She blushed and ducked her head. Now she felt silly because she had completely forgot that she had crossed the river. She followed after Sonnet quietly, the mud making a soft plop each time some of it slid off the filly's body. She winced a little bit since her body was sore from the fall.
She was a bit relieved as the river came into sight. The mud was fun and all, but she didn't want to be completely covered in it. Aer waded in and sighed happily as the current washed some of the muck of her hooves and legs. Lowering herself a bit more into the cool liquid, she wiggled her body to help knock loose more of the mud from her belly. Feeling a bit better, she turned to Sonnet and asked in a hopeful voice, "Do ya still wanna play?"

Sonnet waded a little into the water, his front legs submursed a little. Dunking his face and rubbing it against his legs trying to clear the mud off of his face. Mostly because it was starting to annoy him as it dried. Dunking his head a few times to clean it off before walking our to the bank and shaking the water off of himself. The front of is mane all wet and flopping now.
Looking over at her when she asked about playing still, shrugging not minding either way. Smiling. "Sure we can play, but what game did you want?" Not sure she was up for tag after the fall she took, but she seemd ok, probably just a bruse, he had had worse falls while trying to fly.

Aer frowned a little, "I dunno...." She thought for a minute, "How about we go on a expe- expi- expotition? Those are always fun."
She beamed as she made the suggestion. She and Hoshi always had a good time going exploring. It was such a fun thing to go looking for new things, She wondered if Sonnet would like it too..

Sonnet nods and shrugs, it sounded fine to him, though not really a game if you asked him. But he would go along with it if that was what she wanted to do. Giving her a smile, wondering if she was feeling better, but then she was suggesting lots of walking so she couldn't be hurt much. Just as he thought. "Okay lets go and explore."

Aer grinned and looked around before deciding to head to the right. Her head held high as she pranced along. She hummed a little tune as she led the way.

Sonnet followed along behind her, not minding exploring, though he wondered what all the fuss was about earlier. Watching her prance, she seemed to be perfectly fine. Shaking his head and walking along, looking round as they went so he had some idea of where they were going.

Aer looks left and right, trying to decide which way to go. With a shrug she heads left this time, taking them further away from the river. "Have you ever been this way before Sonnet?"
She nosed the ground as a caterpillar crossed in front of her, curious as to what it was. "Hmm...hello little...thing."

Sonnet nodded, not living too far from here so most of this area was known to him. "Yeah I've been here before." Wandering up next to her to see what she was talking to, seeing the caterpillar. "Thats a catpilar... they eat leaves..." Watching the little wiggly guy make its way across the path.

Aer giggled "Oh, it's all cute an an I think it's fuzzy!" She cantered over to one side. She jumped up, her little wings flapping to give her added height and not much else. "Do you go 'splorin a lot?"

Sonnet nodded and shrugged, he tended to go exploring to find places to practice, though they never stayed private for long as someone always found him, though apart from once it had always been girls so far. He didn't get that, why did girls always find him. Keeping these thougts to himself as he steps carefully over the catapillar and keeps walking on.
