Seth's Dark Tyranitar was just as intimidating as its trainer - if not even more so. Dark pokémon seemed intriguing, but Akemi liked her companions the way they were.. And she, no matter how loyal she was to the organization, she could never treat her pokémon as 'tools'. They were her friends, her trusted companions. They were Team Rocket members just as she was - in her opinion, at least.
The girl decided to release her red-eyed Wartortle out of its ball, and the turtle pokémon looked around silently to get a grasp of the situation. It understood this was serious and did not goof around, which Akemi was grateful for. Fushigi would have been the same, but Hikari and Rei were... a little less trustworthy, at least for the time being.
The late arrival of Panther had obviously put Seth in an even worse mood, and Akemi could not help but feel sorry for the fellow Grunt.

She waited for the others to release Pokemon, glancing around as she did, until her eyes found someone who didn’t have a Pokemon out, not that she was surprised, the other elite had said she was going to observe, that didn’t mean participate, she didn’t need her Pokemon out to watch, though, it made Faleen wonder what kind of Pokemon she did have.
She had just noticed, in her glance, a strange blade in the female Elite’s hand when Seth’s voice suddenly snapped out a name, and began loudly scolding someone in the room. Looking back at him quickly to see that he didn’t look too pleased either.
Turning to look at who is was, she caught sight of one extra face that had not been there when they started the class, a small frown found its way on her lips when she recognized that face. Oh yeah, she remembered him from the café, her opinion of him remained rather… unfavorable. And apparently he had made a bad impression with Seth, maybe he only sucked up to pretty female higher ranks, this was interesting. She shifted out of the way so the other Grunt made his way forward easier, looking back over at Seth and his Tyranitar, wondering what was going to happen next.

Rin stood just as silently as she had sat down, closing her eyes briefly in the effort before glancing around the room to take an inventory of the pokemon already released. Knowing your surroundings and all that. She didn't have the need to make much other movement, as the only pokemon she brought with her was one who lived upon her shoulders or at her side almost constantly. Seth's words made her grin, though the expression was hidden beneath the cloth across her face. Granted, the movement of the fabric's folds gave some hint to a facial change.
She nodded lightly, and the silver-hued Eevee, somewhat less dirty in the effort to be 'presentable' for an official class, hopped down from her shoulders to stand rather bristled at her black-booted feet. His expression, unlike most eevee, was far less pleased. He didn't like to be at the forefront of anything. He didn't like to be the center of attention. Unless he was hurting someone or stealing something. Thus, his ears pinned back and he sat with a disgruntled and breathy 'veeee' at Rin's toes.
Her respect was a silent one for those of higher rank, notable by her straight posture and utter silence- be seen and not heard- though it seemed a cookie-cutter respect, and certainly not one of worry or concern over the growing fury of the elite agent running the class.

The grunt visibly winced a little at the sudden yelling. It seemed the elite had been waiting for him. His lateness was cause not only by his own reluctance to get out of bed, but also his newest pokemon that took forever to settle. Once relased from it's ball it hace torn through half of Panther's before taking his food. He was right, it was one of those days when he should have just stayed in bed.
Mentaly cursing he made his way forward, keeping his face as stoic as he could. Panther did not bother actually answering the elite, he knew the questions were retorical. Shade fallowed not realizing his master's mood. He keep on smiling, pleased to be the now center of attention.
As he got to the front he steped into stance and lifted his hand in a sulte, touching the top of his hat.

Cal looked on in awe at the Dark Tyranitar. She had a vague knowledge of them but never did she see one up close. When the elite asked for them to release a pokemon, she fiddled with her pokeball some more. She was reluctant to let her Pichu out. He was cute, no doubt, but he wasn't serious and just caused trouble. But why was she here anyway? She did need to get him under control.
She noticed that the other elite had moved away from the group and didn't take out any of her pokemon. She toyed with a dangerously sharp kunai knife while she looked at the group.
With a very drawn out sigh she released Skye from his ball. He blinked and squinted his eyes, letting them adjust to the light when he saw the Dark Tyranitar. He shrank back a little, but put on a brave face. Cal looked down at him faintly happy, he hadn't done anything yet.
Soon enough, Seth had spoken up. More like yelled at another grunt who had entered the room late. She looked on as the grunt made his way up to Seth and she noticed that that grunt looked familiar. She stifled a a laugh as he went past. Skye had noticed Shade and was about to go up to greet him, but Cal quickly stepped on his tail and scolded him without a word. She looked up at Panther eagerly to see what Seth had in store for Panther.

Seth looked most serious as Panther came forward with his Gengar. The elite looking the ghost type over for a moment, before looking at the grunt.
"Since you're taking things so lightly here, we'll be going ahead to the battle demonstration. You and your Pokemon will be participating."
With that, the tall man turned towards the marked battle field that they stood beside. The Tyranitar followed him as Seth moved to one end of the field and stood ready. The behemoth of a Pokemon obediently taking his place in front of his trainer. Seth looked on, expecting Panther to occupy the other end.
"Take your best shot."

Faleen all but squirmed in place with excitement, oh YES they were going to see this fight, she of course knew the drastic type advantage, but that added to the deliciousness of the situation. At this point, she didn't care that it was against the Grunt, she just liked seeing Darks beating the crap out of their weaker types, at least that's what she really hoped for anyway. leaning forward a little, she waited waiting anxiously for the first move.

