Amme smiled. She actually really liked the celebrations they threw. It was something she always looked forward to. She enjoyed the music most of all. Dance too, but she never danced- she just liked to watch others dance. "Festival of Khonsu? It came up rather quickly this year," Amme noted. She thought for a moment, Jackles would explain the livestock problem. She nodded her head, "Yes at least nobody is getting hurt in the process." Of course she left out the part that she knew that- since she had been checking people within the village.

Amme looked away for a moment when Atem mentioned the wife thing. They had been pushing that subject quite a bit. Yes Atem was her friend ever since they were young, but she dare not ever say she felt more then that for him. She barely admitted it to herself. She couldn't, so why think it? She closed her eyes and smiled a little to hide any type of emotions that she held about the subject. She giggled a little too. "It's funny to hear your mannerisms change when others are not around," she said to try and be cheery. Atem always acted more casually around her, Mana, or Mahado. Anybody else and he was the 'proper pharaoh'. She then looked back in front of her and said closing her eyes again, "You're lucky though, you are allowed to marry." It always irked her a little to think about the matter- since she had common blood she could not marry any royalty in the palace. But because she was the royal healer, she had to dedicate herself to her position. She could not go out and marry a commoner since it would take her away from her obligations. Though they have never told her out loud that she couldn't she knew the facts of the matter.

His last statement through her off a bit. She looked back at him slightly shocked. She then looked behind her to see if anybody was around. She didn't want anybody else to over hear that. She looked back at Atem and smiled slightly nervously, "I don't think I would be a very good wife...... queen. Besides, maybe the right woman hasn't come along yet...." Amme looked off to the side with her eyes. This whole 'choosing a wife' thing has been a real hassle for her, emotionally. It was doubled especially since her and Isis were the ones who had to fit all these women. She looked behind her again to see if anybody was behind her. She then looked back at Atem and said, "But I have to admit that last batch were nothing but whiny leeches."

Bakura stretched as he came out of the alley. Things were rather boring today. Too quiet, too boring. He couldn't sneak into the palace now even if he wanted to. No, he was going to do it tomorrow night during their stupid festival. What was a better opportunity then when everyone was in a drunken stupor? But as for now, he was bored. He put his hood up on his hooded robe and walked into the city. What should he do? He couldn't get the guards TOO angry. So killing was out. He looked over to see table with a couple selling some home made jewelry. Bakura couldn't resist, he had an eye for such things. He walked up to the table and blatantly started taking their merchandise and shoved it into his pockets.

The woman at the table obviously saw Bakura do this so she yelled at him, "Sir! You have to pay for those!" She was about to grab his arm to make him stop.

However, Bakura swiped her hand and grabbed it. He gripped it tightly as he pulled her closer. "And what do I owe you?" he said sadistically. "What if I don't have money? Then what will you do?" he said with a smirk.

The husband of the woman ran over to him and yelled, "Hey scumbag let her go!"

It was then that Bakura brought out a knife and brought it to the woman's throat. "Hold it right there or you'll have to worry about more then stolen merchandise!" he said with an evil smirk. The woman shrieked in fear. Bakura jumped up onto the table and pulled the woman up. He brought her up with him, kept her back to him, held her one arm behind her back and the other held the knife to her throat. The husband backed off from fear, pleading for him not to kill his wife. "Ah beautiful young love. Where one will simply die if the other is murdered before his eyes. What will he do when she's gone? Will he waste all his money? Bury himself in woe? Drown himself in whores to make the pain go away? Forget everything? Rage against the world?" Bakura said twisted.

"What do you want? You can have what ever but leave my wife alone..." the man pleaded and begged.

"You know what I've been craving for? A good adrenaline rush. Something to give me that pick me up, without the nasty side effects," he said referring to drugs. When the man didn't understand Bakura kicked him in the face and said, "Bring me that fool from the Palace! The one who forces justice onto others. Tell him I call to him personally, High Priest Seth. One of you pigs GO! Go and do it!"

