Yay... I feel this is a pretty solid victory that shows my RP skills and capabilities well. I'm rather proud of myself, since apparently my opening post was so frightening to my opponent, that he left the guild entirely.
Gotta be careful in the future, can't be scaring everyone away. I'll try to tone it down, for the sake of the guild membership.

Cobra_X Yay... I feel this is a pretty solid victory that shows my RP skills and capabilities well. I'm rather proud of myself, since apparently my opening post was so frightening to my opponent, that he left the guild entirely.
Gotta be careful in the future, can't be scaring everyone away. I'll try to tone it down, for the sake of the guild membership. ((Bah, you would have won anyway. I'm just glad I didn't have to fight you... Is the Chuunin exam a round robin tournament?))

BAH!... nothing is ever certain in such situations. though, I appreciate the vote of confidence. (Hopefully Lilly will be in here soon to deflate my ever-growing ego.)
...I don't really know what Death has planned, but it's possible that it could just be straight elimination tournament style. The brackets would be unfortunate in that case.
...OR...
Since Kenji was so awesome he scared away his opponent, I could just fight both of the winners of the other fights, 2v1.
*rubs hands together* twisted "Yes...Yes..."

Kaisho stood up out of disappointment from the lack of action. "Well guess I'll head home, maybe I'll be able to get some training in today." Kaisho thought as he waved bye to Rashir and left the arena.

 Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Genin Kenji continued to look around, playing with the masses of water he was controlling in his hands, juggling them like balls casually in a rather bored fashion. It would actually be impressive to see how he could manipulate the water so easily, it wasn't something that anyone could simply do without the use of hand seals or other techniques, but Kenji had always been able to do it, so he had never thought twice about it. With a deep and heavy sigh, he launched the balls up in the air and allowed them to splash to the ground amidst the other puddles of water which he had created, making the area around him and death rather wet.
"Well this has certainly been fun. If it's all the same to you Death-sensei, I don't think he's showing up. I'd like to simply call this and congratulate my team on their good work." With another deep sigh, Kenji stuck one hand in his pocket as he waited for Death's response. "Such a shame too... all that preparation, for nothing." Lifting his hand slightly, the arena would see that in an area about 15 feet around them, water rose up in columns, creating a maze of swirling water, all of it carefully placed to act as both physical barriers and as sources of water for Kenji to use in his fight. His entrance and the games of water had been planned out to flood the arena with water, even before the match had begun in order to give him an edge. But alas, it was all for not, as Kenji released the water as it crashed to the ground and began to seep into the soil.

Kenji was right, Hiro was obviously not going to show at this point. To make it official Death announced, "This match's winner is Kenji by default! We apologize for the disappointment." Death didn't like water, and there was a lot around him now so he decided it was about time to head out. Nodding to Kenji, Death warped out of the arena.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Genin "Yay... default." Kenji said with an unexcited and sarcastic tone as he watched Death make his entrance... "What an unsatisfying disappointment. I wonder how Death-sensei will evaluate me based on this. All the others got to have their combat abilities observed. I guess I'll have to hope that my spar with Death was good enough to show him what I was capable of. I've grown since then... but I guess I'll just have to wait and see."
Placing both hands into his pocket, Kenji walked on the wet surface, keeping from sloshing through the muddied arena by pumping chakra into the soles of his feet to stay on the surface as he quietly made his way out of the arena. "Maybe I'll catch Kyoma and Haruko on the way out... I heard they both won their matches. What'll happen to our team if we all become Chuunin though?"
"Always to protect...never to harm."