This was not good. His mind raced, the type disadvantage was horrible. He was glad this Shade had evolved, and they had been training, other wise this would just be a slaughter house. As it was, his chances were just about zero.
But Shade didn't know it. He smiled, fallowing Panther, he got to battle. He had not the faitest idea that his attacks would do little against the larger pokemon.
Panther snaged the pokemon before he got into the ring. "Be quick on your feet." He said, loud enough to be heard. He didn't want Seth wondering what he said, but he felt Shade had to be told.
Shade didn't understand, but nodded, before being relased and then taking his spot across from the Tyranitar, still having that endless smile on his face.
Quickly Panther ran through his options. "Shade, thunderbolt."
Shade nodded and floated up, shooting a thunderbolt at the larger pokemon.

Watching with a stoic expression, Seth had pulled out a Team Rocket standard issue Pokedex and scanned Panther's Gengar.
Thus, the elite was not at all surprised when Panther ordered his Gengar to do a Thunderbolt attack.
Due to the accuracy of the attack, it easily hit the Tyranitar, but caused it to do little more than grimace and growl lowly. The attack seemed to only inflict minor damage, suggesting that it was likely of an advanced level.
"Hmph. Is that the best you can do?" Seth's taunting voice rang out from the other side of the room.
Outstretching his arm, Seth then pointed towards the ghost type. "Now! Tyranitar, use Crunch attack!"
In response the dark type bellowed a roar, its aggressive nature surfacing as it was now allowed to attack. It then charged, coming at Panther's Pokemon like a runaway freight train. The floor shaking with each pounding step it took. It was faster than it looked, and before long, its maw opened only to close again in a loud crash of jagged teeth. With every intent to crush the ghost in a super effective attack. As much as one could crush a ghost anyway.

Despite the earlier warning, gengar was not prepared for the large rock type to be so fast. It froze for a breif moment, and then tried to doge the train of a pokemon. It was unable to get away, and let out a loud, blistering, scream as it's shoulder and arm were crushed between teeth and more teeth.
Panther backed up as the larger pokemon came at his side of the ring. No matter how much control the elite may have had, he was not trusting the large pokemon coming his way. He frowned as his gengar was crunched, a supereffective attack. They had to do something to slow it down, if that Tyranitar got into a frenzy, it would be all over for them. "Gengar hypnosis."
Gengar pulled away from the attack, clearly hurting. He wanted to attack, but trusted it's trainer more. It turned and shot a wave of hypnosis at the Tyranitar.

Akemi and her Wartortle watched the battle with interest. The Gengar didn't seem to have much of a chance but at least it was putting up a fight. The Tyranitar wasn't going to come out completely unharmed, at least. Seth and his Dark pokémon were merciless, it seemed. Like a Rocket should have been, most likely. Akemi knew she could never be like that... instead she would have to find her own way, her own methods of serving the organization. Luckily she did have some natural talent when it came to stealing pokémon, at least. She was a skilled pickpocket, and unaware Trainers were easy to surprise.
Soon, she would have to go on bigger missions as well, however, and that was why she had to train. A lot. There were other people who were her age and had advanced to Agents already.. so at least she had a chance when it came to the question of age. She would just have to prove herself useful, and today seemed like a good day to start.
As Panther's Gengar used Hypnosis, Akemi turned to watch the Tyranitar in order to see if it would indeed fall asleep, or if the Dark pokémon was more resistand to such moves.

Unfortunately for Panther, Hypnosis was known for being only 60% accurate, and as luck would have it... it didn't work. The Tyranitar was completely unaffected.
With arms crossed, Seth snorted slightly. He raised his voice so that everyone in the room could hear him.
"In most cases its best to end battles quickly. Tyranitar, again! Crunch!"
Swinging its thick tail, the beast snarled and barreled towards Panther's Gengar again for another hit.
"Use every advantage you have! Even if your foe is weak. It may be seen as playing dirty, but we're Team Rocket. That's what we do. This is not the Pokemon League! If your opponent has a disadvantage, exploit it! Especially in the field."
Seth's ruthlessness was what got him to the rank of elite after all.

The gengar took it in the back letting out another cry, this time it was angery more then suprised. He was severly low on health, the Tryanitar's cunch severly weakening it's defences. It got away as quick as it could, sparking.
Not much could salvage the battle now, and the grunt knew it. Panther forwned to himself at the sparks but nodded, letting the gengar do what it wanted. "Shade, thunder bolt!" The elite was right, taking advantage of the opponets weakness was the thing to do. under normal circumstances he would call it off now and make for a quick excape. But that would not save him from this battle, best to go down fighting.

Shuppet's mouth was hanging open a little in shock at the battle he was witnessing... this was completely out of his league, he had never witnessed a fight like that before, let alone be APART of one. looking over to his Master, who's shoulder he was floating by. his mouth closed, from the look on her face she hadn't seen anything like this either, but she reaction to it was... what he expected. the way she looked at the Tyranitar... Shuppet felt very small.
Faleen felt her heart beating against her, the mere sight of the massive bulk and power of the Tyranitar, that Gangar's moves were no more then a pesky fly to it. and upon seeing the move "Crunch" her felt the hair on her arms prickle. She was grinning at this point, though at times, especially when the other Pokemon was in pain, her grin turned somewhat dark, but pleased. She was glad the little ghost continued to try and fight, the more it tried, the more she got to see. She took in every word that Seth was saying, and watching closely to the Tyranitar's moves.