Finally the woman let him be but Seth took a few more second to look at the courtyard. "Hmpf," he said turning around and walking back to the palace. However, he didn't get very far. He was stopped by a guard who seemed rather frantic. He rolled his eyes a little but addressed him, "What is it?" The guard told him of a commoner who told him of the maniac within the city. Nobody knew it was Bakura, but he was still a crazed man who had to be dealt with. When Seth was told he was called out personally he gritted his teeth. "Get my men. I will get my Millennium Item and meet you at the steps. We'll see what this mad man wants," he said. He met his men at the steps as he said and they went into town to arrest this criminal.

Atem nodded, This would be jest what everyone needed to help get there minds off of the other things going on, even if it would only be for a night. "Well, your one of my closest friends I know i can relax around you and not get snapped at for it" He said, Oh if anyone other than Amme, Mahado or Mana knew he would go back to acting jest like any other person he would be told that he needed to act like a Pharaoh. He looked over at her and his brow frowned "you would be a good wife, and dont let anyone tell you otherwise, any guy would be lucky to have such a kind hearted woman as a wife" If it wosent for that stupid blood thing he would gladly take her as a wife. She was one of his closest friends and he knew that he would be able to jest be him with her, with those other women they would expect him to be Pharaoh all the time and he jest couldent do that.

the other muchernts that were near said booth wisely backed away from the mad man. some told there wives and kids to go to there homes and stay there "why is it the freaks come out when fesavels are near" one man commented since sometimes guys would start celabrating a little earler than they should be.

some guards that are ment to jest make sure nothing happens in the city surroended the mad man "What do you want High priest Seth for" one asked the crazed man

Anala looked over back into the city, she ran out but she could tell something was going on. she wondered what was going on though she learned its best to stay away if something bad was going on.

((lol its cool, acctuly you gave me an idea, how about Bakura lures Seth out to the desert and gets him lost, play with the food before killing it thing, and Anala is able to get him to her temple home))

Amme looked off to the side for a moment and said, "Maybe..." She didn't want to seem so gloomy so she decided to change the subject. "Well, if your not busy," she said putting her hands behind her back, "I suppose I could beat you in a game of backgammon." She peeked over at him and smiled slightly. Everybody knew he had a great prestige for gaming. She too was very good at games. Not as good as he was in all of them, but in certain games she proved better. Then again, he was the one who showed her how to play most games.

Bakura smirked at the city guard who asked him that questioned. "Very simply, I want to play a game with him," he said. He fiddled with the knife around the woman's throat and smiled as she spoke, "See, a game is only as fun as the challenge your opponent offers you. And I am rather bored today. So who better to challenge to a game then one of the best? I know I know, why not ask the Pharaoh? Well he's too much of a stick in the mud- always attending to business or something just as equally pointless. But who knows? Maybe this will raise awareness to 'his highness' and I will be lucky enough to play with him, one day, someday." It was obvious Bakura wanted to mess with these people.

Seth and his men walked through the city- keeping there eyes out. Luckily, it was rather close to the palace and relatively easy to spot out the situation. "You there!" Seth said pointing the Millennium Rod at the man, "let go of that woman! Surrender without struggle or suffer the extreme consequence !" Who was this fool? What exactly did he want beside him? He must be mad to call him out here like this.

Bakura laughed out loud at Seth's comments. "Oh Seth Seth Seth, you never change do you? Waving that thing around like your the one in control," Bakura said keeping his identity still hidden.

"You have no idea who your talking to. And for that I'll make sure your sentence is a brutal one," Seth hissed at the man. Of course he was the one in power here, some nobody against a high priest with a Millennium item.

Bakura put his hand on the top of the robe and said, "You're sadly mistaken Seth." Bakura then lowered his hood to reveal who he was. "Your end will be brutal and merciless," he said with a twisted smirk. He saw the guards all point their spears at him, now that they knew who he was. He pressed the knife up against the woman's neck again- causing her to scream once again. "Now now don't be so hasty! You're making me nervous, and if I'm nervous I may slip and slit her throat," he said making them back up a bit. "Listen up Seth, I wanna play a game with you. It's very simple, even you would know it. It's a simple child's game. Tag," he said then took his free hand to go into his pocket where the jewels were. He brought them out and said, "I have committed a crime, so you must catch me. If you do, you will be considered a hero for catching the great thief Bakura. If you don't then I get to live another day. What do you say?"

