show me the light-- however I took the initiative and I learned the mechanics of earning gold quickly and quickly amassed a fortune. My goal with this guide is to enlighten you and show you the ways and alternatives to earning that gold that have helped me get to where I am today.

I was able to read it fairly fluidly. It's a great guide to have since it'll not only inform people, but will cut down on alot of repeat question threads.

Not much to critique, once you get to the Exchanging section I can help you out a bit. lol
I think one thing that's important is to get another person's opinion, or hopefully multiple people's opinion before actually hoarding something. You might think that the Shadow Spirit is the hottest and most awesome thing out there, but you need opinions on what the whole of Gaia things.

I like what's there so far. My feedback:
- The section on Booty Grab ought to point to the in depth Booty Grab guide once it exists (since it can't until it does). I'm not sure what you mean by "leave a Booty Grab window open" - it sounds like you're advocating opening a game and not moving the avatar to catch gold while you're doing something else?
- Also to be added in Maximizing Your Funds: Stop Buying Random Stuff. I see so many people say they want to invest/hoard but spend all their gold on crap. You can do that later after you've accumulated a nest egg to start with.
- On the Personalized Investments: I like the discussion of risk. It could be expanded on some about how to figure out your own personal level of risk tolerance (like does the thought of having an item keep you awake at night).
- Typo under Long Term Investments: your pros mentions "short term investments".
Are you also planning to go into liquid assets vs. investments?
ETA: Store items vs. investment items needs to be in there somewhere

i have to hand it to you doom you certainly are a legend man xD
since ive been in this guild i had about 500k from booty grabbing 8 hours a day solid and i was not so good at it due to my pc lagging half way through some tanks xD
but if u see my store on the mp ... ive made 46+ mill just from advice u have given me from past threads ive seen of urs
and i envy ur nm sash hoard alot xP ( my fav item)
