"Low attacks give the other the advantage," Dodonna mumbled, storing that bit of information for later. He learned so much more when he could talk to his target, instead of just beating up rocks and trees. He'd have to seek out real fights more often. He felt puffed up with pride at the compliment he received, but considering it came from the victor, he couldn't get too enthusiastic over it. "Well, I did practice it alot," he offered. "That's what I was doing when you showed up, practicing."
At the mention of his hunting, Dodonna glanced over at the remains sheepishly, and it was his turn to be embarrassed. "Right, sorry about that. Didn't realize this land was owned." Normally he wouldn't care anyway, but this male had bested him in combat, so he would respect his territory. "I should probably shuffle off, then. Thank you for the fight."
He gave the other a formal nod, almost a bow, then turned to leave. Mentally, he made a note that he owed the pink lion a prey animal sometime in the future, for the one he'd killed. Debts must be repaid, somehow.

"Oh, no problem, really..." Fjolnir said, bowing his head a little to the other. I probably should have at least talked to you before just attacking like that... explained the situation."
Then he stopped himself and smiled. "Though, that would probably have averted the fight, and you don't seem to be too upset about that."
He nodded back at the red lion courteously draping his tail around his paws as he sat down to see the other off. "You are welcome back again anytime, really. Maybe we can have some more practice fights."