"I'm not going to play a foolish game with you. I'm going to take you in now and be done with you forever!" Seth said declining Bakura's stupid request.

"You don't have a choice!" Bakura said throwing the woman toward the guards. She screamed as she fell into them. Bakura then jumped off of the table and ran from the scene. He knew Seth would chase him at the chance of catching him.

Seth moved out of the way of the woman and followed after Bakura. There was no way he wasn't coming back empty handed. This was his change to finally get rid of this plague filled vermin. Luckily, Seth was quite the fit person, he could easily keep up with Bakura. He had to push himself to keep up with him since Bakura already got a head start. Bakura lead him through the city and eventually outside into the desert. Seth followed blindly, enraged and focused on catching Bakura.

"What's the matter Seth? Palace life leaving you lame and slow?" Bakura insulted.

"Only cowards run! When I'm done with you there will be nothing left!" Seth threatened him.

[[if you don't want to have them play backgammon, they could play with a Ouija board- apparently they were around back then known also as 'luck boards' or 'fortune boards'. Or they can play a different game. ]]

If theres one thing Atem couldent resest it was a game "we'll see who beats who" he said all in good humer. It relaxed him to play game, and helped him think sometimes as well. But they were no fun if you dident play with friends that knew it was jest a game "Its acctuly fun to play with you, few treat games like games anymore" he said mostly reffuring to the few games he had played with Seth, who seemed to take them all to seasorsly.

He asked one of the servents to bring the game for them once they got to a room that had a little privacey, it was still connected to the mane cortyard but there was a table and seats so no one would bother them as they played the game there, that sopt was used alot for games.

the town was all up in arms, well the most terrafing person that ever lived was right there and nearly killed an innacent woman jest trying to make a living with her husbend.

Anala knew that you shouldent be in the desert if you dident know it well, and that you shouldent be out in the hottest part of the day since you can easely get really sick from the heat.
She peeked over and saw the red clocked man running, she hoped Bakura would get lost someware out in the dessert, though she dident know why Seth was chasing affter him. Bakura was up to something she knew and she ran at a safe distence behind them, jest incase the whight haired thife did do something and she needed to attack him.

She jest hoped that a sand storm wouldent blow up, those were annoying and were certen death if you couldent find shelter from them, though now wosent the time of year for them one could still sneek up any time.

[[do you know how to play backgammon? Or should I explain it to you (or at least the gist of it)?]]

Amme knew exactly who he was referring to. She refused to play anymore games with Seth since she was young. All he did was insult her during and get mad if and when she ever beat him. Of course when she was younger, she was still inexperienced so winning against Seth was a rarity. After beating him once and his distress over it, she decided never to bother with him.

Atem on the other hand, win or lose, was never mean during a game. He took it seriously, but still had fun playing. So did she. Once everything was set up she took her seat and smiled. "Brown or white?" she asked giving him the choice. She handed him a dice as she held onto the other. "Let's roll to see who goes first," she said rolling the dice in her hand then letting it go.

"This isn't very interesting is it? Let's fix that!" Bakura said as he spun around and threw something out from under his cloak.

Bakura was so fast he didn't even have enough time to dodge what ever he threw at him. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain on the side of his calf. Seth stumbled a bit. He looked down to see the source of pain sliced and bleeding. Bakura threw a knife at him. "b*****d...." Seth mumbled as he got back up.

"Now can you still keep up with me?" Bakura laughed at Seth.

Since Bakura had stopped, Seth took the opportunity to finish this. Despite the pain, he launched at Bakura and managed to grab hold of him. He grabbed his cloak and pushed him down to the ground. "Now who's talking you filthy cur," Seth hissed darkly as he brought up his arm and came down to punch Bakura in the face.

Ok so he didn't plan on Seth catching him, but he could use this to his advantage. The two swung at each other, causing a decent amount of damage to one another. Both bled from their wounds but continued their struggle. Bakura then heard a fantastic sound from the distance. He looked up and smirked deviously. He rolled on top of Seth and pressed his hands down on his neck. "Well it's been fun. But I believe our game is over. You lost Seth," Bakura said and turned Seth's head toward the noise. "Sandstorm. If there is one thing to always be sure of is that they are bound to happen sooner or later. Luck was on my side. See, unlike you, I know my way around the desert. Along with some help that is. But you? You have been pampered like the rich stupid asses that you are," Bakura said as he took a deep swing at Seth's face. He then quickly came back and pulled another blade out. "They'll take days before they find your corpse," Bakura said. He came down and stabbed Seth once in the stomach. It wasn't a vital wound however it was a very painful wound. Bakura then jumped off of him and brought out a special black gem. "Goodbye High Priest Seth, may your soul be devoured in the afterlife," he said and with that envoked the gem's magic and disappeared into the sand storm.

Seth struggled fighting with the thief. If he could get one good hit he could drag him back. As much as he wanted to, he wanted to kill him right here and now. But he knew that he had to bring him back alive to receive judgment. When Bakura showed him the sandstorm Seth's eyes widened. Was this Bakura's plan from the beginning? "s**t...." he mumbled. He then saw Bakura lift something into the air. When he saw what that thing was, everything went to slow motion. Bakura jammed it into his gut and Seth let out a horrifying scream. It was a pain he had never felt before. "Bakura!!!!" he screamed at him as he tried to get up. The blood from his wound flowed freely. It would take a few days for him to die from this, but it was excruciatingly painful. "Bakura! I swear to god I'll kill you!!!" he screamed as Bakura disappeared.

(( - -' could you jest give me the jist, I used to know this game but i havent played it in years and forgot most of it))

"I sapose Ill take Brown" Atem said, though he really dident care all that much. He needed this after a boring day of working and meeting, and there were few people he enjoyed playing with as much as Amme. She jest played the game for fun not to win, thats how games were ment to be played. "so few people will acctuly try and play with me, most of them wount or let me win" he said as he rolled the dice. "They wount put up a fight since Im pharaoh, i like a chaleng"

Anala knew this was bad, Sanstorm though sometimes short could easely get anyone lost. She Watched the scruff and she knew she couldent go up agent Bakura, he would killer in a moment, so the moment Bakura ran off she went up to Seth and looked over the wounds the thife gave him "This not good" she said more to herself, under normel seromstances she would stay away, but he was hurt and she dident want him to die.

She thought fast, she couldent do anything here, but she might be able to get to the temple before the storm hit. "I know a safe place, come with me" she said and helped him get up, She dident know how to fix up wounds like they did in town but she had enufe herself to know what works but she couldent do anything out here. He could go once he was better and not hurrting any more and things would go back to the way things were ware she jest watched and then went out here to jest try and live.

The tempel itself was jest as big as other tempels, a streem that branched off from the nile ran near it and both inside and outside had saeves statuches of the Jackel headed god, though some were worn out and broken. But it still was livabul, for her atleast, the bones around shoed some kind of predator lived hear there but nothing went inside the buliding it self.

[[no prob- at least you used to play. haha I had to go online and play a few rounds before I posted last time XP

http://www.bkgm.com/rules.html
-this is better then me summarizing it. Don't worry about the doubling cube dice- I never played using that (nor do I know many that do). Don't worry about "pips" winner is determined by who gets all their pieces home (off board). Don't worry about the section "doubling", "Gammons and Backgamons", and "Optional rules".

Also I know it says "red and white" but the board I have is "brown" and I think that color combo is nicer razz haha]]

"Alright then I'll be white," she said smiling. It was true, she usually played games just to have fun. This was one of the reasons she was so good at them- she wasn't afraid of losing, which allowed her to take risks that would pay out in the end. "I remember when we were younger and kids used to try and challenge each other to try and beat you. They were either too afraid of 'what will happen if I beat the Pharaoh' or they just choked under pressure," she said moving the dice over to her. "I get to go first," she said looking at the board. "It's not fun unless there is a challenge. I always figured that was the point," Amme giggled a little. "Don't worry, you'll have plenty of challenge with me," she said kidding a little. It was strange to hear Amme speak like this. Well, not to Atem- since this is the way she spoke to him. Well, and Mana as well. She moved one stone with another stack and another all by itself. "You're turn, roll the dice," she said handing him the dice.

Seth looked into the distance to see a figure run toward him. If he wasn't in so much pain at the moment, he would have questioned this whole scenerio. Such as, why was a woman out here alone? He did question whether he was hallucinating or not. When she came near he curled a little from the pain and growled. "Who are you?" he said, obvious he was in pain. His eyes blurred a little from time to time. She stood back up and attempted to help him up. Seth, being the paranoid loner he was didn't take her hand at first. "I can do this by myself...." he said growling again. When he started to get up all he could feel was horrid pain. He stopped and shook. He looked back up at the girl and took her hand the second time. If he didn't follow her or let her help him, he would die out here. It took a while for the both of them to get to their destination. His eyes were blurring from time to time from the sandstorm and the loss of blood, but from what he could see it was an abandoned temple. An old anubis temple? He didn't talk much, he didn't have the energy at the moment. As they walked up the steps Seth fell to his knees, "Arrgggghhhhhhh!!!!" he shouted from pain.

{{kk thanks alot, i ow ya, and my friend says hi}}

Atem took the dice and rolled it. He though for a breef moment clearly making a stradagy for himself "yes, My father once said to think of ruleing like a game sometimes, every chalange that comes has a soluation" he said as he moved his pieces. That was probely why he liked games so much, his father tought him alot and they kept him mind sharp. "I belive it is your roll once agen" he said handing the dice back to her.

Anala could sence the storm dieing down, luckely it was sheltered around the temple. She helped Seth get into a position that wouldent hurt him all to much.
She shook the sand out of her hair and off her before running into the temple and grabbing a bowl of water and some cloth that were left behand. She looked around for a moment and picked a plant that was part of the overgrown temple. She squezed the stem and a few droops of the sap fell into the water. "it helps the pain leave" she said dipping the cloth in and offered it to Seth. She dident trust herself to do this so she felt it was better if she jest set it up for him to do it. They were atleast out of the sandstorm and she could do this for him. She kept her eyes on the ground thinking its better since she belived she wosent pritty like the girls at the palace.

[[np and hello ^ ^ ]]

"Do you think there is a solution for everything?" Amme asked innocently. If that were true it would be a wonderful thought indeed. There was already so much negativity she liked hearing there could be a way to fix something. Amme took a moment before rolling to check out the board. Atem was fun to play with because he never stuck to the same pattern. She knew he was watching the way she was going to play her pieces. She rolled the dice and moved her closest pieces to home over more. Usually, she would try to bring the furthest pieces closer to home. But this time she was being rather tricky- if she took up most of the spot in her home area, when she sends Atem's pieces to the bar he'll have a hard time bringing them back to the board. She looked up at him for a moment and asked, "Do you miss your father?" [[people have done this to me multiple times, I hate them for it XD haha]]

Anala helped him get up and move over to an area where he could lay down and be propped up. She ran off into the temple and Seth layed there watching. Did she leave him? With the sandstorm gone he could at least look at his wound. He put his Millennium Rod down and started ripping his shirt off since it would hurt too much to pull it over. It was easy to rip from the tear Bakura gave him. He rubbed the sand out of his hair as well, it was everywhere since his hat fell off during the fight with Bakura.

Seth checked out the wound, it was certainly deep but probably not hitting any vital. "Damn it....." he murmured thinking about the whole situation. How could he have let Bakura get away from him? How did he let himself get hurt like this? And why didn't his men follow him? Idiots.... he was going to raise hell to them when he got back. Anala came back with water and a rag. He blinked at her, she didn't speak much. She let him tend to his wound, which he preferred it this way anyway. He took the rag and patted the area to clean it up. It stung at first, but she was right, it started to relieve the pain a little. He cringed when it stung, but his facial expression relaxed when the soothing kicked in. He looked over at Anala and asked, "What's you're name?" His voice was cracked a little since he was exhausted from the fight and blood loss.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 06, 2010 7:01 pm

Atem nodded as he watched her "I like to think so. After all i couldent do whats best for the people if i only thought there was one way to do everything" he said. he rolled his turn and decided to move the ferthest pieces closer, doing the exact opiset of what Amme was doing, if this wouldent end up working in the long run he would simply try a deffernt one in a few turns. "Sometimes, but he is in the afterlife now, so im sure hes fine" He belived so, and one day he would get to see him once agen.

Anala sat a few feet away, she knew from watching him that he dident like anyone being to close so she wouldent go closer to him than she allready was. She pulled her knees up to her chest abd hugged them. "..Anala.." she answered and looked at the ground a bit imbarested, she dident know if that was a good name or not, she kind of made it up, well it was the first thing she acctuly wrought so she jest used that as her name. Not that it madders much no one ever calls her that. " but people call me thife, street rat, dirty worthless little pesent, you can call me one of those if you want to" het if everyone dose then why not she must be those things after all.

[[UGH *jealous* haha I'm going to go see it some time next week ^ ^ was it good?]]

"Me to," she agreed with him. Although now was mostly a time for prosperity, there was always minor to moderate problems. Even extreme problems. One came to mind, Thief Bakura. She looked at the board again, what was Atem doing? She playfully cursed his ability to be flexible with strategies. She rolled and continued working with her pieces, inbetween making sure her furthest pieces don't get trapped and that she spreads her closets pieces out. However, she was running herself a little thin. "He was a good man. I was scared when I fist came here. Personally your father scared me from looks alone. But he was kind. In the beginning, when I was supposed to be training my magic, he let me skip it and play in the garden," she said handing him the dice. "Don't tell anybody that by the way, he told them I wasn't feeling good. They still may remember that," she said with a small chuckle. She handed him the dice for his turn.

"Anala?" he repeated. It was a name he hadn't heard before but it wasn't bad. He paused when she told him the things he could call her. He was a little taken back, it wasn't a normal response. He stared at her a little after she said it, not sure how to respond. The girl just saved him, he wasn't that cruel to name call her. He kept the rag on his wound while he was taken back. "No, I'll call you by your name," he said. "what were you doing out in the desert?" he asked slightly curious but with his usual stern voice. He didn't realize that this was her home.

(Oh yes, i want to see it agen it was very good)

Atem was used to taing riskes like he was with games, it usaly let him win since he would throw the other person off. "No need to worry, I wount tell another soul" he said. He agreed with her about his father seeming scarry at times, sometimes that was importent to gane respect, though he always was kind deep down. He also rembered his father saying once that is he ever got the chance chose a wife that he acctuly cares about, that was highely unlikely but he wished he could still. "He did the same with me sometimes, if he thought i was being straned to much in my lessions" he rolled his turn and this time move his pieces tht were closest to home.

"this is my home" Anala said. she decided she wouldent look derectly at him, One she wosent used to converacition and two she dident want him to think she liked him, it would be usless since she was sure Seth wouldent like that. " Jackles have outside, i get inside" for her that seemed to be fair, its been like that her hole life after all.

The game continued on. Amme continued her strategy however made it hard for herself to get her two furthest pieces out of Atem's home section since he was bringing them closer and closer. She needed a 6 or a 5 to move her pieces. If she got a 5, she would also capture one of his lone pieces and send it to the bar. She rolled the dice and to her surprise, got a double 5. "Sorry there, but I'm going to have to capture one of your pieces," she said moving both of her furthest pieces to the 5 spot. Since it was a double number, she got to move four times instead of two. So she moved two other pieces to legal spots.

"Now you'll have to get either a 2 or a 5, otherwise you'll have to skio your turn," she said smiling. The reason for a 2 or a 5 only was because her pieces were occupying all the other spots. It worked, but in her doing this strategy, Atem was a lot further along then she was. "Do you think animals go to the afterlife too?" she asked a bit randomly. Since they were kind of on the subject of the afterlife, this was something she always wondered. "You never hear or see anything about what happens to animal when they die and pass on," she added. Amme liked just about every animal, birds were her favorite though.
[[I dunno if there is anything about animals and afterlife, just making stuff up XP ]]

Seth looked at the temple as she explain. He should be used to things like this- there were plenty of people who were homeless or had poor living conditions. So why did it bother him ever so slightly that she lived here? He sat up from shock, "Jackal?!" He looked around, he didn't see any jackals. Did she lived with Jackals? Didn't they attack her? "Do you mean you hide from the jackals inside?" he asked thinking that that is what she meant.

Seth finished cleaning out his wound. He rung out the cloth and temporarily put it over the wound. "Do you have a dry cloth?" he asked. This was perhaps the most he has ever spoken to someone that didn't pertain to business. He notice that she did not look at him directly. Was it because she knew he was a high priest, showing him respect? Did she not want to look at him? Her mannerisms were strange to him, so it was only natural he would ask. "Why do you not look at me? Do you know who I am?" he asked with his usual tone of voice.

((lol acctuly they did belive animals went to the afterlife, they would mummafy there pets and 'god' animals ))

Atem smiled "Sure they go, they are alive jest like we are" he said. His dad had a pet dog he had mumafied with him. they were good companey and well who wouldent want there pets with them. He was in a tight spot and he knew it, though if he dident get the numbers he needed that would be allright.

He roled and hopped he got a 2 or a 5, he got a 6 "Allright then, your lucky so far" he said though the secent time he got a 1 so he would have to skip "i think the dice likes you, so its giving you what you need" he joked with her even though it was jest that luck, it was fun none the less.

Anala bit her bottem lip a bit nervous clearly "They dont hurt me" she said "He" she pointed to one of the stachues "gave me something to keep them from hurting me when i was little, said to keep it around my neck" and she did still ware it, she never took it off or let anyone see it since she dident want anyone to take it.

She looked arouns a bit and stood up and toor one of the old fabrics down that had once deceracted the temple and gave it to him. "...your name is Seth" she said, no she dident know he was a high priest but she knew he was importent "Im not good enufe to look at you when your this close...only from far away...im not pritty or smart like the other pritty girls that are in the big home you live in" she really dident think that she was, she was always dirty and couldent read and barley wright, well she couldent even do that she jest knew a few wordes.

(a thought i had, the M.items were made based off items gods would give humans to in a way keep the piece, though when they were made most took them back since they got pissed at them)

[[ah I see ^ ^ thank you. and as for the M. items, that would work. then that's why the 7 known M. items were created. To bring that power back. And not all of the gods took back the other items- like Anala's or Amme's. The god that made Anala's item is anubis right? Amme's would be Imhotep (god of healing and art of medicine). ]]

"But what about animals in the wild? Or animals that can't be buried? Like those that are eaten by humans or animals?" she asked. It was rare for common folk to eat meat, but it was a specialty at the palace. Amme never ate meat or fish, even when she was forced to eat it. Seth had a big problem with her not eating fish and meat, but eventually gave up on her. She did however eat and drink animal products like milk and butter. She rolled the dice and took her time moving, she was thinking about what she just said. She thought about people who may not receive the same burial right as they did. She wondered if her parents were given the chance to go to the afterlife. She knew they had passed during one of her visits to the city. Fellow friends said they gave them a proper burial, as best as they could.

"They don't attack you?" he questioned. What did she possibly have to keep such creatures at bay? Seth looked at the statue then back at her, "What is the item?" She knew his name, he was a little shocked about that. But she seemed to not know that she was a high priest of the palace. "Have you..... seen me before?" he asked confused. Any other situation and he would have been yelling at her for information due to paranoa from her last statements. But since she helped him and he was still injured, he wouldn't bother fighting. Doing so would probably weaken him. It worried him that she said he has watched him before, but at the same time there was something about her modesty that kept him calm. "Yea well some of those pretty girls you speak of aren't that smart.... trust me," he remarked.

[[maybe I should have the guards find Seth now. Because Seth is grateful to Anala, he'll tell them to bring her with him- to feed her and reward her and such. I figured when he is almost back at the palace, the guards will tell Atem and Amme (since Amme has to heal him completely) ]]
